Please remove this splash screen with the new update. I pay a subscription.... I don’t need further clicks to get to the information I’m paying for.

I wanted to use it on iPad pro with keyboard. App does not work when iPad is in landscape orientation; it stays locked in default and everything is sideways. When i try to zoom in on the antibiogram on iPad or on iPhone, it only makes the freaking header text larger. All the tables are unreadable because you can’t zoom in. Useless, just buy the hard copy, dont bother with EMRAAntibioticGuide .

Don’t waste your money on EMRAAntibioticGuide . Most of the sections do not enlarge on your phone and the font is smaller than standard cell phone text font, so it’s really hard to read especially in a table. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing EMRAAntibioticGuide . If I could I would give zero stars. Very disappointed.

So design is more clunky and now more expensive and automatic renewal , lost me on this version and I have happily bought each one in past

EMRAAntibioticGuide is not for primary care. Have to find correct information elsewhere so what’s the point. Don’t buy.

Like the no nonsense ease of use of EMRAAntibioticGuide but it needs to be updated to reflect current recommendations. A good example is pneumonia, out of date.

Paying $10 a year for an app that hasn’t updated the guidelines for the newest hard copy of the guide that has been published. 20th edition is out and still no update on EMRAAntibioticGuide . Why pay the fee with no timely updates?

I do not like how I can’t look up by disease.

App menus are slow, jerky and at time unresponsive. Unable to zoom in on reference tables or place phone in horizontal position to improve readability. IMO, it's best to get a hard copy to keep at your desk and pass over EMRAAntibioticGuide until they fix these nagging issues.

There are several mistakes in this guide. The premise is awesome, but the mistakes are not! It needs to be fixed!!

Guidelines now recommend CAP be treated with 2 ABx but EMRA still recommends one. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I still really like EMRAAntibioticGuide .

No new updates and the antibiogram is terrible on iPhone if and when it works

Requires annually fee now, but no updates in over a year and still needs bugs worked out.

Disappointing update. Please, re-integrate bookmarks. It was a fav feature for me! I paid for the 2018 edition but am using the 2017 version because it’s faster as it opens to my bookmarked page! Kind of feel dumb for paying for the newest edition.

EMRAAntibioticGuide is almost a joke. The content is sparse, design amateurish, there are unreadable tables one can’t zoom into. Buy something serious, such as John Hopkins. Or use something free and great such as InfectiousDisease Compendium by Mark Crislip.

There is no trial for a reason. No professional would buy it. $10 wasted.

EMRAAntibioticGuide is great but needs to be more user friendly and fix the little bugs like needing to click a little lower on the top buttons for them to actually be clicked and the scrolling bar almost in the middle of the screen when you’re reading about anything.

Agree EMRAAntibioticGuide needs an update as we are paying an annual fee. I used to buy the print version which was updated annually. EMRAAntibioticGuide is good and works well, but if paying an annual fee, needs we should be getting annual updates. Even additional guidance in the information sections would be helpful.

I’m in PA school and use this for studying daily! It is such a great little app, and I know I’ll be using it in practice.

Love that the new app rapidly incorporates evidence-based updates rather than having to wait for an entirely new version!

The tables are very helpful and easy to use.
It’s a good quick reference for what you need. Excellent for finding alternatives when patients are allergic to the usual one.
Definitely appreciate the pediatric dosing chart.

I have been a fan of the book for years and even have attendings asking to borrow it. Finally downloaded EMRAAntibioticGuide and couldn’t be happier! It’s so much faster to find the related topic than flipping through a book and the displays are slick. In EMRAAntibioticGuide form, the updates are now more frequent instead of waiting for a reprint of the book. I encourage everyone to switch.
