Most stupid game and annoying game I have ever played

This game is by far the most irritating, stupid game I have ever played in my life by far. And I personally think that the creators of this game should not only be forced to delete the game from existence and maybe even get sewed for what happened in this game earlier. First off, when ever I ever complete a level, it just brings me down to the same level all over again. I have worked on level 21 for weeks now and all of a sudden, it just brought me down to level 20 which took me forever to complete. I would give this zero stars if I could or maybe even negatives and I’m also deleting this game immediately after I right this. I hope that the creators of this game see this comment and learn from it.

This is an ad farm, do not buy

My worst fears about this game were true. I highly recommend you read the reviews before purchasing.
I played the original game when I was a kid and this one pales in comparison. Apart from a vaguely similar aesthetic and flow, much of what was fun about the original is lacking here. The levels repeat puzzles and do not get much more interesting. Once you’ve seen the first 20, you’ve basically seen them all. The skeleton and sword you see pop up in most levels at the intro never comes into play, nor do you get to pick up a sword, which was such an iconic moment in the original. To top it all off, everyone else was right: when you pay to remove ads, the ads do not go away. It’s hard to come away from this and not feel like it’s here to farm our $3 each and our consumer availability to advertisements. Please do not feed this monster, move on to something with more value.

If I can get my $3 back I will. If I could report PrinceofPersia for false advertising, I would.

Pretty good game

I like this game a lot and it is so addicting. Saying that, there are some negatives to this game like for example sometimes after you die, the game has an option to keep going if you watch an ad. I will almost always touch that button and 8 times out of 10, I will not get to keep going. Whatever is happening is getting on my nerves.

Also, after an increment of time after you open up the game, an ad pops up on the screen and then the game glitches out and a lot of time I die because of it. I can’t keep going because of a problem that I already mentioned.

Another problem is that this game, a lot of times, repeats levels. It gives me the idea that your creative team isn’t very creative. Last, but not least, I sometimes can hardly see the jump control making it very hard to successfully jump over spikes or voids in the path.

The game is fun and addicting if those problems miraculously never show up.

Too many adds. And it scams you in in game purchases.

It’s a good game. Don’t get me wrong. Mechanics are smooth, and the graphics are beyond par for a cellphone game. However, I can’t play more than ten seconds without an advertisement playing in my face. And they are not short-spurted advertisements either. They are 15-30 second adds, some even don’t allow you to close out unless you interact with it at the end or even unless you say you’re interested. In which you are directed to the AppStore. So, I thought, the game is worth possibly just buying the “remove adds” prompt. In which costed me three dollars. I got one game add free before I got the same series of adds. And even more. And then I saw the add free prompts again. So, what? Do you get what measly game free of adds, only to be bombarded with even more the next game, for three dollars?! Yeah, no thanks. Don’t download the game. And surely do not buy the add free version. It’s crap.

All about timing

It irritates me that you actually need to lose in order to play again and remember where you failed and how you can change it. Even jumping from one platform to another you need perfect timing in order to land. It’s actually quite irritating. On top of all that, this game has TOO many ads. It pushes you so much to even revive by watching an AD video of some child’s app. And when you revive, there is no countdown so you are not prepared! You just immediately start from where you lost and in my own experience a revive has never helped me complete a level!

Do not update

The update has sucked the fun out of it for me. I’ll find myself rolling after jumping off certain areas where I would normally be ready to quickly access the nest platform. While the controls remain the same, there is delay during certain actions which can cause the character to jump late or not at all. I purchased PrinceofPersia without ads because I enjoyed playing it so much. Now I see I can skip levels or respawn for watching online videos? I’m sitting on thousands of rupees with no incentive to use them. If they can’t be used to further your process or pick up where you died, what is the point of them? Overall this was a really fun game to pass the time but with odd choices to the update has turned it into just a “meh” game.

Ad issue

The actual game isn’t awful but it’s not great either. There are so many ads that basically the whole game is watching ads. It takes the fun and enjoyment out of the game. And if you watch an ad to continue the game from where you left of it starts you way back from where you originally were!! This game isn’t all people think it is. Another issue is when you get new people pants or shorts to dress your character in it chooses for you! I don’t really know why you would get PrinceofPersia if you have read my review but if you do get it still then this was all a warning to you.

Update ruined it

I was addicted to this game and played it habitually anytime I had a spare moment until the latest update killed it. The screen jitters and lags now making the timing harder. I’m playing on a iPhone SE so it’s not so old that it shouldn’t be able to easily handle the graphics of this game. Plus the screen is zoomed in now which I guess is just a preference thing but I preferred the slightly pulled back view of before. Love Ketchapp since 2048, but I suspect the partnership has led to compromises (such as constant add propositions even after paying to remove them-they’re not mandatory anymore-just constantly “offered”).

Fun, but flawed

This is a good game to just kill some time with and very addictive, BUT what keeps this game from getting 5 stars are the following reasons:
1) After a while you are literally just repeating levels you have already passed. I don’t mean after 100 levels it repeats, I mean after level 10 or 15 you will notice that the levels are starting to repeat. In my every level should be different, they can be similar with minor tweaks, but not the exact same level you did 10 or so levels ago.
2) As many people have stated already there are way too many ads. I understand it’s a free game, but the ads are long and make it very annoying to play.
And 3) The controls are easy to use/maneuver, but there are some jumps/leaps that are literally impossible because your character can not jump that far. And with levels repeating you are bound to run into the same jump that you can’t make over and over again until you finally succumb and skip the level after the 30 second to 1 minute ad.

Overall: If you want a game to play that will help kill time then this is the perfect game for you, but be aware there are some annoying issues with this game as well such as ads, character/control restraints, and levels just repeating over and over again.

Really fun but two things take away from the game

The biggest one is your button placement is a littler poorly designed with no option to space them further apart. Especially because you have to drag to run meaning on a phone your fingers are almost right on top of each other. I think this connects to the second issue and that being that it’s only vertical. A lot of other vertical runner games use singlehanded swipe mechanics which I think is more efficient.

Great game, not flawless

After seeing this game through an ad, I immediately wanted to check this game out due to it’s gameplay similarity to Geometry Dash. The graphics are very commendable especially from Ketchapp. The models are nice to look at, the animations are smooth, and the level backgrounds add a lot to the environment. The only nit picks I have are with the gameplay and how precise they can be, and I also recently found a glitch that prevented me from beating a level. It was a level sequence where the player would drop down five levels of platforms, three blocks long with two spikes on the left side, however on the last step the player just dies no matter where I jump. I’ve tried doing this with both control modes, I’ve tested where the jump will land and it did not change anything. Somehow there must be a broken kill-some area on one of those platforms, so I do hope that this is fixed

Fun But Need Work

The game is fun and simple enough to play, but I have some issues:

The cost to remove the ads was too high and didn’t immediately work, so I was worried I wasted money on something that wasn’t what was promised. Plus paying to remove ads then having them as options for Gems is a bit detrimental.

Some jumps just can’t be made either, while most ledges take good timing there are times when it’s just an impossible move you can’t ever finish or predict and eventually you’ll be forced to skip a level.

Once and awhile the game will freeze and lag, but not too often.

The other issue is gems, I’ve almost collected all the customization options so collecting them will be useless, so I’d suggest adding more outfits based on other Ubisoft titles/characters. Also maybe have Gems be used for retries or invincibility?

Overall it’s a pretty solid time killer that has some flaws but still is playable, especially once you pay to get rid of ads which costed too much but still worth it if you plan to keep the game.

Going Nowhere Fast+Suggestions

Easy controls. Fluid gameplay. But if you’ve played the first few levels you’ve played them all. This game is a ONE TRICK PONY. You can collect gems only to change your clothes. It’s fun but leaves you wanting more to do within the game. It’s a great base and I would love to see some more creativity in the developing. I’d suggest the ability to purchase potions with your gems and other helpful accessories. Maybe a grappling hook for climbing higher or some kind of protection against those touchy spikes. I’d love to see achievement levels, alternate routes, maps, treasures, etc. Another really fun thing would be multiplayer race options.

Fun Ana Addicting Though...

This game is really fun and a tad addicting. I found this game on my phone by mistake and I decided to try it out. One thing to say about that. BEST CHOICE FOR ME. I immediately got addicted to it. I play it almost every week day with my friend on the bus. I still have a few improvements to suggest like maybe being able to go back levels. People I know want to try this game out, but I’m already at level 115! They can barely get a few steps past it, just ask the two twin boys who tried XD. I also want to add that maybe there should be another way to spend diamonds (or jewels I’m still not sure about that) Like buying backgrounds or like ways to jump (Flips, crazy, etc.) I hope you consider these! I’ll still love this game either way! Thank you for bringing this game to life!

Nice game, needs landscape mode

This is a solid, polished game. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t an infinite runner and actually gives you a good amount of control over the character. The only downside with the controls is there doesn’t seem to be a way to let go of a ledge or grab ledges mid air like the old prince of persia. Also it feels cramped to play with both thumbs in portrait mode, seems like landscape would be the natural choice for a game like this.

Worth $2.99

If you consider this a 65 level game, you’ll like it. It’s fun to play and gives you sense of nostalgia if you have plaid the original prince of Persia. After level 65 theres nothing new and a mix of all 1-65 repeats except a few new mix of spikes and tiles every now and then. So far I have played 214 levels and after 65, the only challenging level has been 206 which took me more than 100 tries to beat. Overall worth $2.99

Best parkour game on mobile

So far this has been one of the best parkour games I have ever played. don’t listen to all of the reviews some of these people have posted. they have no idea what they’re saying. If you’re stuck on a level, just wait until you get a chance to skip it for an ad. if you don’t like getting ads, then just turn your WiFi off. Easy as that. smh... so first off, animations are just super smooth and nice to play, the game is also very fun and addicting and the graphics, models, and clothes are pretty good. don’t know why they stopped updating this game.

Pretty awesome!!

Thanks for having “Prince of Persia” become an iOS game!! I’ve enjoyed it so far! It does get more difficult as you progress through the game though. It may not make sense to do this, but maybe add a rewind feature instead of a revival potion? I would appreciate it also if there could be a level selection because I would like to replay levels when it becomes too difficult to enjoy. Anyway, great game!! Thanks!! 🙂

Good game

Awesome game. I’m a little confused on the plot line. There is this skeleton guy that appears as you start the game. He then darts off in the opposite direction of the main character(presumably the Prince). Then the prince chases the skeleton. What? I thought it was escape room. Shouldn’t the skeleton be chasing the prince. And where is the prince going it doesn’t look like he is escaping. He repeatedly runs past widows, why wouldn’t he just go through the window? Great game though.

Fun and simple game but there's a bug

Recently downloaded the game and I'm liking it so far. Keeps me entertained but now I'm at level 13 and there's a bug where I just die like falling from too high without falling like that. It's at the beginning. No matter what I try, I just die like that or fall into spikes. Really wish you can fix it so I can keep playing 🙌🏻.
