I was excited for this but honestly it is 100% pay to play and your literally have nothing to do with playing the games. Its all done in a 2 second simulation. All you do is bid on players that are extremely overpriced so you have to spend money instantly to compete just to watch your guy drop 20 levels when he has a down week in the real nfl season. Spend 5 minutes playing before out of stamina then come back and do it again in a hour or 2. Wash - rinse - repeat. No control of the actual games makes this worthless.

I understand this is a Coach/GM simulator but have impact on defense plays or offensive plays is part of what a coach does. There isnt a draft so you cant build team through that so once again it is paying for high priced players that you can only get once you spend money. Ive spent 7 days grinding everything and still dont have enough to buy 1 guy that will improve my team. Even if you do, then you have no money for power ups so it doesnt matter. I dont mind paying for a good game but the amount of money needed to be spent constantly to improve your team is crazy especially when a week later that guy could drop in ratings to a point he no longer worth rostering.

Cant stand contract days. I get the concept but ive spent over $30 close to $40 on in game purchases to inprove my team and aquire better players but whats the point if you cant get enough contract days to resign all of your players after upgrading them to lvl 45 or higher and after 3 months you have to restart all over again essentially. Theres not enough contract days give from jobs or events unless you get first place!! I would love to keep playing this game if i could even buy contract days or enough to rsign my team for 10-$20 instead of buying coins to get a nee coach or MKT director or cash to get player in the auction house that are always over 14 million if above 50 player value. dont understand why spend money and keep improving our team to not be able keep more than about three players completely resigned on a 12 man roster. Im not in league two yet and i cant resign the people i have, i cant imagine what its gonna be like having 24 ppl to resign instead. Not spending money anymore or recommending this game to anyone unless something about this is done

Where to start. Everything you do in this game quickly leads you down a path to needing to spend money. You rarely get stars, however they are needed to get better players, you even have to spend them to bid on players. Of course these cost money if you want an impactful amount. Contract negotiations almost always go unsuccessful for several rounds, well each “negotiation” costs a star. Sure you can buy A player with cash. I mean A literally, you can get one player with cash only and they are usually only good for putting toward an elite player to lower their cost. I know it’s pitched as a free to play game but honestly you’ll only be able to get to level 10-11 before the teams you’re playing and unbeatable. I’ve also encountered multiple times where I am out of energy and watch a video to gain more only to be told AFTER the video plays fully that I am all out of rewards for the day. So you still make your ad revenue but I get nothing.

Once your in higher levels and have offense and defense unlocked it’s harder to keep up with player contracts.

They moved a ton of players to Top Players and raised the cost to acquire them by a lot.

They raised the cost to buy money and said it was a “bug”. Money is extremely hard to come by when your trying to train 6 players.

They added a delay on watching ad for coins. Before you could just do 50 in a day and than it would stop you till next day. Now it’s 5 coins than an hour blackout.

Everything they are doing is to milk you of your money.

I don’t mind supporting an app and often spend money but when you start nickel and diming your fan base to death your going to lose eventually.

The bundles they sell for $14 that have a player, money, gold and power up are ok sometimes. You can’t push and hold to see player stats which is shady and the power ups get used right away. You can’t select which power ups you want so they get wasted.

I used to buy the $1 8million money pack and since that change I haven’t spent a dime on money unless it was your exclusive limited time bundles because those are only one worth it. I’m sure you will start lowering the amount of money you get from those bundles soon when you look at statistics and see people only buy those now.

I played tournament after tournament and kept getting cheated out of my coins. Upgrading players is a joke and you spend tons of money for a 1% increase in their rating. Player has to be out of your lineup to train and upgrade so with 1 QB how do you take him out of the lineup to train?? Auctions are boring and slow and players are way overpriced. No strategy what so ever to the game, you can’t even pick the positions of the players on your team. I literally have my OL, QB, like 3 WR’s, a TE and another TE I’m guessing is my HB. I wasn’t given a HB so I don’t know. It doesn’t say WR1 WR2 or TE1 TE2. Have no clue how you know is in what position. Was looking for a good game where I can just put a roster together and train players and work out different coaching strategies and put together an All time great team of players from any era in the nfl. This was not it.

I was looking for game then I found NFL Manager 19 and I love football and I wanted to give it a shot but then I started playing for a hour and I started getting bored I played for like one time a day for 10 minutes now I am thinking of deleting it guys come on you have to know that the players cost to much and If I wanted to even have a ok team I would need to spend at lest 20 dollars a week seriously the players just keep dropping in rating so I went from a ok team to a horrible team in the description it says you draft a team in this game you need to spend 20 REAL DOLLARS to get maybe 3 players I want. I really want to like this game I really do If you change some things I will keep it I will keep for a month and if I don’t see a update I am deleting it. Thanks hope things improve.

It’s not a real simulation. The game is a tap to win game, when your doing franchise battles it’s not even about what your team is. It’s more about tap to win. Games start between 6am. Yes that early, and 6pm. The game has no true simulation feels. Besides pay to win. Even then I’m franchise battles other players gain more and more points while you maybe get a +16 or 18. But the other player grows by 50’s or 100. Their is no chatting in your league,
Your teams rank doesn’t even factor in either as while you’re playing the only thing that matters for your team star power is just normal “play game.”

For those that try it. You’ll find out that it’s not really worth it as whatever you’ll do you’ll lose and some matches you want be anywhere near close to winning. The percentage in franchise is fake and inaccurate. If it’s not 50/50 or going your way then you’ll lose. Doesn’t tell you stats scores or anything. Just waits until a player Tae himself to victory.

Pathetic

Huge disappoint overall. The bonus ads are ridiculous, one of the major advertisers shows the ad will take 30 seconds but it actually takes 45 by adding 15 additional seconds that don’t show on the timer. It’s a juvenile, spammy gimmick ploy and I can’t believe NFLPA has associate themselves with advertisers of that caliber.

The gameplay is OK, nothing flashy but where it counts the game completely misses.

It can cost a lot of money both in game and real dollars - and when you have to let a player go that you paid quite a bit for you get absolutely nothing for him. Zero. Nada. NOTHING AT ALL for compensation.

All game and real money is gone.

With all of the made up names I find it hard to believe that this is an official game of the NFLPA. And last, there are hardly any options for gameplay. There are about 15 things you can do in the game, then play and grow, and get rid of your players and get nothing for it.

The game is an insult to gamers as it takes a lot and gives back very, very little.

So I’ll be honest and as fair as possible. It’s good in the aspect where you can create a dream team. Another great aspect is that we (as managers) have a budget to get players. That’s as positive as I can go at this time.

Here are the bad parts. It’s all LUCK based and misses any elements of the actual game (it shows two helmets and a score). There’s no amazing players! Where is Julio Jones, Aaron Rodgers, Ezekiel Elliot, Tom Brady, Gronk, and NO DEFENSE TEAM!??!? The auction is ridiculous and expensive. The PAY TO WIN aspect and ADVERTISEMENTs are everywhere!

There’s a lot to fix so the team needs to get on it. Or else this game is dead soon...

So I think this game is great. It’s fun winning games, getting your favorite NFL players, and being able to manage a team. However, I would like better statistics after you play each game. I don’t want 14 carries for every person. I’d like to see the runs, more specific stats, and maybe a slower game. If you showed the important plays, like in FIFA, that would make the game ten times better. I’m not sure if the developers have thought about it, but it would be cool if they set up trades, not just bids. Trading would make the game much more fun for people.

Unique manager game. Many ways to play, your past coed team can gather with other fans of the (BROWNS!) And battle other franchises in a season format. Or play individual seasons. Only problem is, although you can grow your team free. Some buy super teams. Some form of a cap with still the ability to buy things (so they do make money) But teams have to work with a cap, would be much cooler. If so it would be a 4 or 5 star. Plus im not really sure on how these 100 game events work. Instead of full team events. Its choose 4 position players and a QB, or something odd like that. Instead every game mode should be your full team. The rest of the modes are. Id like to see some more something to how the game plays out or more realistic stats. I have my star wide receiver as the RB, and RB as the WR is stats? And hopefully each game of the real season drastically changes the stats of your players. Making picking player during the NFL depend on good scouting more. The best thing I wish you could do,,, would be if you rid a player. That player goes into the bid pool. Showing games still on contract etc, etc. And you got the money from that free agent you rid.

I have been trying to play in a tournament, but keep getting froze out by errors.

The concept is great, building a team is great. However, game play is horrid. This probably should not have been released yet, I spent hours in a tournament only to be frustrated. The tourney format needs to be changed as I would get several hundred points and move up only 1 spot. It is long and tedious and makes me dislike what could be a great game. When I first started I was going to recommend it to friends, cannot do that at this point.

Also, It takes genius level to send a complaint to tech support. Y password which I used seconds before, was voided out. Very very frustrated and may quit game, even though it has some great things going.

Game concept and graphics are great! The grind for people who don’t put money into games is not bad compared to most. The one thing I will say is you need to get your update schedule and franchise games schedule fixed. For the last 2 weeks we have had maintenance 25 minutes into the contest. This is so annoying I went from playing daily to expecting to not be able or wanting to play anymore due to the game being down. Maybe turn off franchise games while updates are occurring so you don’t lose games unnecessarily.

It’s a solid game all around but to keep up with the game itself and your opponents you have to spend money and there should be better ways to earn more cash and coins without having to spend real money because before you know it you already spend $100 in a day trying to get your cash and coins up because doing jobs are only giving you half a million or less cash and then other things are giving you no more than 20 coins which is not at all enough to keep up with competition.

This game is just as advertised. You’re a GM, and you handle behind the scene facets of football operations. I’d like for a few open actions to be explained better. They have you go through a few selections, and give vague explanations as to what’s being done. Whenever completing an action always take advantage of seeing a video; if for no other reason than to increase the reward what you receive. Cash, coins, and energy are paramount to this game. So, try to manage everything to the best of your ability.

Why are players who are rested on a week 17 game being docked so many points because they didn’t play, when they didn’t need to? Why are hurt players being docked so many points? If players who are hurt for only a week or two, or three, being docked 20+ points per week due to injury, but players who went out on IR 10 weeks earlier aren’t being docked the same kind of experience for games missed...I LOVE this game, but the rating system and the addition and deletion of skill points is ridiculous...

What I mean by time in app being short is that the energy is gone in a minute. With how much games/tournament cost to play and with how fast they are completed you have nothing else to do but check FootballManager every hour to play 10 games then nothing for an hour. Improving players and jobs are same thing just start it and forget about it.

Other big problem is the start screen can’t be silenced, when you have to reopen FootballManager constantly it gets annoying with constant interruptions.

No feedback section in app either, so if you catch any problems can’t tell anybody.

There are some good things and some not so good things.

Pros

*Real player performance matters for player value.
*Market system is easy and rewarding.
* New high priority free agents are coming out daily since launch.

Cons

*Simplistic game simulation.
* Players value does not decrease when playing out of position.
* Tournament mode is redundant. Tasks require you to gold star the previous tournament before progressing, even if you gold starred on your first try. If you don’t want to redo it you then have to spend currency.
* Player value is based on real life last game + the players entire last season.

The value system makes players who were injured in all of 2017 unviable. For example, players like Andrew Luck or any other number of Pro Bowlers will never be good due to having half of their value being 0 from not playing in 2017.

All in all the game has potential. I do enjoy playing but improvements could really help this game reach a larger audience.

You can sit there and grind as much as u want but there top notch game system will have u lose to a team half ur rank consistently. When you tell them that they ask for examples and than when u give them multiple screenshots all the sudden you never hear from them. Save ur time and especially money and don’t deal with these failures in business.

A lot of the time, I can’t really play Madden for the PS4 a lot because I need to go to the store, or something along those lines. FootballManager fixes that. I’m a huge fan of playing Fantasy Draft mode in Madden, and then simulating instead of actually playing. It’s a weird way to play, but I love it. So, I came to FootballManager, which helped me play that anywhere. Overall, big thumbs up to this game.
