I have never written a review about an app, but this app has my full approval. As someone on antidepressants and finding that a lot of visual erotica is male dominant and less on female pleasure, this app has helped me reconnect with myself. Sure it’s easy to reach for a toy and be done in 2 minutes, but that’s not nearly as enjoyable as making it a journey. In fact Dipsea has made it possible for me to achieve completion without a toy because the auditory visuals are so well done—there’s room for imagination still but a lot of wonderful guidance.
Also for the folks complaining about $47? Watching an ad before or after would take you out of the mood. Think of all the work that goes into these productions; $47/year is nothing. That’s a four hour shift as a cashier these days. So many annual apps are well over $120. Art costs money and this is well worth it.

I found a link to Dipsea via Instagram and spent about a week reading comments and the responses posted between this app and their community. On the same day I decided to download it to take a peek, the postings were about the limited free access until April 30th in response to COVID-19 Shelter/Stay At Home protocols and it instantly made me feel better about Dipsea and what it offers.
I like the options to pay monthly as desired and the economical once a year for some truly amazing and satisfying content. There’s been some real thought and science put into these offerings and I’m a fan on every level.
Being a strong, single woman who is very comfortable and in touch with my sexuality, I’m filled with joy at an app that matches my style. In today’s awkward and exhausting dating pool, this also helps me focus on what is meaningful to me and gives fresh ideas and comfort.

It’s kinda tough to get around. I finally found settings and account hidden on the stories tab. But I can’t find a way to remove stories from the queue, or listen to the 2nd and 3rd stories in a suggested set… little mechanical things like that kinda spoil the mood. The FAQ are mostly about how much it costs and how to pay not how to use Dipsea . And the only way to get help is to actually bother a real person. A very nice and helpful real person, but am I really the only person who needs directions? Wouldn’t be the first time. Love the stories. Love that I can customize them. Love that I am actually learning done things about myself. Love Dipsea . Just wish I had some idea how to play more than one story at a time without going through the same group in the same order. Not a deal breaker. Still subscribing and listening. For me, the content is great enough to win out.

Dipsea has saved my life in many ways. Being queer, coming from the church, and experiencing sexual abuse lead to a very very disconnected and traumatized relationship with my body. I have never been able to touch myself without having a panic attack unless there is some distraction. Dipsea has guided me home.. I will write another review one day that is more detailed. But having the options to choose from audio erotica and guided sensual deep breathing or meditation has made me feel so safe. They take the entirety of your experience into account. Though you can get off quick here if you want, it’s not designed for that. It’s designed for deep connection with yourself and your desires. It’s totally opposite of the porn industry. Dipsea is freeing and empowering. I recommend it to every single one of my friends.

I absolutely LOVE this app! I am 42 years young, married for 17 years, have two kids, am highly educated, & love sex. I still feel pretty young & still get hit in by much younger men fairly often 😉👍 & actually find myself now, at 42, with a stronger sex drive than my (once highly sexual) partner.
I find this app to be extremely helpful to use solo with a toy (for instance, when I’m horny & my husband doesn’t seem to be or we are fighting & I still want sex but he doesn’t). But the best way fir me to use it when all is well and I anticipatenthat we will likely be having sex that night as a means to “prime my engine” so it doesn’t take nearly a s much time to reach climax with my husband. Which I’m guessing (although he would never say it) that he appreciates.
It seems to be common knowledge that most women require a significantly longer period of “ foreplay” to “get there,” as opposed to our male counterparts, who seem to be bane to take one quick look at us naked, have an erect on and be ready to go. No fair! That

this app has something for everyone and I wish I had this years and years ago. The erotic stories are just the tip of the iceberg. And I love that they are separated by level of eroticism and types of topics people are into. But the inclusion of professionals to teach you and talk to you about the origins of certain desires you may have, how it’s okay to feel certain things, how self-love and self-pleasure works, how mental health needs to be nurtured, how self-esteem can be garnered, how to pleasure a partner (a must for us gals DEEP in the celibacy game and hoping to get back out there one day), is a complete game-changer. It has been a balm to my anxiety and lack of sleep with its simple Sleep Stories and Bedtime Stories settings. Truly an app creatively designed for all of us, I cannot recommend it enough.

After posting my original review I got a message from the developers. I tried Dipsea again later and had a much better experience. I will leave the original one up.
I am blind, and was excited to try Dipsea,since the stories are audio, And therefore users don’t need a Photos or a video. Imagine my disappointment when I tried to download, and couldn’t even sign up. This is very disappointing, since a lot of erotic content is geared towards those were cited. If you fixed Dipsea, and made this work for those who are blind and use the iPhone features that are built for the blind, it would be a great product. The only reason I am not giving Dipsea a zero star rating, is because I love the concept and wish I could find more resources like it.

Update: I wanted to add that I really wish they’d add some kind of a warning or make some kind of a differentiation when dirty talk words like sl*t and wh**e are used. Not all dirty talk needs to involve degrading names for women. It has taken me out of the moment quite a few times.

Dipsea was good already but has improved enormously even within the first month of my signing up. They are constantly adding new material and I have to say I agree with a previous reviewer that good things cost money; I feel good supporting Dipsea because they are employing creatives and coming up with original materials weekly. Listening to these stories is so much more satisfying than anything heartless or mindless you can find for free online.

First off... I never leave reviews for anything and all I have to say is Dipsea is wonderful!! So classy and sexy all at the same time. I had never tried audio stories before but after seeing this on Instagram it sparked my interest! I signed up for the free trial and have been using it this week and boy did it blow my mind... it literally takes you into a fantasy that feels so real and will even give you ideas on what to bring into the bedroom with your partner! (Better than reading cosmo haha)
Dipsea is everything I didn’t know I need and more LOL and I Wouldn’t change a single thing about it and will be happy to pay once my trail is over!

I started using this app a while ago. I was looking for a sleep and meditation app to help me wind down and fall asleep. All the others are so expensive, so I tried a free trial. I never expected it to be as good as it was. The stories are steamy and quick. They provide fantasy for me. They help me sleep. The actual sleep sounds are great also. Rainstorms are my favorite.

But now something is wrong. Before when I added stories and sleep sounds to my queue, they would play automatically. Now they just play the current one and I have to hit play to move to the next story or soundscape. That defeats the purpose of why I’m using Dipsea . I tried deleting and reinstalling. I’m not sure if it’s Apple or this app but I’m going to have to discontinue use and cancel my subscription. That feature is why it worked for me. Frustrating.

I never leave reviews but after using Dipsea only once for some self love, I'm hooked. I was waiting for my boyfriend to come over and I had just gotten Dipsea so I thought I will test it out and see if it gets the motor running. How crap did it... There are so many different stories, with so many various sex acts. And it's not grotesque, it's subtle, and beautiful, and sexy, and it feels like real life because I can see myself in these stories. It's the perfect amount of fantasy. And it gives you the freedom to explore new paths for your sexuality to discover new things that you didn't even know could turn you on or that you didn't know you wanted. It's wonderful.

i downloaded Dipsea with high hopes, and quality wise i can't complain, the stories were (from the very small library whichvwas available for free) very well written and the audio is high quality.

now I'd like to get into the huge downside. Dipsea requires you to pay a hefty price to access its full library of stories, i would MUCH prefer that they put ads at the beginning and end of stories, or at least, if they'd like to keep Dipsea ad free (or have only a small amount of ads) they could have a system where you have the option of watching ads to unlock a story for a certain amount of time. i feel like these systems would make Dipsea more successful, as well as more user friendly.

Wowza - major credit to this app for bringing us the content we need!!! This is representation for female, femme, and queer sexuality, consent, pleasure, and fantasy. I am so thrilled that this intersection of tech and pleasure exists, because this is how access to safe, legal, and compensated porn comes to the table in a mainstream way. This is how the conversation begins!

In addition to this political and social sexual revolution, the creative direction is incredibly fulfilling to the imagination and body. Can’t believe they come up with new content every week, and hit it out of the park every time. I am ~satisfied~ to say the least. Keep it going, this app!

I love Dipsea! The quality of audio is outstanding and it’s extremely immersive, it has ALMOST everything. It’s great that it’s very lgbt inclusive, but what it’s really missing is something for plus size/fat babes and dudes. I wish there was at least one audio or series that focused on loving and praising a bigger body (especially since they have a whole active category). If they did Dipsea would be five stars and worth all the money but it’s definitely lacking in that area so if you don’t mind that and can look over it then get Dipsea. I mean the least they could do it make a cover art of a bigger body.

I hate writing negative reviews, but as someone who loves audio stimulation, this never hit the mark. I used Dipsea months ago and was only able to get off on 1 of the audios—this was the only audio where the guy didn’t finish in 30 seconds. I deleted the subscription, but desperately came back to it to see if they had anything I could work with. Waste of my money again. The scripts are very unnatural. And 30 seconds—this is not nearly enough time for a woman, unless on a steamy 5 min break at work. Drives me crazy how uncreative the writers are with female pleasure. I’m never turned on by these audios. It always sounds like the actors are in big, empty, white rooms. Very uncomfortable, awkward, and not stimulating in the least for me. I get off way more without Dipsea.

I’m someone who, for a variety of reasons, prefers listening to a lot of my media instead of watching or even reading it. In the case of media such as, well, this, being able to close my eyes and enjoy it is pretty nice. I do wish there was more content available from a (straight) male perspective (not something you’d generally hear, haha), as I don’t think the dozen or so stories available currently from the male perspective are worth the subscription price. However, I don’t blame the creators of Dipsea for primarily having a female perspective, given that there probably aren’t as many men such as myself who are interested in Dipsea .

I love that the stories and “listening in” scenes here all center women’s pleasure. I’ve never been that interested in porn because it felt degrading to watch. No thanks. But the this app stories are super sexy and let me embellish with my own imagination, bringing me into the scenes in a way that is very hot. The variety lets me learn more about what I like and don’t like, and the educational/wellness material is informative and empowering. The production quality is also impressive, making the whole experience immersive. You get what you pay for and this is a quality app. Definitely recommending to my women friends.

It’s as discreet and delightful as what you hide in your dresser. Lots of content with everything well categorized so you get exactly what you want at a length you want. Everything is in Dipsea so no ads or viruses, just a convenient place to save favorites or something you want to try later. Lets you enjoy what you like or explore outside your comfort zone in a safe empowering space. With a promotion it actually wasn’t pricey and super worth it regardless. I’ve never written an app review and certainly didn’t think I’d review an app like this but that’s how awesome this is!

COVID-19, and the effects that quarantine has had on me (weight gain, skin breakouts, depression, anxiety, etc) have only worsened the effects and made me feel more out of touch with my body than ever.

Enter this app! Dipsea is incredible. The stories are rich, humorous, beautifully crafted, and have amazing sound quality. I tend to find visual porn too aggressive and reading erotica can sometimes take too long (if you know what I mean) but this app removes all of those road blocks!

Each story is so transportive - especially the Him/Her + You ones that put you in the second person! AMAZING!

Additionally, the sexual health section of Dipsea is like therapy that you didn’t know you needed. It’s knowledgeable and empowering!

I never pay for apps and would have never before considered paying as much for one as this app but TRUST Dipsea has earned every penny and then some!

I’ve never wrote a review for any app. I’ve never even invested in an app like I have with this app. Dipsea is so empowering and really does have everything your heart desires at that moment. Tried my 1 week trial and I needed more! Perfect stories for right before bed, alone with a cup of tea or even with your partner in nonsexual, yet intimate and entertaining moments. Gotta pay to get the nitty gritty but I mean, these stories are the bomb and personalized! So realistic! I love most that the stories are raw, uncut, and real people speaking as if we’ve met before. Anyway, no need to think twice! Invest in this beautiful app!

I tried out the one week free trial and while the stories were good I didn’t feel like I wanted to spend $50 on Dipsea . However my alarm to cancel it didn’t go off so I’m now stuck paying $50 (for an app...) at once. I get that most monthly subscriptions make you enter in the payment info prior to signing up - which is dumb, they should let you sign up and just take away the content when the free trial period is over - but the fact that they don’t do monthly payments is ridiculous. Don’t sign up for the free trial unless you write reminders down everywhere to cancel. I understand the need to pay people for their work but I would much rather have adds or the option to buy no adds than pay $50 for an app. It’s my fault for not canceling but just a fair warning Dipsea is way too expensive and I would be cautious in signing up for the free trial like they urge you too in all of their replies so you don’t get stuck with a huge bill up front if you somehow forget.

I got many ads for Dipsea and eventually found myself wanting it. When I downloaded it the first day or so was absolutely spectacular. Dipsea could be been amazing. But for those less.. Er, expendable with their app payments, it doesn't do well. There's no option to watch ads to unlock stories and that's troubling. If you could add this feature in, you could not only make a lot in as revenue but have even higher reviews (as Dipsea is amazing for the accessible stories and the quality and story plots are undeniably the best I've ever heard in my lifetime which is why I dislike writing such a bad review). I love Dipsea, and I'd be more than happy to give you a full five-star rating if you add the option to view ads rather than pay.

I think an earlier review said it best, I’ve never felt my sexuality respected to and catered to before and it’s so beautiful and relieving. So much of porn is catered to men and it’s amazing to feel like their is a product that exists for us.

Thank you for seeing this gap in the market and creating something for us! Easiest $50 I’ve ever spent. Dipsea ’s interface is beautiful, the content is beautiful, 10/10 for me.

I’m new to Dipsea & have only heard the free stories. I liked what I heard & I’d love to subscribe, EXCEPT I don’t yet hear enough voices of color - especially Black voices. There’s a great search function where you can select a range of preferences, but as a Black person, I’m doubtful the narrators of most of the stories tagged as “Black Voices” are actually black voices. The cadence doesn’t match, the culture doesn’t match, the language isn’t ours...it’s just OFF. I can tell the story with Freddie is the most authentic (of the free versions). The story called Deep Tissue is tagged as Black Voices, but that’s a blatant Nope. I’m hoping the paid version is more diverse & authentic. I’d like to hear true voices & perspectives of all cultures. Thanks!

Love this app! The quality and production of the audio stories are top-notch - they do a great job of making the listener really feel and experience the stories as if they were really there with all the little details. Great way for listeners to get inspired/empowered/turned-on with a little fantasy break from every-day life.

Seen some comments about the subscription option - i would relate this to audiobooks (which aren’t free) - think of this app as a constant supply of well-written short audio stories which I think is well worth it.
