Transcribe Speech to Text AI Reviews

Downloaded it to find that there is no speech to text without purchasing Premium. So decided to splurge without the opportunity to try first. There is a three day trial after agreeing to purchase. Still was going ahead and purchase - yearly best deal. So I hit three different times always to get an Error message and to contact support. Big surprise - no info on contacting support. That is three strikes. Only tapped a star because would not let me send without tapping one - really NO STAR!! Understand medium rating.

How many sets of rates can you have?? I’ve counted 13 so far. How the heck does anyone know what they’re purchasing? And there are no significant details to compare pkgs. Not only is that senseless but it is DECEPTIVE. There are 7 rates in the subscription details, 2 rates in TranscribeSpeechtoText Store, each of which have 2 sets of rates when you click on them. I had a free trial which I CANCELLED because I have no idea what the heck you are charging for what!

I opted for the premium version of TranscribeSpeechtoText due to its impressive transcription accuracy, accommodating various accents of my colleagues. However, I’m facing a problem where the transcription halts if my phone goes into sleep mode during the process. When I reactivate my phone, it seems to be recording, but doesn’t continue transcribing unless I end the current session and start a new one. A potential improvement could be updating TranscribeSpeechtoText to keep the phone active during ongoing recording and transcription. Without this enhancement, TranscribeSpeechtoText becomes ineffective for my needs, potentially leading to an unnecessary expenditure.

I just wrote about 500 words and without touching the screen or keyboard, the text vanished. I have tried to retrieve the text but it is gone. This was my second note that I wrote on TranscribeSpeechtoText but at this time, it will be my last. I cannot write ideas down and watch them disappear off the screen. One good note so far is that the text to speech is pretty accurate. If the disappearing text is corrected, then I will return using TranscribeSpeechtoText since I just purchased the lifetime plan.

Infeelmlike TranscribeSpeechtoText is attempting to be minimalistic but is not quite there. Early Dec paid for 1 year on iPhone but iPad version will not recognize this and sync. Same Apple ID and all. Easy too losenunsaved work if you leave TranscribeSpeechtoText and fail to save. I get it that saving is importaint but this is uncommon. Very little to no instruction, tips, FAQs nothing. It should be intuitive. First company to make using an app to transcribe the super easily text or email it's content, say, while driving will be the Victor! I love how googles dictation is better then the companies that charge a several hundred for a big ol windows software package. I'd be angry I had a disability dependant on voice to text. With somemwork. Penman could be the best. Just not yet.

I really enjoy the look and feel of TranscribeSpeechtoText , amazing tools and really helps with organization and note taking. However, whenever I leave TranscribeSpeechtoText sometimes the current note I’m working on does not save, or deletes itself. It’s frustrating when I’m trying to copy notes for a project or website only for it to not be saved.

I used it for the first time and was surprised Thera was no punctuation in what I had dictated.

I use TranscribeSpeechtoText to write, and it’s been great. I love the organization and all that, but with the new update I almost can’t stand it. It’ll randomly kick me out of TranscribeSpeechtoText when I’m typing and delete the last line or the last few words. It also closes TranscribeSpeechtoText if I try to delete a note, but the first thing is more of a concern for me. I’m really hoping this bug gets fixed soon, because I simply adore TranscribeSpeechtoText otherwise.

Nothing worse than losing my notes... With Penman I removed a unnecessary note... TranscribeSpeechtoText has stopped working suddenly and I found that two of my notes including the note that I removed gone... Gone forever

I’m using TranscribeSpeechtoText for my university homework and i should say that TranscribeSpeechtoText made my life so easy. now while i’m talking, i can covert it to text easily.I do love the UI of TranscribeSpeechtoText and TranscribeSpeechtoText icon too.😍

I’ve replaced Penman as my day to day note taking app and I should say I love it. Wasn’t expecting so many accents to support in speech to text too if you want to take notes faster I highly recommend testing in app speech to text.

Get the premium version and unleash true potential of multiple languages like I’m using
I think it has more than 90% accuracy which is better than many other similar apps

I wrote a review a while back about TranscribeSpeechtoText & just completely erased it! I am now so pleased with TranscribeSpeechtoText I don’t want the negativity of my previous review anywhere to be seen!
Since smart came along & I got my first I have been on the look out for “The Best” app to make my notes & after downloading probably hundreds of apps I believe I have found my favorite. TranscribeSpeechtoText has almost everything! I love all the pretty colors of the books I love being able to put them in a book that helps me Organize everything and blv me I need all the help I can get!! I love that the background can be different colors! The only thing I wish we could do is use our photos as a book cover & I wish there was more Fonts! I’m sure in the upgrade there’s probably more. Maybe one day I’ll be able to get that but for now I am very happy with TranscribeSpeechtoText! I’ve told everyone in my writing class about TranscribeSpeechtoText! To the creator or creators thank you for making TranscribeSpeechtoText! Finally I can get some wk done!

So,
I love also doing physical writing in notebooks, have my own style of cursive writing etc..
I’ve very typically had a difficult time writing in front of a computer or laptop as opposed to writing in my notebook, the problem would then be I’d have to still type everything into digital later
And TranscribeSpeechtoText absolutely solved that problem for me 😊💖

In fact I’m definitely like 20-30x more productive with my writing and sorta life in general because I always have this accessible to take down notes, work on a story idea, or create a checklist of things I need to do / want to do type thing.

They just had the deal of the premium for like 8.98$ , and I just bought it because I like TranscribeSpeechtoText so much & wanted to support it.

Plus the Face ID lock support is kinda cool,
Would I ever need it? Maybe?
I don’t have my screen on an autolock time, so it definitely is an extra level of privacy.
Idk if you wanted to have a writing place to vent without someone you live with snooping I think the Face ID feature is really good for that maybe, but the other person snooping would probably be the primary problem 😅.

Anyway, 💖 TranscribeSpeechtoText and highly recommend it.

This is a pretty cool app, I like to take notes and write short stories. TranscribeSpeechtoText is most convenient when I have ideas while driving and don’t feel like pulling over to write them down.

I really like how accurate TranscribeSpeechtoText is and how well the text editor works. One thing is for certain, I can never go back to using the default voice recognition software on the standard keyboard. Good app, good update.

This is one of those apps that you come across every now and then that completely changes the way you interact with your phone.

I can’t tell you the last time I used the microphone feature on my keyboard without being either frustrated or disappointed with the resulting entry. Penman does a great job in processing what you say.

TranscribeSpeechtoText totally changed the way that I type and text, I hope they come out with a stand-alone keyboard that can replace my standard Apple keyboard solely due to how effective their speech to text software is and the impressive features of the native text editor.

In my opinion, this isn’t one of those apps you don’t want to pass up. If I remember correctly, they offer a free trial, it’s worth a shot.

I have been using TranscribeSpeechtoText since the new update and i’ve gotta say i really like the ai actions specifically in taking note and them summarizing them. Sometimes i even use actions designed for social networks. So far it has helped me with my college notes and posts that i wanna optimize for my social networks. Also the speech to text system is pretty handy too definitely give it a try.

I’m starting to use the Transcribe app, and really like it! Lots of useful features!

I have one suggestion for you to consider. Using the highlighting tool on the toolbar is cumbersome, when I need to highlight many text items. I have to re-select the color every time. My idea is to use a tap-and-hold to select to color. Then each time I want to use highlighting, I would simply tap on the tool, and it would use the most recent settings. This would make multiple highlightings very fast and easy.

This is the best speech-to-text app on the market. Very easy to use and accurate. I have had no problems using it whatsoever. I enjoy TranscribeSpeechtoText so much that I completely stopped using the original speech-to-text feature on the phone and I have only been using this. It is significantly better than the speech-to-text feature that originally came with my iPhone.

TranscribeSpeechtoText has helped in so many ways. It’s a huge help note-taking in my classes and it has made my classes 100% easier to follow along with the lectures. I also use it at work, taking doctors notes in a medical office. I even use it to keep my shopping list!

User-friendly, visually beautiful, easy to use, and truly an enjoyable experience. Especially since the update.

I can say me almost like TranscribeSpeechtoText I can easily create notebooks I like those cool gradients and the new dark theme I always pretty much use speech to text take my notes faster than before really appreciate this now,
