Although this game has the look and feel of shuffleboard, there are a few things that in my opinion need to be addressed. First, if after the first level you’re playing against the AI , no matter what you do, 9 times out of 10 it will always out shoot you. Secondly, I understand and agree that as you progress the play should be more challenging but if you’re playing casually you should have the option to choose your level of difficulty. Even if you’ve gone to the next level you should have the option of revisiting a lower level. If these issues could be addressed this could be an excellent game.
Game and graphics are excellent except that you have to throw the puck way way way waaaayyyyy too hard to even make it 3/4of the way down!!!!!!!!!!'! Like your playing on a bare board with absolutely no silicone or wax at all! Having to thrust the puck so hard makes accurate aiming impossible. Please fix so the puck slides like the real game!!!!
It might be good if the game was played according to the rules of shuffleboard. Game only plays one frame at a time. Should play to 15 or 21. Puck should be completely within a scoring zone to receive that many points. Only one player should receive points during each frame. Wish it was more realistic.
The scoring is completely wrong. Nothing like actual shuffleboard rules but otherwise it’s pretty good. You can’t get hangars, doesn’t go to 21, the you get the higher point zone even if the puck is only part way in and all pucks on the board are tallied which is wrong.
The game mechanics are pretty good and realistic sonic they fix that it would be a lot better.
Well done! Please consider adding a second rule option:
Scoring
-Only one player or team scores points per round.
-The player whose leading puck is farthest down the board (farthest away from the players) is the winner of the round. Only winning pucks beyond your opponent’s pucks are counted. The winner’s score is then totaled.
-To score points, the puck must be in the 1, 2, 3 zone that is between the farthest foul line and the far end of the board. Pucks sitting on a zone line count as the lesser value.
-A winning puck that extends over the far edge of the board is a ‘hanger’ and counts as 4 points.
-Pucks in the gutter and those knocked off are forfeited and count as zero points.
-If the leading pucks for each team are tied then no score is awarded.
2 player game - The game ends with the first player to reach a total of 15 points.
4 player game - The game ends with the first team to reach a total of 21 points.
I like the realistic features. Playing the computer gets a bit boring though, as you will lose most of the time. I don’t want to pay to see the more advanced levels either. People with iPhones can play against one another, which I like best. Other people will make the same mistakes as you would, which makes it more fun.
I know this would take work on your end. But, if you could offer a friends option whereby you could play with a buddy and where each could have an identical screen(like poker). Even with a tournament feature(maybe best of 10). Pay for it with ads during the game. Or a small fee for that availability.
Thanks
The way the scoring is made is different as to what I grew up playing. Each game was played to 21 and scouts was owls made by whoever was furthest to the end of the board. Scoring was 3,2,1, and if someone had weight or the puck hang over the edge it was worth 4 points. I you can come up with a format to include that I will give you 5 stars. Still all in all pretty good realistic game. One more thing, if you can add sprinkling wax on the board and after doing so make the weight go faster then offer time slow down you might then have a sellable product. Thanks!
More realistic feel than most games of this type such as pinball and pool. Realistic difficulty level as well. You can win with a well played game, but you pay for mistakes! (And that's a good thing!)
It definitely takes a lot of skill and patience to place the puck at the right spot or left spot which ever you’re aiming for but it’s definitely worth playing
I play this game far more than any other. It’s great to put tunes on with and some out. Very relaxing. And I especially enjoy the absence of ads. I honestly wouldn’t play if I was interrupted by them.
Very challenging to beat even CPU available levels let alone on the master levels that cost $1.99. The big plus is WiFi for two player games. I wish they had more puck colors instead of red and blue.
The game has a really good look, and feel. But it would be much better if you could play against another player, and instead of AI.
But either way… for a free game… it plays very nice! Well done!
Very challenging and requires finesse I don’t win often but when I do it’s a feeling of accomplishment. I’m unsure how many challenges I will get if I pay the extra $1.99, but I do miss advancing since I’ve reached the top unpaid level. Best of all - it’s a great game with no ads!
Yes this is a hard fun game can be a mutter pucker and very difficult to keep the puck on the table. Exciting to see if your puck can actually knock your opponent’s puck off the table or and see if your puck can stay on a number w/o going back to zero. If you can’t , just scream pucket or puck you what ever floats your puck. I am having fun with it.
Many years ago, I was raised in Florida and enjoyed playing real shuffleboard with the “old timers”. “Shuffleboard Master” is a GREAT app. It has all the features and options needed to be a very realistic and enjoyable game. The replay feature is neat. It provides an easy closeup look of the court to help make some tight shots. Thanks for bringing back some good memories!
I have played other shuffle board apps and this is by far the most responsive and realistic one I have played. I was an avid player in college and made a lot of money from the locals who were very good and actually learned from them and this reminds me of that. Just missing the pitchers of beer. Oh wait, I can fix that ✌️
The level of competition against the AI in this game is incredible. Even after several months of playing I find it difficult to get back to back wins. Most games get boring after a while for the simple reason that they become to easy to beat. If are looking for a challenging game that you can come back to day after day… This is the one!
Brilliant! Some reviews say this game is hard. It is but it’s bery FAIR! If you pay attention and you actually build your skills (there are many to master) you can beat this game. The game will actually coach you to getting better as it will make you make the correct shot. If you do you have a good chance in beating the CPU. If not, you’ll likely lose. Isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be? Be good or be gone!
The idea that this game has no online multiplayer, rankings, achievements and leagues is a travesty. Hard to put down, but it would be impossible to stop with multiplayer.
