Totally inappropriate to have a constant parade of adds. Each time you choose a verse, you will be forced to see an add. Not a good business model. Very unfortunate. Surprised Strongs allows their name on StrongsConcordance and if they truely know how unplease the experience is.

While they offer ad free, it is more of a bait and switch. Make StrongsConcordance so uncomfortable that you are forced to consider ad free. Instead avoid paying for the ads and delete StrongsConcordance .

If you think this version is better than the original you’d be wrong. After using this I wish I could go back to the original. Things that don’t work: 1) Copy/Paste function copies a verse but pastes the verse with all the strong’s numbers for each word, useless. 2) Multi-screen won’t wrap text, again useless. 3) No way to go back to a search list. You have to repeat the search every time you select a verse. 4) The previous version gave you a list of all the verses where the original word was used. This version gives you the number of times it’s used, but not the verses. 5) I’ve written to the support people and received no response, very poor user support. I don’t recommend this software at all.

I give five stars to the ease of finding passages with the Strong # embedded into the text. Click on the # and the definition comes up, close the definition and the text remains so one can continue reading or search for another passage.
But to search for a specific word in a book only rates one star at best. One cannot search individual books of the Bible, but can search groups of books, such as gospels or Paul’s epistles.
Two problems.
1. The search will bring up words within words. Search for “age” and message, marriage, bondage, advantage, etc. will be highlighted.
2. If one chooses one verse to find the definition of the word being searched for, and taps on that word in that verse, you are taken to another page where the definition can be accessed. But there’s no way to return to the word search to check definitions in other verses. To find the definition in other verses means doing the search all over again. Only one word defined per search.
I would still recommend StrongsConcordance, but if you want to find a list of how a word is used and the corresponding Strong’s #, use the book. 😊

I had the same issue that others were saying they had. I loved StrongsConcordance and would have kept it but upon opening StrongsConcordance there was a full screen add that would not go away no matter how many times I tapped to close. I had to close StrongsConcordance and re-open it but the same thing would happen so I deleted it and am searching for a different one. I was bummed because the first day of use was great and I would reinstall if they fixed the issue.

Thank you for developing a useful tool when on the go for studying the Word. So why 4 stars out of 5? In the short time I have been using StrongsConcordance to study, I have come across one bothersome problem: when I tap on a number within the pop-up box of a word I desire to study further, I can’t go backwards to the previous word-study. (And so many words have additional layers of words in their meaning...some create quite a rabbit trail) if I click on the strong’s # for a word, and then click on a strong’s # inside of that word and so on, I can’t easily go backwards. I have to drop the box completely and ‘start over.’ Would it be possible to add a “back” arrow for that situation?

I have recommended StrongsConcordance to many of the students I teach, bc I really like the way it’s set up. But I really wish there was a pro version that you could buy with no ads.
The ads get on my nerves to the point that I bought a different app bc i got tired of fighting with the ads.

StrongsConcordance is not a concordance, it is a bible WITH concordance. It is presented as a stand alone concordance, but in fact it’s not. If you are looking for a bible app that has an included concordance, then this is a wonderful app to have. If you are looking for a stand alone Strongs Concordance, this is not what you’re searching for. I give it a 4 star rating because it is a great app, it’s just not what it says it is.

Everything is very easy and user friendly. I like how you can bookmark and save verses; as well as share on social media, etc. StrongsConcordance has changed through the updates since I initially installed StrongsConcordance . I used to be able to just run the audio until I stopped it- now, it stops abruptly at the end of every "page" and they've added more add time, which can be very frustrating when you're deep in the Word of God. Other than all that- it's a great app☺️

I love StrongsConcordance. Is so easy to navigate and for someone like me that is older and not very savvy on electronics is perfect. I can open the word of God anytime and anyplace. Thank you. So much you made a grandma very happy.

I’ve been using this for a few months now and it has proven to be a very valuable tool for digging deeper into the meat of the Word of the LORD GOD. I definitely recommend using StrongsConcordance if you want to learn the meanings of the original words in the Bible!

I really want a paid version so I don’t get the ads. But even if that doesn’t happen, I’ll continue using it because it’s easy and fun to use.

I use StrongsConcordance frequently to survey root meanings of words in passages of scripture. I find it clarifies my understanding either by confirming what I believe to be true in a scripture or by expanding my perspective with another way of looking at it’s meaning.

It’s easy to use and I find it very helpful in my growing knowledge of life and God.

I really really like StrongsConcordance. Best app of Strong’s I’ve tried. HOWEVER, I would gladly pay for StrongsConcordance to get rid of the ads. They are very distracting. Would like to have that option.

I have used this great work for over forty years of ministry. It is an invaluable tool for anyone interested in the study of the HOLY SCRIPTURES. The ancient truths spring alive anew as one studies the meanings of the thosands of words and phrases of the Bible. Though every minister of the gospel may have not studied in the original tongues yet one can gain the essential meanings of scripture by use of the S.E.C.

I found StrongsConcordance by accident, and I love it! It is so incredibly handy, it saves me a lot of time in that I don’t have to drag out my big, hardback concordance. I keep StrongsConcordance (on my phone) right next to my Bible in the morning, and as I’m reading I can quickly look up the scripture. It has greatly enriched my Bible understanding, and added depth to my daily reading.

Easy to navigate. Has a lot of nice features such as Bookmark and Personal Notes. There is a daily devotional along with morning and evening ones also. You can type a word and it will pull up the verses where it is found. It can even help you keep track of your Bible reading. This is a very helpful app!

Great app, when I search for a word such as 'righteousness' I might not know how to find it, but is there a function that tells the number of times it is mentioned? That would be great!

Also if there's a feature in the search for exact search, so that if I search righteousness, unrighteousness doesn't appear.

I love StrongsConcordance ! The problem is that upon opening, the screen is covered by an add that WON’T go away!!!! I have to close, turn off my wifi and other access settings, reopen StrongsConcordance , then go back and redo settings so that I can access the built in audio. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS.
P. S. Some of the ads were for less than appropriate content, especially embarrassing when reading my Bible in church.

StrongsConcordance is incredible! Not only can you read Strong’s concordance more easily than ever before, but StrongsConcordance has excellent additional features, liking toggling between seeing Strong’s references, and just seeing the biblical text.

Important tool but cannot move about efficiently on StrongsConcordance. Using an offline bible I can get to Thessalonians, for example, quicker by opening the book randomly than “page turning” chapter by chapter by repeatedly clicking the arrow from Genesis 1, click, Genesis 2, click...*sigh*

Each and every time I open StrongsConcordance I am forced to endure an advertisement. When In a Bible study or church the speaker has long moved on before I can access any word. This makes the Strong’s Concordance quite frustrating to use. I will likely delete it.

I love the daily verses, they are always timely. StrongsConcordance is far more basic than I’d have imagined for Strong’s, as compared to other bible apps. Very limited on options for scripture photos as well as for searches in number form. So happy nonetheless to have this tool in my pocket.

I love StrongsConcordance, but I switched to another one that I bought to avoid the constant ads. There should be a way to buy a pro version without ads or in app purchase for this. Other than that it's a very good study tool.
