Paid the .99 cents and the thing didn’t even work. It kept scanning my floor over and over but didn’t actually do anything. Ended up downloading another app instead that was free and did a way better job.

CatchSantaAR idea is fancy. But the output is junk. I paid $ for milk and cookie rendering and tried others as well. The video comes out super glitchy. Not usable. What a waste or money and time. Plenty of better apps out there.

Cheaper to do it yourself with your phone or tablet. Santa would never be caught in a video or picture in anyone’s home. Parents have only caught a partial sleeve and hand of Santa. Get some red felt and put it around your lower arm and wrist. Glue some cotton balls to the red felt around the wrist. Record a video that only shows the area of your arm that has the red felt and cotton balls on it…exposing your hand in the video putting gifts underneath the tree, in stockings, taking the cookies and milk, in your own home. Best video parents can make for their child/children.

This was a waste of money. I try CatchSantaAR without the purchase and could not position Santa where I wanted him. I thought well maybe I have to purchase the videos so it can work better, waste of money no matter where I scan and position him, it didn’t come out right. If you make him a bit taller he comes out like he lost 200 lbs. his voice sounds like he has Covid. I played with it for 1 hour and gave up on this. I wish I can get reimburse, because this one is not worth it.

I saw this had a great review. But when I went to “scan the floor,” it just seemed to scan and scan and scan nonstop. I never moved past the scanning (as it scanned for minutes and minutes and minutes on end — very fuzzy and never focused). It never showed Santa in the video. I tried for over ten minutes. Christmas is tough enough, and staying up to put out gifts...I don’t need an app that takes over 10min to work.

Do not get! I was trying to find an app to surprise my kids. I used the Kringl app before amd it worked, but now it does not work. So I tried this one Santa AR It did not work at all I tried on iPad Pro new one, an iPhone 12 nothing.
I even paid the $1 for the Cookies screen nothing. Had no clue how to get it to work. I am going to ask for my money back.

I don’t want to make a video. After I realized it was to make a video I deleted it and didn’t even look at it really so this is why I didn’t rate CatchSantaAR . Please if anyone decides this is what you may want then do so. Again this is not what I wanted.

I was looking for an app that would surprise my cousins this Christmas, so I looked for an app that I like this one where I can catch Santa on camera using CatchSantaAR . I tried out CatchSantaAR, bought all scenarios, and it’s great! Easy to use, fun, and no bugs. However, I’m not sure if this is CatchSantaAR I am going to want. The only downside is that the Santa used in these scenarios don’t look accurate. The Santa looks fake. The voice sounds too young to be a Santa, the beard looks fake, and overall he looks too young to be a Santa. It would be much better if a professional Santa was hired for CatchSantaAR. One where they don’t look too young, their voice sounds like a Santa, and their costume looks more accurate, and computer graphics are less obvious.

Overall CatchSantaAR is great! I just wish a more professional Santa and a more accurate one was hired, like Santa Spy Cam for example.

Did a couple of runs that were great and then made a purchase. The audio on Santa is so low that you can’t hear him. Tried to troubleshoot but no luck. Disappointing.

My little sister thinks Santa is not real which is crazy I believe it cause if Santa not real when is there half eating cookies on our table so I thought CatchSantaAR will be good to prove to my little sister- Brianna, Brianna thought it was real but she said that ‘’Santa has glasses why is he not wearing them?’’ I had to think of something so I said he doesn’t wear glasses when he delivers presents but that got us in a huge fight and he looks to young you should hire a older Santa but otherwise it’s a pretty good app

Uh….well….I haven’t really tried it yet. It just KEEPS SCANNING FOR THE FLOOR!!! Well, let’s do this from the beginning. First, it takes me to “talk” with Santa, and he tells me to turn on camera. Then, it goes to a BLACK SCREEN!! So, he tells me to point my device to the spot I want Santa to go, so I get confused, because the screen is BLACK. I press ready, and it scanned for the floor, it failed, I tried again, IT FAILED!!! I deleted CatchSantaAR about five times, STILL DIDN’T WORK! I was sooooo disappointed ☹️. Please do some bug fixes. P.S. I don’t understand why people HATE the voice. I’m fine with it. -Averie

I love CatchSantaAR . I’ve purchased the different scenarios and love playing around with different scenarios. Does what it says.

My only gripe is Santa’s voice. Sounds like a young kid who was out drinking & screaming and now has a horrible sore throat.

please change the voice. With all the people buying CatchSantaAR , you could probably hire a Santa for a day

CatchSantaAR is not good at all it won’t even let you log in and if you do make it in then it Will kick you out but I’ve tried it on other iPhones and it does work but the Santa Claus is fake he sounds like a kid this is not the best Santa Claus app

CatchSantaAR is awesome and I’m very grateful for the developers having created such a good amusement for us all. Merry Christmas! Good job!!👏👏 It’s very easy to learn and just a tip: if you use the one that has Santa speaking, just put the volume of your cellphone very loud so as, when you take the film, both voices (Santa’s and yours) will be recorded at same “loudness “…😉God bless you all 🙏

I downloaded this 5 different times so far, it gets as far as recording but freezes. $1 wasted for an app that doesn’t work booooo

When I went to get CatchSantaAR is said that it was for free then after 30 minutes it looded I was so excited to play it. The it said sorry for the wait and all but you have to pay.

I guess you download CatchSantaAR , purchase the scenario that you would like to use, and they just take your money and you can’t use CatchSantaAR . Funny how my $1 was processed without any issue but your app is useless.

CatchSantaAR was easy enough to use, and the quality of video is good, but unfortunately the Santa is pretty fake. From the fake “old” voice to the dime store costume and beard.... it’s bad. Doubt it would fool my toddler.

CatchSantaAR would scan the floor but not find it... the picture came out blurry.... you have to pay to actually take a picture so I screened shot it.... I would suggest getting a different app.

Once you buy it you only have one chance to take the shot.

It was so fun recording it. Just be careful don’t have family members sitting on the couch lol
