Good, still needs updates.

Overall I love HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker . Very simple yet a great way to motivate yourself to do things that you don’t want to.

Things to fix are updating the reminders. I have one habit I deleted and it still reminds me and another one that I moved to a different day and time and it still reminds me of the old time. Kinda annoying.

If possible don’t remind yourself of something if you checked it off before the due date. I also think it would be great if it was like the apple reminders app and the reminder wouldn’t leave your Lock Screen until you completed it.

Not very intuitive

I want to love this game but it doesn’t always work or at least it doesn’t seem intuitive. Like fighting a monster. I tapped every where but nothing. Can’t tell if it’s a bug or if I need to pay for anything beyond moving forward. Also, the story text is so low at the bottom that it’s not easy to tap the next button. I can’t tell at the moment if it’s just really buggy or if I have to pay if I want to do more than just move forward and check off things. It’s pretty though.

Loved the app but can be improved

I really enjoy using HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker. But as others have suggested, there are too many ads even with premium & pro bundle purchase!! I also find it annoying that I kept being kicked off when switching between my phone and iPad. It should allow simultaneous signing in across devices. On the same end, the syncing part only works with tasks, dailies and goals. Progress in the game will NOT be synced — New players watch out!

Great But There’s An Annoying Problem

I absolutely love HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker! It’s been really great to help me remember certain tasks and habits. My only problem is that for some reason some habits even though they are daily tasks come up with the message that I cannot do them except on the days they are planned. This makes no sense because they are set to daily which I did double check. The only solution is to remake the task which defeats the purpose since I can’t track how often I’ve done it for. This is the only reason I have not given HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker five stars! Once this is fixed I feel the game will deserve five stars! 🤗

Just figuring things out

I guess i was expecting cool dragons and not mushrooms to battle? lol, and I’m trying to use my tablet on a keyboard and I can only play the game portrait style which makes it difficult to type in my Goals etc. Switching from my phone to my tablet and vice versa does not seem to work well either which complicates things because I’d like to use my keyboard to type in everything and then use my phone other times.

I do like that I can type in anything for my own goals, nothing is preset and that I can set dates to complete them by. Also like that my daily tasks can be listed and some things set for certain days of the week. I was attracted to HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker because I really need something to help me get my schedule on track and I enjoy playing games to make me think I’m not really adulting, lol…

Fun task list

I really have enjoyed the gamification of my task list that this provides. Habits, tasks, and goals are easy to set and modify. I would like it if habits could be set for every other week or once a month but these are not options. My main criticism is that the story in the English language version is hard to understand because it is poorly translated. It is still fun and useful. The free version has super annoying ads, so it did not take long before I paid for the upgraded ad free version.

New habits possible

Especially good for ADHD brains as you get a little dopamine hit for checking off your dailies like taking meds, doing dishes, self care, whatever. If you struggle with a thing you know SHOULD do, but you just CANT or don’t want to, THIS WILL HELP! Tasks can be assigned to days of the week, but monthly tasks would be a nice addition (bill payment and the like, y’all don’t under the struggle to remember this stuff). Monsters can be hard to fight in the beginning, but you get 30% revives by watching a commercial (totally got one of the games too).

Love it!! 3 “flaws” preventing me from upgrading.

It’s great and motivating to lil’ ADHD me!! Three “flaws” that I see so far: 1) I can’t find a way to make the end of day a different time, other than midnight! 2) theres no way to mark a habit as “done” if you don’t have it planned for that day. This makes me not want to upgrade because if I do, I can’t have an accurate account of how many times per week I’ve actually done a habit. 3) there’s no way to have habits be a certain # of times per week (unplanned). If these were fixed (at least 1 & 2), I’d upgrade, but as it is, I don’t know if I can even use it for what I want. Being able to go back and check off tasks in the past would also go a long way!

I like it

So far this has been a fun game to try out - I do wish it was little more advanced in the game style. But I have had fun setting up tasks to do throughout day even just simple reminders or for cleaning, it has been great! I like that ur friends can join you along the way! A few things I would like it to have it: the goals helping create milestones along the way - the habits set up multiple times in one habit like drinking water throughout the day reminders - and that the friends can be more involved like help battle, meet them at pub to play a game or something but overall it is a cute simple fun game that has been helping me and even motivates me wich is the goal right

An interesting alternative to Habitica

This personal management system is a more active version of habitica. You’re able to have more engaging battles with enemies and see changes in your avatar’s appearance based on purchased items. Joining a tribe functions to same as being in a guild in Habitica.

Overall is an interesting experience if you have the fully paid for version. Otherwise, the ads become a bit annoying and can take away from the immersion experience. You may also become annoyed if you like to re-organize tasks, based on your own preferences instead of the preset criteria, they have pre-selected all in all, it’s worth the cost.

Very promising. One major issue. Several suggested features

I have tried several gamified productivity apps and so far this one seems the most promising because leveling up actually has a purpose beyond a number thanks to the battle system/story progression.

The major issue I’ve been having (and why I can’t give it 5 stars) is with the repeated tasks - if I don’t complete all of them in one day they don’t seem to reset correctly. This is really annoying and I don’t know how to fix it other than manually resetting each one every day, which kind of defeats the purpose.

A couple of features I would like to see from other apps are the ability to customize your avatar/character’s base appearance, allowing you to sort tasks by due date, allowing you to categorize and/or filter and search tasks, and allowing you to set task difficulty, with more difficult tasks earning you more EXP.

HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker is still pretty young so I’m sure many more features are in the works - I look forward to watching it evolve!

Great Habit Builder for RPG Fans

I have been going through a tough life transition recently and needed to build good structure and habits to keep it together. This has all the aspects I’ve looked for in a gamified life RPG. Looks clean, easy to manage tasks and habits and makes you want to work hard to get to the next level. Plus the ads give you bonuses and are t that invasive. It’s helping me through a rough Tim to stay on track so highly recommend.

Your Quest Awaits

I have always been a gamer and adventure by nature and I think the concept behind HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker is Absolutely Brilliant! I really do feel it helps tremendously at structuring your day, completing “To Do” tasks and developing habits and I would love to see HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker succeed and continue in its development. A couple suggestions I’d encourage for the developers; 1) the battle scenes could be a little more dramatic; I find the boost “advertisement break” absolutely kills the fighting experience. 2) I Loved meeting other characters in the game, but I wish there could be more interactions with them (maybe they could motivate you to accomplish some sort of personal development achievement and once completed they could help you on your quest; maybe give you bread and water for your journey = energy or let you trade for better weapons, magic spell or protection amulet). The Concept is Truly Brilliant and I think with a few tweaks it can be incredible

My inner Journey is visible

HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker cannot not replace the immense pleasure I feel in continuously embarking on my inner journey. This journey has also lead to transformations in my external world and self too, but it all starts within. Habit Hunter gives all of us a visual representation of our avatar, character, player in this game called life. I can not express how a absolutely satisfying it is to check off a box that you genuinely put effort into completing and looking back at how far you have come.

Tip of the hat to the creator ☺️

Fun app to develop habits and get stuff done

I love that there are different sections. The habit section for reoccurring stuff that you can set and forget knowing HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker will add the item to the daily tasks when appropriate. The task section for random and one-off stuff. And my favorite the goal section for big stuff, which then asks you to break it down into smaller tasks.

I think my biggest suggestion would be to allow the user more customization options for the avatar. I’m not a blonde white dude and not being able to set hair color, skin color, and gender isn’t the best Dev choice in 2020. (Even adding fantasy races like elves would be cool...but first add gender and color choices) Also if there were different options for armor and weapons at each level. Like a set for building a knight vs an archer vs a mage. Basically all the armor is knight stuff and you can only use a bow or a staff when you reach higher levels

Fun Organizational app

I’ve been experimenting with HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker for 3 weeks. as someone who has not played a lot of online computer games, it is really fun. I’m able to frame my big goals as epic journeys. In order to move forward, you have to develop the habits that you’ve chosen, which has helped to keep me accountable. At first, I did the free version and that is wonderful. Finally, I decided to pay just to get rid of excess ads. I have found HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker most useful in just developing one or two habits, and with one good goal with multiple milestones. Though it has the capacity for much more. Thanks!

Best productivity tracker app out there!

I tried a few different apps to try and keep on task daily and this one was by far the best. Set your daily habits, one time tasks, and large goals (and break down within to smaller more manageable tasks to accomplish). All have a priority level you set and habits have additional no/week or choose specific days in a week while tasks and goals have dates you set for when to accomplish by. It will remind you if you want and the game portion is addictive. Only lvl up by completing habits, tasks, goals keeps you focused on getting real world stuff done. I just wish there were more armor/weapons/items at higher lvls.

I love this gamified habit tracker

First and foremost I love HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker! I’ve been searching for a habit tracker that is both functional and engaging/attractive to look at. I love gamification, and I think this is the best gamified habit tracker on HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker Store.

A few small suggestions after using it for a while: It would be great to add a “note” section to the habit and task entries. Also for the habits, it would be good if we could have additional frequency options such as “weekly,” “bi-weekly,” “monthly,” etc. And the English is very good, but there are still a few minor errors here and there. Again these are just some small suggestions, I think HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker is great! Looking forward to future updates.

At the end of the day I realize that I’ve done everything

Before HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker, getting my checklist done was based on how often the checklist appeared in front of me. I tried putting my checklist on my computer, on the background of my phone, but often times I get to the end of the day and not have anything done. HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker has change that! The fun element of leveling up a character and buying new equipment, gets me to open up my phone and look at the task list. Because I want those sweet sweet coins, I try to check off a few. By the time I get to the end of my day, I have repeated this a couple hundred times, and have managed to get everything I wanted done complete. I am very supportive of HabitHunterRPGHabitTracker and I hope to keep up my streak.

Perfect for ADD!!

Finally a habit checker with rewards! I really need the sense of accomplishment when trying to learn new habits. I have a child with autism, a toddler, and a baby. Finding the time and motivation to do more than just keep us all fed and clean is super overwhelming. I constantly get side tracked. Kids interrupt every chore I try to do. At night when they go to sleep, I turn to video games just to get SOME sense of accomplishment.

But this does it all! I get my video game. I get my motivation and dopamine rush from leveling up. This is absolutely what I needed! Thank you!
