XMEye Pro Reviews

I have been trying for several weeks to install a system that relies on XMEyePro. The process is impossible because it requires two factor authentication, but there is no response from their server to either phone or email. Their phone support does not answer, and their email/chat support does not reply. I can only assume that they’ve abandoned business and that XMEyePro should be immediately removed from the AppStore.

If you’re going to sell to the English market, hire some native English speakers. App detects camera but it is “offline” — who knows. I have better things to do than waste time on a camera app. To developer: I tried all that, didn’t work. There’s nothing wrong with my gigabit network. I will also add that my new camera from another manufacturer works flawlessly.

I can’t log into XMEyePro if I’m not on my home wifi. The entire reason I got a home security system is so that I can make sure everything is okay while I’m not there. I tried the other XMEye app as well and it still won’t let me log in, just error messages. Something like this needs to work on other wifi or off of cellular data…..

XMEyePro gives me spam everytime i allow it to do anything. not sure why they would have advertising on a camera app. even if you shut the option of advertising off if connected to your network it comes. i tried this several times and each time chinese spam came within a day. secondly, XMEyePro will ask you if you want to keep watching after a few min. if I have XMEyePro open I obviously want to be watching. too many annoying little things not needed when you are wanting to open an app fast and get things done.

Everything was running smoothly. Cameras worked fine and I was notified with every moment. The last seven days I have not been able to access XMEyePro on my phone. I cannot find a number to call for help. Ugh! I feel like I just wasted my money. I look at the other reviews and many people are or have experienced the same thing.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling XMEyePro . I wasn’t sure if my password was correct so I clicked forgot password and get login error. I don’t feel like this will get fixed.
Don’t waste your money

The home security camera device came with the house we bought. Can't change the login from previous owner. Trying to set it up from scratch is difficult. Instructions are hard to follow. Looks like the instructions were translated into English from a foreign language. Have not been able to set up system.

Updated: seems like the delays and issues are back again. App would not load anything. I'll bump the rating back down.

XMEyePro worked flawlessly till just a few days ago when none of my cameras would load. It takes almost 6 tries of closing and opening XMEyePro for anything to load and if I switch cameras, it stops working. This seems like there's a migration or upgrade that happening on the backend causing this issue. I hope it gets fixed.

Or money On any product related to it. I get constant notifications on human/ motion detection but XMEyePro never lets me pull the video when I clink the link. Constant false alarms on the notification side. Even even I do a search using the calendar to narrow the timelines it pulls nothing yet I get constant notifications Re human/motion detection - constant false alarms perhaps and shows nothing. On the video end related to the notifications

Half the cameras go off line, it records when it feels like it. When you try to use the playback function the camera has one time the bar has another and it jumps all over the place it darn near impossible to watch anything. My front gate was hit by a car and none of the 3 front cameras caught it one just says unused the other says video cannot be found and the only one that kind of worked skipped through the exact time the gate got hit. What a waste of money

The cameras are good but XMEyePro is terrible, every time I open XMEyePro i get advertisements. Who want to see that. The camera are for security to be access immediately. The login password never works. You reset the password and there is alway a error. To many click to access the cameras. To many click. It crash from one camera to another. Once you test your patient on XMEyePro , it shows you all the settings they are good settings. Waste of time and money. This cameras are good XMEyePro make it look terrible. Until they removed the advertisements and fix logging don’t waste your money look for a better brand unless you have all the time of the world to been clicking to many times to get the cameras.

I have been trying to reach out to customer service. For the last two months the camera and everything worked fine! suddenly the device was offline on my phone app but the camera on my pc works perfectly. It’s connected perfectly to the wifi and still recording well. For some reasons I can’t make the camera “online” because it’s saying it’s “offline” so how do I fix this?? Would be wonderful if I get help on this!

An on/off notification is not enough. I would like to be able to turn off "video loss" notifications while allowing "human detection" notifications to still be active and on.

Currently your app is not compatible with iPhone and Apple Watch notifications. To see image right now you MUST open XMEye Pro app, go to messages to see an image. It should show an image when you get a notice on iPhone or Apple watch. All other video/security apps work like that. Can you fix this? App would be great with this feature that is a big miss

Hello, I have my device for almost 2 years and recently is not working streaming video online. The cameras only work when I connect with my Wi-Fi but when I go out side and connect my phone to the data application stopped working I test everything the cables in the Internet for upload and download and everything is perfect I did default settings to receiver, and I still have this problem. Please help me. Thank you.

I have four sets of these cameras, the older ones that are around two years old are perfect and never have any issues with them or XMEyePro IP Pro, but the new cameras and new app that they put out with the audio always seem to have problems with showing up on the screen, there’s always at least one that says (Unused) and it won’t show me an image, and then one day that camera will be fine and another will say Unused.

The Share Management feature stopped working and will not allow me to invite a person to share camera and message video clips - why is this happening ?

Two or if my four are offline and I can’t open XMEyePro at all. How am I supposed to see playback without being able to even get on XMEyePro they my phone :((((

The cameras are great but XMEyePro needs to be better! The account management is basically no management at all. I forgot my password but need it to reset it and can’t find an option to reset it any other way! I am scared to log out because I will not be able to log back in and my parents are upset I am unable to log them into XMEyePro since I forgot the password and can not reset it. There needs to be a support in XMEyePro or the management needs to be better

App would be a lot better if it didn’t have a timer on watching my cameras. I don’t need to be reminded how long I’ve been watching. Get rid of this please. Long load times with high speed internet make this feature absolutely useless. The settings features in the system could be a little more user friendly too. Not everyone is an IT expert. Dumb down the settings for the rest of us. Overall though the basic stuff is pretty easy to use and navigate. Linking the system to XMEyePro could be a little more user friendly too.

Everything seems to work, not so smoothly but I’m happy I got it all working the only thing I hate is, when turning the Frame rate up in the Encode Configuration settings and change to”Best” 3m resolution for maximum quality, it changes back by itself either after I close XMEyePro or sometimes after I view another camera and come back. Please explain what’s going on or fix!! Thank you!!
