Smitten is NOT user friendly. I was so confused the entire week I tried out Smitten. You have 0 say in who you’re matched with so if you’re in any way unhappy with all of your mystery matches then you have to wait an entire day or pay money to have another chance at meeting “the one”. After reading their mission statement it honestly sounds like total BS. Not to be ‘that’ person, but Smitten says you’re matched based on “attractiveness level”. I’m no super model, but I’m very active (fit), dress nicely, and have a fairly attractive face. So why do I keep being matched with greasy, fat, losers??? I can only assume it’s because the algorithm Smitten uses is total crap or because there’s no actual way to match an “attractiveness level”, like what?? That sounds so fake? On top of that, ALL of the matches are suuuuuper far away and I’ve checked my location settings, so why is it that a girl in California keeps being matched with weirdos from Russia??? Once again, because Smitten is complete garbage.
I’m just gonna stick with Bumble and OKCupid because at least with those, you’re not at risk of being kidnapped by a Russian bot.
