About Hello Stars

The first few levels are almost too easy, but as the difficulty increases you'll be thankful that you were able to practice the fundamentals of draw.

The job of each level is to guide a ball from a predetermined start point so that it touches all of the stars placed on the level.

As the game progresses, you'll have to use all sorts of theory to figure out a solution for each puzzle.

It's easy to learn but very difficult to master.

The ball and nearly all objects on the screen are affected by gravity.

- Interesting physics puzzles, they're not as easy as they look.

Must use brain to finish all levels.

- Flexible thinking is going to become the key to victory.

- Solutions can be found in the end of each level.

Horrible and not anything like the ad.

Ok, so when I first saw the game on App Store I thought, “huh, this games look pretty fun and interesting.” Well guess what. It was the complete opposite. I mean, the puzzles are pretty fun at first but as you get further, they get way too boring. I mean, I literally almost fell asleep playing this!!! And I don’t like how many ads there are >:( they are so annoying!!! And whenever I get less than 3 stars on a level, there is an annoying pop-up that is like, “watch an ad to get 3 stars?” Or something like that. And it said #1 time killer, but it’s more like #1 time waster. I wasted a lot of my time and in the ad it had like a way better version of this game. And the beginning has nothing to do with the subject at all :(. It just had a stick an that walked onto a stage and started dancing randomly. And I think the only reason you have to complete the boring puzzles is just to get a bunch of useless coins to upgrade your dance moves and stuff, which is weird. And I don’t get it why on like every single stage it always HAS to have a sleeping guy that is doing a random hobby. I already deleted the game a few minutes after I got it, because of how boring it was. Guys listen up here, do NOT waster your thing me playing this game!!!! 😡 (this last part is an edit) btw, the subject is VERY boring. There is one goal to complete and that is just moving around a red ball to wake up a sleeping guy -.- how stupid. I want my money back :(😡🤬

More like #1 time waster

Ok so when I first opened HelloStars , I was confused when I saw a random stick figure dancing on a stage. Basically the whole game revolves around getting coins in which you can use to... upgrade your stage and dancer? You gain coins by either watching ads, paying money, or doing puzzles. All of the puzzles have basically one goal, get the ball to a specific object or person(usually either a star or a sleepy man). These puzzles are quite fun at first, but they just get quite repetitive and annoyingly hard to understand. They aren’t satisfying to complete and don’t give you enough coins. For example, paying 99 cents will get you 1,800 coins, while one challenge (which sometimes can take a few minutes if your trying to get a 3 Star) will give you 30. Also watching one ad can get you 200 coins. After every other puzzle you complete a skippable ad will pop up and an option to watch an ad for a reward will come up. After about 30 minutes of playing I just said to myself, what is the point of this if the reward isn’t even satisfying?(which it isn’t) Well then I though that is was just to kill time and have fun while doing so. But there are so many apps out there that do this soooo much better, and they are actually fun to play. Don’t waste your time with HelloStars, please.

to many ads, in appropriate ads, hello stars ad DOES NOT relate to the real game

I’m doing this again. Sorry. I was on snap chat once and when I was done looking at my friend’s stories, I saw an ad for hello stars. The add was about a guy sitting on a toilet with a girl outside the door, needing to go to the bathroom rly badly. U had to take the water balloon on one side of the weigh scaler thing and try to throw it to the guy, by making a circle on the other side of the weigher thing. And hit the guy. I saw the ad and it seemed pretty fun, so I downloaded the game. When I opened HelloStars for hello stars, the game was TOTALLY different from the ad. there was no water balloon or anything. Just a red ball. I thought, maybe for the first few levels it’s just using a red ball. I’m on level 90 right now. And it still hasn’t changed. THE AD DOES TO RELATE TO THE GAME. Also, this game said it was 4+. The ads I see are definitely over 13+, like in an episode add, there was this girl being pregnant and there was curse words in some of the ads, so yeah. Also, there are WAY to many ads. But I decided not to delete this game bc it’s kinda addicting. #kbyenow

I’ll probably delete it in a few days

So I saw the ad for this game on Snapchat and it was waking up the guy and I thought “oh cool so I guess the game is waking up the guy and it gets harder every round, that’s seems fun” I downloaded HelloStars and the first level saw exactly how I expected, u wake up the guy with the ball, but then the next level was just getting the ball to a star... so basically the whole game is making the ball get the star and the guy only shows up every once in a while. So I thought “ok this is basically every other app game...great. But I keep playing just to see how it is and the levels don’t get much harder, they all seem the same... I’m on level 31 and I just got this game like actually 2 mins ago, so that’s my other problem, I’m getting bored cause all the levels r kinda the same with the exception on the guy who only shows up once in a while and those levels r super easy. So I think this game would be better if the guy was in every level and not just whenever and also make the rounds more challenging every round. I’m gunna keep playing but if I get to level 50 In 2 more mins I’m gunna delete it.

Awesome game

This is the best game ever when you’re bored or, better yet, when your out in the country and have no data. It’s the absolute best time killer out there. The puzzles aren’t just super easy, but have that nice pinch of difficulty to every puzzle as you excel through the levels. HelloStars is constantly being updated with bigger and better updates giving the game more and more stuff to do. Another big awesome factor is that this game is advertised exactly like how the game is. So you don’t have to worry about scams. I hope this review help and maybe change your mind how the game is.

Good at first...

I really enjoyed playing this game. Please note the ‘ed’. It got harder, so I used the hint button. Not a problem, right? That’s not the problem. Once I got to level 155, there was a pop-up saying something like, “Limit the amount of lines?” I didn’t know what that meant, but since it said nothing about money, I said ok. I then looked at the screen and there was a picture at the top of the screen with a x1 ☝🏻. I continued to play and drew my first line. The ball got stuck so I tried to draw another line. It wouldn’t let me and in a white box on the bottom it said, “Limit Lines”. Luckily it was only in effect for one round. I completed the next level and there’s the same pop-up on level 157. I pressed X but when I tried to draw, it said, “Limited Lines” again with a x1 ☝🏻. I am now stuck on level 157. Why would someone come up with some ‘limited line’ crap. Please take this review into consideration when updating HelloStars. Please take this off.

Boring

On the ad it has a guy and u are throwing a water balloon at the stick man or something like that but the real game is just U trying to wake up the stick man with a red ball and its get boring I wonder when the real game from the ad will come in it’s boring to just wake a stick man up with a red ball in on level 194 or 200 and it’s still waking a stick man up with a red ball U should really fix that because that’s click bait and BORING I still have The game and I was just playing it and it just got boring I thought that when I got to level 200 I will get the level that was in the ad but nope still on this boring level you should upgrade the game and make it like it is in the ad please fix this because your game is losing a lot of people because it is so boring that is click bait and board who just puts one game in there and then a whole Nother game in the real game I thought it would be fine but if she’s boring please fix this and quit I would like to play the game that is in the air not on that boring Little game please fix this now thank you bye.

Chock-full of illegal scam ads. And I mean FULL

Not just ads... feature length films. Some of the “challenge” levels are tricky, and after every fail you get “renew?” Then a feature-film length ad. Then you have two seconds to get it juuuust right (many levels require absolutely perfect timing) then another ad. I’m deleting this game and checking to make sure I don’t have any more games by the same developer as I will delete those, too. Some degrees of avarice are so profound they should never be rewarded. Besides, after a few attempts all I feel is rage against the developers, the ad generator company, and every product advertised. No leisure time activity should generate this much rage.

IMPORTANT NOTE AND WARNING:

By the way, several of the ads included are well-known hoaxes and scams, like the Cicret smart bracelet and that diet pill that lies about having been on Shark Tank (the shark tank episode shown was for a nootropic shot geared at college kids). The fact that this developer associates with illegal scam advertising tells you everything you need to know about them. The game is specifically designed to put you at financial risk as often as possible.

It’s a shame because it’s a clever game. Too bad the developers have made such unfortunate business choices. If they switch to an ethical advertising structure and have a more reasonable number of ads, I might re-install. I’ll watch this space for their announcement of change.

Not bad

This game I would recommend not that many bugs which is a good thing obviously the ads are not that bad the levels past 30-40 get difficult in my opinion just one thing I don’t like is when you do a (Mystery draw) is what I’ll call it you get options of coins from 500 to 50 but there’s a ball you can get and it’s obvious you can’t get it cause it’s a scam but still freeeeeeee coins! But there is a box that has a question mark on it that you can get and it can give you coins I’ve gotten 1200 coins and every time I go to click accept it takes me to the next level it’s maybe a bug I don’t know but I know what I said about there not being many bugs but hay every game has bugs and that’s it and thanks for taking the time to read this and fix the bug please thanks bye

Hello 2/5 Stars: Aggravating and Boring Sandbox Puzzler

The beginning puzzles are really easy, but later in the game you start encountering levels that are just plain annoying. Now I enjoy a challenging puzzle, but it becomes very frustrating to me when the solution is so ambiguous. No only are there multiple ways to the same goal --some more effective than others-- but many times you are getting the puzzle "right" but are unable to complete it because your drawing was just a little off.

This game is also chock-full of ads, and has a second part of the game that resembles cookie clicker in its mechanics, with a mundane upgrade system that allows you to amasse fans (which has no effect on the rest of the game).

Overall both a boring and frustrating game, that more resembles a simple sandbox game than a puzzle game. Not worth your time if you are looking for any kind of real challenge.

*IMPORTANT, READ*

Literally the only reason this game has a 4.6 rating is because their is points in the game where it tells you “If you rate our game 5 stars we will give you a reward!” These 5 star ratings are not because people actually like the vane, its because the developers reward you and trick you into rating it 5 stars. Its a EH game with spammy and SCAM ads.

****-To make it to the top I have to act like I wrote a lot so ignore the text from here on out cause its just jiberish to bring this to the top reviews-*****

Yes but that is the best thing I can think about it was the time that you had to do that I just got a job I had left and then he said that you had to do that you would have a lot more time and I would be happy if I had a good job I just said that you were doing that I would like you and you do it like that I would like to to do we can do it and then I can tell everyone to go and I don’t have any other friends I just can’t go and do it and go and then you have no one wants you can you get a job or do it they don’t have.

I have been in a lot of time and I have been to the one with a couple different times in my other business experience in here and they always have are great and they the I love like am they even the all day long I they will need a lot new good work here and done with my all the time I and here.

Read my insignificant feedback on this game.

Hello stars was great game! All the levels are addicting and very entertaining. I think that the simplicity of the game was what made it special. After the update where Mr.S has made his transition into a superstar, the levels of the actually game started to bore me. All you had to collect were... stars. I miss having the chance to boop Mr.S on the head with a ball to either wake him up, to remind him to stop using his phone, and other many creative reasons. And now the game is just really... I don’t know how to explain it. Also, the game is filled with so many ads that it is so annoying, and this is another reason to why I deleted the game. I miss the old version of this game, and this is just my irrelevant opinion, so it obviously wouldn’t impact your future updates on the game, but I do wish that you could take it into consideration.

Ads Ruin the Experience

I’m okay with a few obligatory ads when I’m not paying for the premium version, but when 5-second ads take 10 seconds to actually close (I continually tap the “x” button, which is super laggy and unresponsive) to the point where I have to exit HelloStars each time due to frustration—and this happens about every two replays in a level—it frustrates me to the point of not even wanting to play. The graphics are also kinda shoddy and could use some sprucing up, but they aren’t terrible. Other than that, it’s a good game, and the mechanics are appropriate for how it makes itself look (gameplay wise). Frankly, I’d rather have banner ads at the bottom than being taken to a completely new page and having to wait for that one, however.

This is awful.

This game is terrible. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to any of the solutions to these challenges. Most of them I just drew a tiny line to get the ball rolling and literally nothin else. And the ball would just find it’s way to the target regardless of my input. And on multiple levels I’d slice the puzzle and get 1 star. Out of curiosity I checked what 3 star solution looks like. And it’s the exact same thing I did. All be it a little more messy. And some levels gave me a bad score but checking the solutions I saw that the level was actually set up differently than mine. So the solution I needed couldn’t have possibly been any of the pre made solutions. In short this game is terrible. You’d be much happier bashing holes in your wall with a hammer. Do not play this garbage. P.s. have an awesome day. You’re doing great. The person reading this. Not the game.

Weird Goal...And I don’t agree with the cussing

So where to start...when I first opened HelloStars I wasn’t expecting it to be that good after reading some of the other reviews. But back to whenever I first opened HelloStars ..I saw a sleeping stick figure walking and a ball just magically appeared and fell on the stick figure’s Head. So already I was thinking “Where is this game trying to take this?” Thinking I had already seen the adds and such for this game I didn’t expect...that! But yeah I get it the game developers can’t cram everything that the game has to offer in a 20 second long add. Now keep in mind I’ve only played like the very first “level” where you draw the half circle and make the ball fall on the guys head so idk much about it but this is just what I’ve witnessed so far. So I upgraded my stage and blah blah blah. And while was doing this is noticed that when I got the second new stereos, the games kind most generous gift back to me for that was this...

“HELLA GOOD!!!!!!!!!!”

*breathes in* *shakily breathes out*

Okay why do game developers rate there games 4+ WHEN IT CUSSES!!!!

Okay now that’s all I’ve seen so far but like SERIOUSLY why do these game developers think it’s “okay” or “alright” to fake advertise there ratings!!!!

Mr. Sleepy might have a reason to stay awake if this game wasn’t so boring..

After every “level” there are new ads. At first it’s difficult to navigate whether or not you’re denying the ad or accepting your “prize”.. or if you have to accept the ad to obtain the prize.. It wouldn’t be so bad if the levels didn’t take literally two seconds to complete. Which brings me to my next point.. there is minimal game progression. The same unoriginal level layouts are repeated I assume so that HelloStars can appear to contain more content than it does. The ads will provide small rewards for limited amounts of time, so unless you’d like to pay for extra content (different balls, etc) you don’t have many other options. Overall this game looks and plays like a flash game from 2003. Mr. Sleepy might have a reason to stay awake if this game wasn’t so boring.

Great Game ! Not like others!

To start off, I love this game because it doesn’t have you waiting hours for you to purchase something with your own money in order to continue playing—like majority of the games. This game actually allows you to collect coins and use your coins for good. Not only that but they have 200+ levels and if you can’t pass one, it allows you to watch a short video; regardless how many times you’ve already asked for help. If you like challenges, I definitely recommend this game! Hopefully, in the next update they include new levels !

Why all the complaints?

I think HelloStars is great, much better than most apps like this, especially the ones with frustrating ad farming. Very addictive, very fun, hours of what feels like endless puzzles, and obviously the occasional ad but only so the developers can make some money off their hard work and dedication to keep HelloStars smooth. Stop complaining about the ads, mostly it is from people who have to use hints, here’s a solution: figure out the puzzle and don’t use a hint. Don’t complain about something that you initiated in the first place.

??😂

This game was fun at first because the levels were not to hard to understand, but within time, it became very hard to understand levels and how to do them. I feel as if this is a game for people who have a high logic level. Also the concept is a Stickman who wants to be famous but I just don’t understand how making a ball hit the Stickman while he’s asleep on the toilet gets me money so he can get better stuff. And the amount of money you get per level is not enough to actually get higher level stuff. I mean, the clothes can be as high as $216.4 but you only get $24 per level depending on how many stars you get. This gets really annoying and boring.
