I love the game but...

But this is suppose to be a sequel as far as know. And in the first one I made in app purchases so I didn’t have ads and lone behold I have ads!! It bothers me that I’ll have to pay AGAIN to get no ads in what’s suppose to be a continuation to the first one. With that being said, why do we have the same exact restaurants in the second game!! I already completed the deli levels and now I have to do them again?! Sure they switched things up and added some cool features but it’s kind of repetitive. The deli levels were my least favorite so maybe that’s why I don’t want to do them again. Along with those issues my biggest pet peeve about this game is that i have these weird pop ups during the game!! They aren’t notifications but actual pop ups! These pop ups with will reroute me while I’m in the middle of the game, and it makes me livid. If you played the first one don’t bother playing the second cause all you’ll be doing is playing an updated version of one you ALREADY PLAYED!!!!!

It’s a Great Game but....

Absolutely love the game. Fun. Challenging levels yet not impossible. You can play without spending money which is a HUGE plus. But here is the thing. I know you can’t run these apps for free so when I find a game that is otherwise doing right (IE not forcing people to spend money) I like to support them. So I decided to purchase the weekly subscription. The extra whisks aren’t necessary but for sure make things easier. So CookIt takes my money for 2 weeks but it’s not registering my subscription. I have to email to get what I paid for. While I must admit they respond and provide the items I paid for promptly it’s a total hassle. Why should I have to email every week. They claim it’s a glitch but I have little faith it will be fixed. Probably cancellation in the next week. I’ll give it one more chance.

Love it, Only One Issue

This game is a lot of fun and similar to Cooking Madness, but without the hassle of having to use actual money to pass certain levels. Although I’ve come across one problem while replaying the first 15 levels, there’s one point where you prepare what the customer asked for but it will not let you give her the order. I thought maybe it was a one time fluke and used a boost to complete the level but I’m finding it happening regularly now. Which is a bit annoying when you’ve made what you need to and tap in frustration which then throws the food item out, thus costing you to lose the level. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed.

I’m enjoying the game but there are a few glitches.

I really like the game because you can definitely play for free and get great rewards that keep you playing. Also, the specials they have on special abilities are great, so I don’t mind spending a few bucks. I especially, love the quick tap feature and that it’s not drag like other food management games. Unfortunately, there are two little glitches I see when I play. One, is that sometimes the game skips customers no matter how many times you click the items they’ve ordered. But it will serve other customers that show up around them. Which is not good when you’re playing the challenge where you can’t lose a customer. Two, due to the previous glitch sometimes when you click on items for the frozen out customer those items get thrown in the trash which messes up the “no items thrown away” challenge. These are the only little hiccups I see so far, but over all the game is enjoyable.

Favorite cooking game

There are 5 cooking games I play between and this one is my FAVE. I like that I can watch ads if I want to double my coins. I disliked that upgrade prices got so expensive after the first couple levels, but the ads to double helps offset that. I just got the new iPhone XS and the home screen indicator is always present. Problem is, it pauses the games when I accidentally hit it, which is annoying. I also dislike I can’t play a level after 3 stars. The taco restaurant is my favorite and I’ll be bummed when I pass everything. I like the buffet mode, but I don’t want to pay for the expensive tickets. I would like to see more ways that tickets could be earned.
I’d go to 5 stars if these issues were addressed.

Positive

This is a rare find! It’s not frustrating to play and it says nice positive things!

Update: I played this for a long time. It was pretty great for a longer time than most other games out there right now. I just don’t spend money on games so my time has come that this game is no longer fun.
The first 2 levels I think set the pace for what to expect, but the third level never seemed to end. I’m a little board of tacos now. Also, it’s very confusing trying to get all the different ingredient combinations for the tacos. It’s hard to see and when you upgrade the cheese it doesn’t look like the cheese they ask for or how it actually goes in the taco. It’s too much. It bothers me quite a bit that the customers get unhappy so quickly and i find it fake because when you complete their order they are all of a sudden happy. That’s not how people work so it throws me off. Other than that this game is fantastic!!

Great Game, Bad Replay Value

Love playing this game when I’m trying to unwind from a day at work. The levels are great, the art is cute, and overall there haven’t been any levels or restaurants I’ve disliked.

Unfortunately, the ‘liking every single restaurant’ has a big draw back; you can’t go back and replay levels once you’ve gotten 3 Stars in them all. Burger shop? Gone. My favorite cake restaurant? It makes me not want to play them too much since I know eventually I won’t be able to play, which drops my interest in the game temporarily.

If it’s a worry that everyone will farm up money from just replaying levels they like, even if they just remove the revenue and let you replay, that’s preferable to locking you completely out of your favorite restaurants. Or if you can ONLY play the final level on some Super Star/difficult setting that gives some good rewards but is hard.

Fun game

The game is fun and put together well, but there’s on MAJOR flaw. Once you’ve completed all the star levels, you can’t revisit them and play again. So, when you’ve finished all the restaurants, which I did in about a week, the game is done. There’s buffet mode, but with few ways to earn whisks while you can’t play levels, buffet mode has to be purchased, which is ridiculous because buffet mode is very hard with the impatient customers, and sometimes only lasts a few seconds. I’m not going to spend ¢.99 to play one 10 second level, especially because no matter how much you earn in buffet mode, it only pays $1000! So, I have nothing left to play and no need to keep CookIt . Bummer, because this game is super addicting and fun to play.

Addictive!! LOVE!❤️

I play a lot of the cooking games. I’m so excited to find this one at a time where I definitely needed a new one! I only wish I would have found it earlier.
A lot of the other cooking games end up making it difficult to NOT have to spend a lot of money - and although I have spent SOME with this game it’s not TOTALLY necessary to have to in order to proceed. I appreciate that and it IS a huge reason I move on from some of the other games. I don’t mind spending a little (especially if it contributes to the success/survival of a game I love), but not to a TON. Anyway, HIGHLY recommended - and I’m picky about my cooking games!!!! 😉

Best Cooking Time Management Ever

What I love:
Only needs coins to upgrade kitchen, no whisks needed!
Game constantly gives out whisks and boosts as prizes.
Levels are challenging but never impossible, so far. I’m almost level 70 as I write this.
Gives out a lot of coins for level completion.
Love that you can choose to watch an ad to double your profit after EVERY level and not just once a day.
The daily happiness to give you extra coins and whisks. 👍🏻
Just overall excellent!!!

Only things I would change:
Customers come in with patience already really low, wish they started out with full patience. It stresses me out lol.
Tapping lags just a TAD but I’m just happy it’s a tap game and not a drag one.
When playing on iPhone it’s hard to tell what toppings they’re actually looking for sometimes. I don’t have a problem when playing on my iPad so I try to stick to that always, but some people don’t have that option. Would be nice if it was a little easier to tell what toppings there looking for.

Thank you so much for this wonderful game, keep up the good work!

Cook it!

This is a fantastic game you can progress with ability and not so much of a money game. That is good because that is the way it should be. I like the variety of food and the time management aspect of this game. The controls are fluid and smooth and it is a tap, tap ... so tap as fast as you can and you’ll do what you do well. This is a fun game and I definitely enjoy the time spent playing also it can be addictive. I have so much fun and the time seems to fly by. It can be challenging but it doesn’t become frustrating, it keeps you engaged and focused on completing the goal! Fun and challenging ratio is well balanced. I definitely would recommend to download and start having fun... today!!!

Best cooking game

I’ve played a lot, so I don’t say this lightly. Hard, but easy enough you don’t get distracted and quit. I love the daily tasks, such a nice touch! I’ve had a few issues with certain customers getting(frozen) like in other reviews. And I can’t serve them and their food either burns or gets thrown away because I press it too many times. But resolves with next life. Also, considering you just have to watch a short video for 2 more lives, not a biggie to me. Also need bigger mushrooms on the pizzas, I can’t see them with other toppings and I kept screwing those levels up. MY BIG COMPLAINT IS, I’ve completed all the restaurants and am DYING to keep playing!! When will there be a MORE CONTENT??

AWESOME!

I have over 20 cooking games and this is by far my favorite! I love the fact that you don’t have to slide the food to the customer and your tips are automatically collected. The food cooks fast even at level one. I’m anxious to upgrade and unlock the other restaurants. I love the graphics and the overall feeling of the game:) Great job developers!!! I do have one small request, I’ve never seen it in any of the cooking games and that would be a “Zen Mode” where the timer is removed and you can cook and serve the customers at your leisure. I love cooking but don’t always want to be stressed with the timer hanging over my head. I understand that’s the whole concept of the challenge, but it would be incredible to have the option. I would even be willing to pay for it:)) Think about it, you would be the only one to have this new and amazing feature in your game because no one else has it:)) Thanks a bunch for listening!

Love it!

I was playing the food court game and it said this is the sequel so I downloaded the game to try it. This game is much better! I like the option to decorate the restaurant, and unlike food court where it takes tons of gems to upgrade, this one does not! I don’t mind spending money on a game I love but when they make gems so hard to get, it’s annoying. I’ve played this game now 2 days and the only glitch I have noticed is I bought an extra cake plate and didn’t receive it. So bought another one. You can play this games with. Very little money or you can spend some it’s up to you, but at least you can keep playing and upgrading if you don’t! Keep it up guys this is awesome!

Amazing!!

I love this game, more than any other cooking game I have ever played. You have so many different restaurants, everything is cute, it’s very exciting and fun! Sometimes it gets hard or tricky but not too much to where you completely lose interest (maybe for a couple hours). This game is the best so far, I haven’t found another like it! Unfortunately I love it so much that I beat all the levels with all 3 stars (and can’t go back through and play again, I definitely recommend fixing it to where we can play the levels as many times as we would like!) and now have been waiting months for more levels..... I check up on it every once in a while with no luck. I’m trying my best to be patient!! Do you (developers) know how long it will be until we get more levels? Or possibly (if you decide to) fix it so we can replay more of the past levels? Thanks! :-)

This is the best cooking game!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️

Just started playing this game and I love it already best cooking game yet so far it’s so easy to get rewards without having to make a purchase every time, it’s ok to purchase within the game app but not every time, sometimes as a stress reliever you just want to enjoy the game but if the game wants you to spend money all the time it makes it very difficult to enjoy, also the times we’re living in not everyone have the means. It seems every game has in app purchases which is not bad but some of them want you to make a purchase too much, so they make it difficult to pass a level without having to spend money, that is such a turnoff and makes you not want to play the game anymore. Please don’t change this game!!! I can truly say I love this game.

Argh!

This is the best game, but I’ve finished all levels and gotten all stars. Now the game just sits there and taunts me. You guys did a new update, but no new levels. More levels, please!

Ok, now I’m annoyed. Because it’s taking so long for you guys to get it together and put out more levels, I decided to delete CookIt , then re-install so I can start over, but guess what...it won’t let you do that. It saves where you were before you deleted it. I would like to play your game in some compactly, please tell me how I can do that (and don’t give me another generic message saying I can always play in the buffet mode. Even though you guys now let people buy tickets with those whisk things, I can’t very well earn whisks if I can’t play the game, now can I? I WANT TO PLAY!

Update:A year later. No new levels. Grr.

Best cooking game ever

I was a little skeptical since I’ve tried just about every cooking game out and it’s almost impossible to finish them or unlock more levels without payment. However they have tons of great content that’s easy to obtain and structured in such a way that you have to complete all levels in order to advance. I like the sub level but had some issues making out if some orders had tomatoes or not. The Chinese level is killer, I had completed all the other levels with 3 stars and could only finish the first 5 levels in the Chinese restaurant with 3 stars. I love the bakery and pizzeria. I wish you could go back and replay certain levels after 3 stars especially since I’ve played all the levels that are currently available. The daily motivational tasks are cute and a way to take a breather

Amazing Game!!!

This is an amazing game! I love that you don’t have to put any money toward this game just to finish another level or the game itself! Yes, sometime it does get hard but that’s what games do but this game doesn’t get too hard to where you have to pay money! Also if you have a problem or confused in the game, when you email them, they are so friendly and happy to help you! I’m so satisfied with this game and everyone behind it! I have been looking at reviews for many years trying to find one game that you can get without having to pay any sort of money! This game is the game where you don’t have to do that, has great graphics, many levels, and different places to go! Also, different things to unlock. In addition, it’s not that hard to get whisks! In fact, I am very happy with this game!

Addicted

The game is great and the developers are amazing. They have responded almost immediately to a few issues I have had with the game and even gave me whisks and coins to compensate for things beyond my control. I’m confused by the addition of the buffets though. How do you get tickets to play? And why are the daily goals now including tasks that can only be completed in the buffets? I haven’t been able to achieve a daily goal since because I can’t play the buffet levels. Also, that double tap to trash is a total nightmare in the buffet. I win a ticket finally and when I played it i accidentally trashed some food 10 seconds in and I was done. That was very disappointing. Keep up the great work and thanks for being so receptive to feedback!
