App has not been updated for almost a year?

I downloaded this cute weather app but quickly realized that you have to pay in order to get rid of the constant ads, which would be okay except the app has not been updated for almost a year. Why would I spend money on an app that the developer can’t even bother updating on a regular basis, especially when iOS14 was just released? Short answer: I wouldn’t.
Where is in-app purchase?

Cute app but the ads are way too annoying and I will not use this app as it appears every two seconds. FAQ states there is a way to purchase and remove ads, but the option is nowhere to be found. Would give five stars if not for ads.

Love this concept, however the abrupt pop up ads ruin the app. Give me the option to purchase ad free and you’d be 5 stars. Without this option I’ll be deleting the app.
