BEWARE! Negative reviews are legit and I wish I would have listened. I created an account trying to support a new idea but this has been the worst experience. I decided I wanted to delete the account because literally no one is on there. There is no way to delete when you make one. I reached out to them through emails and DMs for months. They only responded to me via a comment on a post where I said I wanted to delete my account. In the comments they attempted to belittle me and said that I wasn’t supporting my people. They took down that post but I screenshotted before they did. They still have not deleted my account. Apparently “supporting your people” means being held hostage in something you don’t want to be a part of. It’s shameful to try to hold supporting each other over the head of someone who just wants to delete their account and has kept all documentation of attempts. UPDATE: they have now deleted my account!

I will take the hit on this as I did no user review research. This app gives me all bad vibes and os closer to a scam than a social media app. Not of the privacy email links work. I tried to email about a problem and the gmail restuned the mail saying insufficient server configuration. Seems like settling up an email account is step 1. I encourage y’all to rethink creating an account. It might jist be a phishing scam. I read a review 1 year ago of a user who was trying to deactivate the app but could not. There was a response saying they are working on it. 1 year later a user account still cannot be deactivated. This app and it’s creators are on something sneaky talking about a safe space. Yeah, a safe space for scammers to scam. Don’t download this app it’s a scam

The concept and layout so far is fine... it just looks unfinished. I too had the same problem with finding friends/other users and someone from BePerk told me where I can find the explore page but I still didn’t see anyone. If more than one person is having this problem, maybe you all should consider it a bug and try to fix it. I also don’t like how I get notifications about what the CEO is doing. I didn't follow the CEO so why should I care? I want to use this app, I think once it’s fine-tuned it would be great. Y’all just need to listen to user concerns and see how you can make the app better. The layout could be more polished too.
