Very nice graphics, and when it works, it’s the best! But that is the problem, when it works! The game messes up at the wrong times, like you just won a hand, and it either doesn’t give it to you or gives it to other team. Loves to freeze you out of play, then gives you message you have missed last three hands, and boots you out, you were winning, now lost all your points and game! Just a couple of hours ago the game went into hyper drive, played everybody’s hand for 3 rounds and then froze the screen locking up my cell phone.
But if it were not for the errors it did best of all spades games bar none! Hope they fix this mess!

In the beginning, I gave this game a chance. I’ve been paying for a while invested in purchases. I will not invest any longer. The algorithm for dealing cards is horrendous and unfair. I have been dealt over 40 hands with cards less than 3 bids. It’s always 2, 1 or 0. If you go nil because you have nothing. The players that are winning will deliberately play to get you to not have successful nil even when you have no chance to win. It’s unbelievable the lengths they will go through. Even if you get 3 or even 4 bids the first hand, 99% of the time the second round you get 1 or 2. Just like every other game, they make you now make you spend more just to lose all your savings.

There are other games out there better than this one. If you love losing and have people cheat to win, enjoy!

Started out with a bang! In over 30 years of playing spades, rather playing digital spade games or real life games, I have never been dealt so many great hands in a row. I was on top of the world, made it up All the levels in no time. Then..... I have never been dealt so many horrible hands in a row! Suddenly I sank faster than I climbed, when you are dealt horrible hand after horrible hand there's no way to win no matter how well you play. I believe the algorithm deals the cards this way on purpose, not unlike the gambling games, so you will get the excitement of winning then buy their fake money with your real money after you start loosing. DON'T RECOMMEND!

So great game but never play more than 2 games at a time and never bet all your money. Also NEVER by spins or coins and then play directly. Game is programmed to pull you in but will never let you win big. It’s literally just like Las Vegas. If you do go on a win streak the game will give you several very bad hands in a row. I’ve played over 700 games and it happens the same way every time. Always bet low and just enjoy the play, if you have a lot of coins the game is programmed to degrade your coins to near zero and then it will let you win again. Whoever programmed SpadesMasters is pretty smart. Game is fun but not statistically accurate

I really enjoyed playing the game up until the new update. It takes way too long to accumulate money without having to spend real cash to buy coin packs. Now every time you go up a league you don’t have an option to play in whatever room you want. Now you have to play in the higher rooms and spend more. So instead of being able to play for hours, if you lose 3-4 games depending on what you have, you’re out of coins. Such an idiotic thing to put in an update. Instead of upgrading the gifts or being able to say more to each other than the few pre loaded emojis and one liners. Wouldn’t recommend this game to anyone anymore

The site would be decent if I hadn’t experienced these things … multiple times at end of match when awarding winnings it has frozen and not awarded what was due me and then when I closed out the page and reopened, it had put me into another match and asked me if I would like to continue?? I f I hadn’t reopened it, I would have lost out on that match entry fee. Not that unusual so far, glitchy software, missing awards. Now we get to the seriously problematic experience. I was in an intermediate room and I was given a partner who had ZERO games played! In order to be in an intermediate room, one must play enough games to open the rooms! This player proceeded to purposely lose the game! It also was definitely not a computer player because they used the chat feature asking ops to hurry up! Hmmm 🤫 Sketchy!

Editing this review to add that there is ZERO response from support. I only receive 50 % of my winnings but they always get the fee no matter what! What a shame, this site could be really good, if only …

I just got done loosing two games because my partner bid 10 books! Two different “people” in a row!!!” It’s expensive to play , this game! No matter how many times I report a player for teaming, throwing a game etc nothing happens I reported over 50 times, why are you allowing ppl to throw games In 500k plus rooms? Over a twenty dollar value for someone to just throw it, please find a way to compensate me for this , this is wicked and cruel , you are crooks and thief’s for allowing this I am starting to think it’s you guys who are doing this so we run out of coins , Please stop forcing people into rooms because of the amount of coins they purchased , we did not purchase it to gamble it all away , have you not considered how many people throw games? Also why in the world would you allow A.I as a partner in 500k rooms?
You are thief’s and criminals, you turn what could of been a fun game into a gambling addiction cash grab , you should be ashamed of yourselves

This game is often horrible. They begin giving you daily rewards (coins). If you play long enough that will stop, again play long enough, it will resume. You never know with this game if you only have one round of play. I mean you and your partner bid against the other couple, you play, whoever has the most after that is the winner game over. Or a game could last up to 4 rounds. Sometimes, SpadesMasters will not open at all, like I am going through now and it is not the first time. I have been trying almost a week to no avail. I have over half a million (500,000) coins. I am going to uninstall soon. Give another unskilled, non-professional developers a little of my time.

That the games are rigged most times, and more often then not your partners are bots.

I played in an event room tonight, and on two separate game my opponents went for 6 books, yet scored 11 books. Then in the very next hand me and my partner went for 5 books, yet scored 10. And then in the second game the very same scenario happened with a different partner, and opponents.

It seems the game allowed the other team to rack up lots of bags, and rigged it so me and my partner did the same. And trust me these hands would never score 10 books in an actual game of spades.

Then there times no matter what the game won’t give you a good hand to have a fighting chance. Or it’ll give you a good hand yet some how your opponents cut every night card you possess.

I know it sounds like I’m salty for losing, but I assure you I’m not. I’ve been a pro spades player for 32 years, and never seen outcomes in real life, as I’ve seen in this game.

But in the end this game can be fun “Sometimes” so that’s why I gave it 2 stars. And it helps pass a lot of time. But I just wish the developers didn’t rig this game to be a cash grab.

1. I understand and accept having to watch an ad between games, if you play free version. Recently, I got a message “make a purchase, no more ads”…the same day they doubled the number of ads you have to watch between games. This is ridiculous. No other spades game does this. So transparently a cash grab by developers.
2. Games are wayyyy too short. Why? So you see more ads. Doubles games go to only 100 points, so if your opponents gets a five bid and a nil bid, that’s it. No skill, it’s now just a game of chance. And almost comically ridiculous, solo games go to….60 points? What? Spades is supposed to be skill AND luck, but these low score totals make it 99% luck.
3. The skill of random teammates and opponents is not commiserate with my skill level. I win more than 50% of my games, and make 75% of bids, and 70% of my nil bids (would be higher if I didn’t have to make risky bids because winning score is so low). But I’m almost always paired with 30-35 winning % players, who make LESS than 35% of bids, and 20% nil bids. You get forced to make bad decisions, when your teammates can’t count books, can’t change their strategy, or plain don’t understand how to play.
——all in all, very frustrating game. Much better spades games out there (I’m not naming them so I sound like a shill).
DEVELOPERS, IF YOU WANT ME TO WATCH MORE ADS, MAKE YOUR GAME BETTER. I WOULD PLAY ALOT MORE…AND WATCH MORE ADS.

I will start out by saying i find it funny that support has not responded to not one of these reviews and mine will be no different. This is for future players. Its not pay to play like other reviews have stated. I have paid for coins and you only lose them faster bc they want u to buy more. So that is a lie. It os obvious that it is bots bc there is no way a human would do the things they have done. Anytime u go nil….. within the first 2 throws they will have set u. My highest card was a 7 the other day. And itbwas the only card i had of that suit and it was the highest. Playing solo, I went nil. Player 1 went 2, P2 went 9 and P3 went 4. But tell me why the one that went 9 didnt get a book. Wouldnt u want to be sure u got urs before worrying about setting another player. They always start out with A or K except for when u go Nil and they lead out with a 2. First card thrown 2, then my 7 then a 6 and the one that bid 9 threw a 5 then threw off with the A of that suit. He only got 6 of his 9. No human would set themselves just to set someone else. Watch out. It happens everytime u go NIL. Ur lowest card can be a 5 and they will have the 4,3,2.

I thought this was going to be an amazing spades app. I soon realized that better the Bots and Lame players with nothing better to do them purposely make you lose, the fun is sucked out of the game. You can have an amazing hand and winning and you will be paired with a computer player who will purposely make you lose. For ex. tossing a spade on your Ace. Or you went Nil and they toss a 5 on your 10, to play an ace on the next hand just to make you lose the nil. And this is your partner who should be helping you win. And it is not just Bits, there are players that play just to purposely make you lose. Betting 13 tricks when they r lucky to have 2 or going Nil and shooting out aces left and right. It is a total joke. And one more thing, they need to fix the issue with their ads. 1/2 the time if you watch the ad, afterwards SpadesMasters shuts down and you don’t get your reward anyways. I wish I could just make my own game because I am sick of these wack developers making wack games.

Update: Please do something to prevent idiots from flooding the game with emoticons. It’s so annoying for other players. Also, speed up the timer. Always remember, 12 year olds (mentally) play.

Except…. The ads are loooooong and boring. Here’s what I mean……first a 60 second ad, then it pops another screen that you can’t close for at least 15 secs and then another to close it. By the time the ad is over and you FINALLY get the payout, you’re mad. 😡 The scores are too low. Graphics are great! But it’s a never ending battle to switch if you aren’t paying. Are the graphics worth it? For a bit. But it rapidly loses its appeal due to all the ads.

Spades is my all-time favorite card game and this game captures a lot of the true elements of how the game is supposed to be played. However, a few recommendations:

1) add a game mode where you can bust spades from the rip. If I have a run down in a different suit, I need all the spades gone. I’m tryna run a BOSTON on these folks 😂
2) where’s the add friend feature? I want to play with my cousin because he and I play similar and we’d run every table but there’s not even a option to add a friend or anything
3) add a custom chat feature. Getting into the opponents head is a big part of the game, especially if you know what you’re doing
4) add a “report player” feature for players taking too long to play, to the point where they miss their turns repeatedly
5) add different card backs/styles?
6) add a “slam card” button 😂 where if you know the card you’re about to play is the best thing out there, then you get an extra 5 points if you slam it; however, if you slam the card and someone beats it, you lose 5 points. Slamming cards is just part of the game

I have never written a review for anything. However I felt compelled to write this one.
I enjoy playing spade masters more than other spade apps. The graphics and the fact you can play several levels.
Often it’s frustrating because you get a partner that makes crazy bids that you know there’s no way they can make it es. they bid seven when you have three aces as well as the king queen and jack of spades. Or they bid nil and then lead with an ace. Some times it won’t let me play three times and then kicks me out of the game but only when I have a winning hand and playing for 50,00 coins or mouse with a booster. Also what good are the tokens other than getting custom decks?
I will keep playing because it’s the best spades game I’ve found.

Honestly, I love this game. I am addicted to the game of Spades and have tried many apps. This is by far the best one out there. It really keeps you involved and is highly competitive. However, its Pay to Play and perform…..i have hundreds of games under my belt using SpadesMasters. It designed to get you to buy, buy, buy. In fact there are algorithms which manipulate the cards you get to disadvantage you intentionally. Not random shuffling, but random shuffling with skewed toward giving you lower value of cards when using “Tokens” to increase your winnings. I have yet to spend money, but even being a great player it knocks you down in standings by elevating those who buy large amounts of coins. Its obvious too…people who have low win rates, but win millions of coins, lead the League standings. To win that many coins and have a low win rate you have to play a-lot and spend a-lot. If your up for paying, its great! If not, dont get frustrated at getting stuck at lower levels playing with new and horrible players.

I’ve tried all the spades apps in SpadesMasters Store and finally found one that (so far anyway lol) makes the game fun again. Other spades apps encourage table talk, which in any live spades game, can be used to cheat; and although you CAN chat in this one as well, I haven’t encountered many dishonest players using that technique cause they aren’t good enough to win by skill alone. I’ve had very few incompetent partners. Also with other apps there’s always connection issues, dysfunctional tech departments, and terrible in game Support, which are everything but helpful when you try to address the issues with them. This one is worth your time.

SpadesMasters is the best spades app out right now SpadesMasters isn’t for broke quote on quote pros SpadesMasters is properly named masters SpadesMasters is not a learning app they have other apps for that i like when you have to invest it weeds out the players that don’t care about the game so kudos for spades masters for that and if you can’t succeed in SpadesMasters it because your really not a pro no matter how many years you’ve been playing. They should open the chat up more talking junk is part of spades too thats just my personal opinion sad to see socalled self professed pros complaining about the hands their delt lol enjoy SpadesMasters .

Love love love love it…. I’ve been looking for sooo long for such a detailed game. I feel like am playing with my frnds at the comfort of my own home. The level of detail is insane, the effects, colors and all, am on awe!!!!!! It’s really cool to play with real people.
I also just updated and wow the speed!!! I really am speechless. Preparing to take days off work to play at home :)

I could really like this game but I hate how you guys always match me with the worst partner when it’s for the big gamble. You can’t say it isn’t fixed because when I play for minimum loot I become spade tight and can bid 6-8 books, but when I play for higher amount values I get stuck with the most mediocre player and delt the worst hand possible. I ain’t one to complain, but the amount of times I was on a streak just to be put back to the bottom because of horrible skill base pairing is quite annoying!
