App crashes when I try to change city. Guess I’ll have to stay home!
News app forces you into weather app, which. I’ve now added and deleted twice. Last time was for too many ads. This time, videos fail to play. Wish weather forecast was still available in the new app.
That last update was BS.. Doesn’t matter what o click on radar then to hourly then to forecast all full page pop ads!!! WOWT just keep craping on you you locals with FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT... the small ads I am ok with but this pop up has to stop
Too many pop ads. Every time I tried a different function/part of FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT a new ad would pop up. Disappointed WOWT or the developer pushed consumers to the specific weather app.
As others have said, "this was my favorite app until the pop up ads couldn't be closed." FIX IT!!!!
FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT needs to prioritize the alerts from most recent to oldest. In severe weather who has time to look at all alerts to find out whats going on.

Still too many ads.
I didn’t imagine when I downloaded FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT that I would be bombarded with so many “alerts”. I suppose it’s good that you tell me 14 times in a single day that it is going to be colder in a few days, but you could probably take care of it with 1. Unless you are paying a junior meteorologist by the number of alerts they send in a day.
Can hardly look at FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT without a pop-up add showing up and then it won’t let you close it until after an elapsed time. Not very convenient and definitely not “on your side”.
Every time I tap to see radar it is just blank...nothing shows what is coming in.
Ads don’t timeout and the close out “x” is invisible
App suddenly became way more cumbersome
Ads annoyingly pop up at random while using FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT . Some have no obvious “X” symbol to close it. Terrible user experience.
I have to watch an advertisement to see where there is a tornado warning. That’s pretty lame.
Would like to see heat index hourly… I work outside
I really appreciate FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT and the valuable weather forecasts and updates. However, I have to dock its rating because there are really poor ad formatting choices. The ads pop up and the close ‘x’ is extremely tiny, typically in the upper left corner of the screen, and completely unselectable. The only way to continue to use the weather app is to hard close and restart. I don’t mind watching or interacting with ads, but I will blame WOWT for not enforcing good behavior by its ad partners.
Good app but is hardly ever the same as the WOWT tv weather report, particularly the radar. I’m going to find another app that is more accurate.
FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT is the best
Like FirstAlert6WeatherWOWT can’t figure out how to get Davenport Iowa’s sky cams. I keep getting Nebraska???
