I installed this for the first time today, and it says my free trial has expired. I can't tell you if this is good or not, because it won't let me try it.

EDIT: The developer responded to say that "you installed it before", but I never have. The two ways I can tell, iTunes asks for a password the first time you install an app (it did ask for the password), and really - I've never installed PhotoVault before (trust me, I would remember it). PhotoVault has a fatal flaw that prevents usage.

Note to developer: since you do read these, please look into this software bug. Thank you.

This is pretty good in a number of ways:
1) It’s not a memory hog
2) It asks if you want to delete whatever you’ve imported
3) You can have folders inside of folders

The bad thing is that you can’t really scroll easily through your camera roll. Say like you have 100 pictures in your camera roll and the ones you want to pick are offscreen, if you try to scroll it selects the photos where you are sliding your finger. Then you can go back through and unselect them the same way, then you try to scroll again, & then it selects them, then it decides that you want to scroll, then it scrolls. I’ve tried scrolled on the far right of the screen, far left side of the screen, in the middle of the screen, between the photos. It does matter. I’ve tried on both an iPhone X & an iPhone 7+ and it acts the same...

I bought the “Lifetime Membership” IAP but I’m getting full screen ads randomly popping up. And they’re the kind where you have to wait a few seconds before you can dismiss it. Was loving PhotoVault up until then. Sadly I’ll have to continue my search for another private photo app

Works well with no glitches. Would be nice if the name could be changed with the icon

I had a few issues with the prior version, and contacted customer support. They responded very quickly and we did some back and forth e-mails which were handled at almost texting speed.

The latest update fixed all my issues, although on my iPad I had to do an uninstall/reinstall to get things working.

All in all, the latest version is a solid photo vault app. I even subscribed to the paid version, and they have GREAT customer support.

Two suggestions:

(1) The ability to set a decoy password to access the decoy album directly in addition to the 3X failed password method.

(2) An easier way to select multiple photos, instead of having to tap each one individually. Perhaps dragging a finger over multiple photos as in the iOS native Photos app.

I love PhotoVault , I really do. All it’s features are amazing and it should be a 5 star, but the reason I am rating it a 4 star is because it’s decoy feature. It’s an absolutely incredible idea, but it really gives it away when the title says ‘DECOY’ in all caps. That’s my only suggestion. Other than that it’s a 10 star! ✅

So far, so good. There are things about most of the other options which irritate me. This one, not so much. Will update this after using it longer

PhotoVault has been just fine for its intended purpose so far, however I have a problem that has stumped me. Videos lose their sound when I import them, they’re just muted. Why is this? Can I fix this?

It is very good at keeping thing safe and locked up. Also my photos have been safely kept in PhotoVault for a good time and no one has been able to access them. PhotoVault is worth it.

I think PhotoVault if great! But I do have a suggestion. When the decoy storage opens it probably shouldn’t say Decoy at the top. Just a thought.

I can’t get to my old pics because I have a new phone ....... what should I do

PhotoVault is amazing. It has all these features that really help lock up your personal photos so no one can see. I highly recommend

PhotoVault is good for keeping photos safe so people can’t just go to camera roll to see all your photos and videos. It’s a great app for its purpose but I was weirded out when I was scrolling through setting. I saw something that was pink so I clicked on it and it brought me to a sex tracking app then when I went back it was gone. Can somebody explain why their was almost a link to a sex tracking app in a 4+ rated photo vault app.

Not happy about PhotoVault forcing me to write a review to continue operating it - after I’ve already purchased the pro edition....So lost a star for that.

This is what I’ve been looking for. A solid app that I trust. I had a question to support team and was impressed by their prompt response. Nowadays it’s quite rare option.

I love this product, it’s the best photo vault I’ve used. There’s just a few small security glitches that makes the vault a lot less safe. If you press “forgot password” then you press “cancel” without inputting anything you automatically get logged sometimes.
