App freezes and will not calculate shots, sometimes even counts backwards, how is that even possible. For a subscription based app needs more work. This feels like a beta product. The one star is for the ball it does feel good but not sure it’s worth the $100.

Third time using this ball it wouldn’t connect. Spinning didn’t work and had Bluetooth on. There are no ways to trouble shoot if the ball isn’t connecting. The advice I got was to delete and reinstall SIQBasketball .

We were just hit with a subscription renewal that was never listed in our Apple account. You can’t cancel it on their website. Try to cancel it through SIQBasketball and it takes you to your apple subscriptions and it’s not even listed there to cancel. Do not recommend!

App never reflect the subscription status no matter by registering the 1 year free membership through the QR code or using Apple Pay.

Totally wasting time!

100 bucks for a basketball and we gotta pay for a subscription, some bull crap! The apps features should be free since the ball costs more than a regular ball

I got this ball for my birthday a few months back. I was able to connect it to my phone one time and after that it won’t connect.

When using my brand new SIQ outdoor basketball I have to reconnect it frequently and never get a good workout in. I make maybe 10 in a row and doesn’t count any of them as makes and even counts some of those makes as misses

Gets my makes wrong and calls them missed

I bought this ball for my son and it physically works great. Sure it is not 100% accurate for makes and misses but pretty darn close. It has really improved his shooting as he can see how he is doing and it makes him lock in and challenge himself. I then bought a ball for myself to compete against him and I cannot register as I am stuck in a loop of error messages that SIQ is unable to fix. 2 weeks into this and still not able to even log into SIQBasketball . I continue to get the email with the two boys sitting on the bench and Let’s Play written across. I follow that link and boom, back into the endless loop. Second issue is my sone iPad died so I set up and older phone to put SIQBasketball on. Wrong, endless loop for moving to another device as well. Seriously the product is great when it works but these two issues deserve a 2 star rating. Please help SIQ!,

My brother bought me this ball for Christmas and I was stoked!!!! It had many issues at the beginning, but it was still pretty fun. Unfortunately, ever since I’ve gotten past 3,000 shots SIQBasketball has turned into a piece of trash. It randomly disconnects in the middle of sessions and doesn’t recalibrate. Then, when I’m left no choice and have to close out of SIQBasketball , it deletes my session from all of my stats. Wipes it clean. Doesn’t exist. FAIRY DUST!!! I’ve played 3 times in the last 4 days and it has been nothing but glitches and malfunctions. I’ve taken around 600 recorded shots and made about 250 recorded shots (I’m not Steph Curry, sue me) and every single one has been erased. My all-time stats haven’t changed at all in both the attempts and shots made categories. And my sessions are nowhere to be found. I’m very disappointed, and you folks should give my brother a refund. Fin.

I wanted to love SIQBasketball and the ball...but after 1,000+ shots the ball is misshapen and has a noticeable off tilt spin. SIQBasketball is good but hangs and then goes haywire after 10-20 seconds before catching up. I haven't had a full session without a freeze and premature ending of a session resulting in many sessions shows 0 secs.

I used it for a week before frustration led me to just have the ball just sit there and SIQBasketball go unopened which is an expensive thing to ignore.

Haven’t used it much yet, but giving 3 stars because it took lots of wrangling to get it setup in the first place.

The siq basketball has completely stopped working, I was spinning the ball for 30 minutes and then I just decided to play basketball without knowing my stats. I had this ball for practically six months now it was working now it’s not. We need a better update, I had high hopes playing this basketball to improve but for the amount of money I spent and for it to stop working, that’s ridiculous. Please help.

I cannot connect i have tried everything

The normal ball is pretty accurate with tracking makes and misses. Only problem is when I finish shooting it says I was shooting with a friend and it only gives me the stats for the shots it thinks I took. Ive tried everything to fix this problem (deleting and redownloading SIQBasketball , turning my phone off and on again, etc.) but nothing fixes it.

This definitely encourages you to get shots up every day. Bluetooth connectivity can be hit or miss depending on the environment. Devs please integrate an apple watch app, this would make so much more sense than trying to pair with your phone.

Tracking misses and makes is very accurate and shooting around with SIQBasketball is a lot of fun. Unfortunately some of the stats are wrong, for example my all time lists shooting consistency as 10.0 but I’ve never hit that in a single session. Definitions of the metrics would help as would breakdown by situation (when does consistency collapse?). Lastly I’ve seen a heat map option in the product description but can’t find it in SIQBasketball .

SIQBasketball is nice. It would be awesome to have Apple Watch support and the ability to log workouts to Apple Fitness/Health!

Having issues with finding things in SIQBasketball (is heat map still supported?), the first challenge registering (makes and misses?) and a basic explanation of the data presentations (dials - increasing clockwise, decreasing, should release angle always be the same for each shot …), are just a few. Would highly recommend a glossary section in SIQBasketball and even some basic instruction on using the data. The website seems to use the same video for several sections of FAQs and none of this is really covered (except Heat Map which can’t be found and seems to be one of the most useful things if it still exists). Ball (indoor) was received but has a blemish/ line around the circumference.

The new app refresh makes for a more reliable and accurate experience. Very well done.

Quite frankly, I cannot believe this product exists. Absolutely incredible, would recommend to all aspiring shooters.

When connected, I found the feedback very accurate when determining a make, Miss, or swish.

I am a pro basketball player and shooting coach in Australia and I will be using this in the off season to get more shots up and measure my progress.

This is the best investment I’ve made in my basketball development.

I got this for my husband who wants to start playing again, and he loves it! App is great and he’s already seeing improvements!

I wish I had this when I was a kid.

I wish it wouldn’t shut down my music apps tho. Is there anyway to solve this?
