Forced Subscription and No Sync Between Devices

I got B4Grad and found it to be the best one to use as a planner, but a few days later or maybe even a week later, I got a pop up ad of their subscription, and the only way to get rid of it was to sign up for the free trial and cancel right after. FORCED SUBSCRIPTION!!! After the free trial, you get another uncloseable pop-up ad that won’t go away unless YOU PAY leaving B4Grad useless; quick ad features don’t even work and there’s no sync even with an account; if you delete B4Grad , it deletes all data even if you sign back in. Could be added: SYNC through devices and actual have FREE FEATURES for all-time use instead of forcing a subscription plan. If you’re going to make B4Grad free, make some features free without a subscription; if that’s not an option, make the cost of B4Grad to be used for a year for FREE

Paid For it but keeps crashing on me

So I saw all the reviews and thought B4Grad would be useful to have to help keep me up to date on my assignments. However, I keep running into issues like when I add an assignment it won’t appear on my calendar. When they actually do appear, if I click to try and change the due date, B4Grad would just crash. Also B4Grad does not reliably show things that I have due on my Home Screen. Unfortunately had to spend a lot of time just re entering assignments just to get it set up properly and I was only adding 5 assignments total. As an extra note I am running this on iOS 14.

I can’t keep this app open for more than a few minutes

I’ve had B4Grad for a year now and gosh the bugs are insane. You need to tiptoe around B4Grad as the smallest thing will cause B4Grad to crash and reset any progress you make creating classes, editing them, or pretty much anything else. Simple things like adding a new picture to a class will cause it to crash and make you create the whole class again. B4Grad has been around too long for this developer to not fix these simple issues that makes it pretty much unusable.

The developers need to stop adding new features and need to start working on app stability, these issues has been going on for way too long now.

Overall Good - But Some Gripes…

I really like B4Grad, the clean look and the customization features are really great! It’s also one of the more organized apps I’ve seen, so good job on the people who made this. However, without fail, B4Grad will crash if I allow my lectures to be shown on the calendar. As soon as the colored dots appear and I try to access one of the dates, B4Grad will kick me out. I tried this multiple times and it always happened. While I can live without seeing my lectures on the monthly calendar, it’s probably something the developer(s) should look into. Also, geez, the price on B4Grad is high. As much as I like B4Grad, I could get more out of a $60 game and some time management than paying $60 for B4Grad forever. However, it’s nice to have the option at all, so I praise them for that.

I dropped this down to two stars because as soon as I joined the $20 a year subscription, the weekly calendar became inaccessible. It’s like the glitch mentioned above became infinitely worse upon offering money to B4Grad.

Am I doing something wrong??

I’m a high schooler in need of catching up on assignments and was really excited to try out B4Grad. It had great reviews and looked really easy to use :)

The issue is the number of tasks I can create. Right now I have 2 assignments. When I try to made a third, I get an unskippable ad for the premium version every time unless I close B4Grad . I’ve tried turning off reminders, switching courses, and restarting my phone, but the video ad still pops up and won’t let me add homework. I doubt the maximum number of tasks is actually 2 (could be wrong though).
Am I doing something wrong?

Am I Doing Something Wrong???

I love the concept of B4Grad . I just purchased the for the “lifetime” since I’ll be in college for the next 2 years. The trouble that I’m having...
When I went to I put my “First Day Of Class” reminder, it would add it at first. But when I go back out to my full calendar view the assignments would be gone. Then it would say “First Day Of Class is an agenda that has already happened so it will be removed from your reminders.” ... I’m putting the reminders for a future date so I’m very confused by this. Please help before I find a different app to use.

Good app, but with changes...

Hi, I use B4Grad as a high schooler and it really helps to organize what I need to do for homework and quizzes and such. I only have 2 problems. Moving the tasks around would help since I have different periods of the day, and it would help to move tasks for the same day for different priorities, if that makes sense(such as a test on Thursday and homework due Thursday for the same class, move test up to study and move homework down). Another thing that I would like to see is a reminder system, so that I don’t forget assignments that I need to do. Other than those, B4Grad works pretty well.

Costs money

I was trying to find a way to get notified of my assignments so I wouldn’t forget. I’ve been writing them down on notes, occasionally I’ll forget to do that, and I won’t remember what it was until too late. I downloaded this app hoping it would solve that problem. The first few minutes seemed great until it popped up and said you have to pay to use it. I hate that it costs money, B4Grad would be so helpful to so many of us if it were free. I mean, we’re in school, why would we pay for this, we most likely don’t have the money. Any app meant to help kids that costs money is stupid.

Amazing app! Annoying paywall…

B4Grad is great… from what I can tell. I understand y’all wanna make money, but honestly, I’d watch ridiculous amounts of ads before paying a single cent for this. Maybe I’d change my mind if I had a chance to see what B4Grad could do, but all I’m seeing is something that looks good and might be helpful for a middle schooler - no scratcg that, an elementary schooler, even middle schoolers get more than two assignments at a time. None of any of the advertisements for B4Grad even mentioned a paywall, so I figured I’d let anyone else interested in this know about it beforehand so they can think about it rationally (unlike me… I admit I do sound annoying in this).

Needs a bit of fixing, but still pretty good.

I just started using it and It’s really handy in keeping everything organized and in one place. It makes it a lot easier to keep track especially when you have so many classes/assignments but some features completely glitch out B4Grad and render them useless. Like if you try to unmark an assignment as completed, B4Grad shuts off and just won’t let you undo the action.
I hope in the future they can also add a feature for you to add multiple of repetitive assignments/quizzes at the same time so you don’t have to individually add each one due at the same time every week. For class schedules it would be helpful to only have to put in one start and end time for a class occurring at the same time on different days rather than having to put in the times separate for each day.

FORCED SUBSCRIPTION?

I just downloaded B4Grad today because I’m starting Summer Courses in Uni and wanted to prep myself beforehand for optimal success. That being said, love all of the features thus far, but when I went onto the account information; I was actually not able to subscribe. It shows on the account profile that you’re on a free trial version of the subscription, but when you click on it to gain access and subscribe, whole screen turns black and there’s nothing that you’re able to click on or access other than the green plus button to add assignments.
Waiting for my account to get charged by force because there’s no way to purchase or cancel subscription via B4Grad site.

Great App

This is a good app for planning and organizing class materials and lectures, it would be nice if it connected with the Apple Watch though. The ability to add in the instructors info makes this convenient for people who may need to contact them and not know their info off hand. I would rate this 5 stars but it’s isn’t as convenient without the ability to show your schedule on the Apple Watch.

Awesome app but one thing needs fixing

I just started using B4Grad and getting ready for next semester. It is very useful and glad that I can get reminders for assignments in advance. However, whenever I’m on the big calendar for viewing assignments, lectures, etc., it kicks me out of B4Grad whenever I try to view my labs on the calendar. I can view all my lectures just fine but I tried multiple times to view my labs and it just kicks me out of B4Grad . So if this is something that can get fixed ASAP, then that would be wonderful! Other than that small problem, I’m really liking B4Grad so far

Overall pretty good

Honestly a pretty great app. Let’s you add different types of assignments, from tests to lectures and you can set multiple reminders for each assignment. You can even display these reminders on an in app calendar for an overview of all your assignments. It also has a built in time table for your lectures! I do wish that you could copy paste your lecture times to another day instead of manually having to scroll through the start time and end time for each day that you select. For instance if I go to class at 10am and end at 12 on Mon, Wed, and Thur, then it would be nice to just copy the times to the other days for that class. It would be a nice quality of life change. Other than that, excellent app!

Convenient and satisfying organizer

In the past, I’ve tried everything from Outlook calendars to handwritten planners to Post-It notes, but I’ve never found a tool as convenient as B4Grad for organizing my schedule. I like how I can store all the contact information for my professors, as well as their office hour times and location. However, I’m not able to enter specific days for their office hours. For example, professors usually have office hours on 2-3 days each week, not everyday.

It’s also very satisfying to swipe away homework that is completed! It really helps me stay motivated to get everything on my screen done so I can see all the scratched off items! It also serves as my one source of truth for what isn’t done. For example, if I need to make a discussion post on Canvas and comment on two other people’s posts, Canvas will show the assignment as completed after making the first post. However, I don’t swipe it away from this app until I’ve made all three of the required posts in the discussion. Overall, B4Grad is super useful for keeping my life in order, and I highly recommend!

A question...

I really like B4Grad. I just got it the other day, and already it’s helped me stay on top of things. I’m an especially forgetful and scatterbrained person, and for some reason a paper planner just doesn’t work for me. I have one small question, though...is there a way I can manually change the course’s color? I’ve already associated my courses and their folders in real life to a color(i.e. green for science, red for language arts, blue for math), and it would be perfect if I could do it in B4Grad , too. Thanks!

Amazing App

I love B4Grad! It’s a great way to stay on top of your schedule. I love how customizable it is when it comes to individual classes. There is one thing and maybe I don’t know how to use it, however, I don’t see an option of deleting a class from the current term. I think that would be a good update. I dropped a course and unfortunately I don’t know how to remove it completely. I can only remove the scheduled lectures. I also would like to see the option of adding a reoccurring assignment. For example, I have a quiz due each Wednesday and Friday of every week. It’s a bit time consuming when I have to add each individual quiz. Aside from that I think it is definitely a good investment.

Useful App!

It has a nice design, and it’s easy to use! I like the option of the icons for courses and the repeating reminders, and the inclusion of a calendar view is really convenient as well. Maybe one area of improvement could be automatically making the lecture time for courses the same if we already added one, because I found it a little time-consuming to keep changing each day.

Great, but one problem...

I really enjoy B4Grad and have used it for a while and it helped me a lot. Lately I decided to to purchase the premium version of B4Grad to be able to use it in the future, so I decided to do the lifetime purchase, which costs $10 at the time, but after that it’s just crashed every time I’ve opened it, why, I don’t know. But other than the constant crashes after the purchase, I really enjoy B4Grad .

Truly incredible!

B4Grad is marketed towards college and university students, but it’s just as helpful to a high schooler such as myself. this app has made so many things easier for me, as I can glance down at my phone and see what I have due coming up soon and I can get to work sooner rather than later. While it hasn’t completely abolished my procrastinating tendencies (though that would be REALLY cool to see), it has cracked down on them, and I’m now passing my classes!

Some things I would like to see are customizable alert times and the addition of other events. With the current system, you only receive alerts for one month, two weeks, one week, and three days in advance for long term assignments. If that system was expanded to allow for more suggestions like 3 weeks, 5 days, 2 months, etc, it would make the experience more friendly for first time users. By “the addition of other events” as I called it, your three options are Lectures, Labs, and Tutorials. Adding options like Projects and/or Presentations would help out a lot, especially for assignments that don’t fit the previous three niches.

Overall, I am truly impressed with the quality of B4Grad and the extent of its abilities. I hope to see many more updates in the future!
