If I could give it zero stars I would. They have a lot to work on with Kadama. From the tutors point of view it’s hard to make money because the students request help and are never willing to actually pay you to help them. Next, there are alot of tutors so the competition is heavy and it’s hard to even get kids to help. There needs to be some kind of system to make sure everyone gets helped, and everyone gets paid. Also, most of the kids I have came in contact with were literally asking me to do the work for them instead of helping them which is what I signed up for. I had one girl ask for me to write her entire college application essay for her (750 words) for $10. If you’re using Kadama as a source of income, you’d be better off going to get another job. And if you’re actually passionate about helping kids, this isn’t Kadama for that either.

I got Kadama 2 weeks ago and everything was fine it was well deciles and it worked perfectly fine. I was working with a ton of students and i loved it! BUT after those 2 weeks my account got deleted by administrators. I have never scammed anyone, have always been as friendly as possible even to the rude students, and was always on time. The ONLY time I can think of being rude is when middle schoolers were flirting and I quickly said that was inappropriate which might have resulted in them reporting me and getting deleted but I highly doubt that. So, there would be NO real reason to ban me from Kadama . I've contacted this app support through text 5 times over the past week and haven't gotten any response, i've contacted support through email 3 times in the past 3 days and haven't gotten a response, and I even went to twitter to see if I could get a response there and didn't. They didn't send a warning or reason anywhere as to why my account was terminated but instead deleted my account in the middle of me helping a student with homework AFTER they had already paid! So now i'm forced to never give this girl her homework after she paid me to do it all because of this app. This is my last resort to get a response!

If you are looking to work as a tutor on here—good luck! Majority of the “students” on Kadama are bots who constantly flood the task tab and a lot of students tend to try and override the payment policy, making it very difficult to even find possible tutoring gigs.

Reached out and complained to support about this; all they did was send me a SCREENSHOT FROM THEIR PERSONAL IPHONE with the already known terms and agreements and never got a response to the actions they took regarding multiple incidents regarding transactions.

Totally unprofessional, not trustworthy. There are a ton of great tutors out there, and none of our services are being used because of the bots and and the way this app handles payments. 💀 STAY AWAY!

Changing my review. Before, I’ve rated Kadama 5 stars. But now Kadama is just ugh. If you’re trying to contact this app support, they’ll probably never respond. I’ve texted, emailed, many times and I STILL haven’t gotten a response (keep in mind that this was WEEKS ago). There are many scams, students who don’t even pay you, and the payout schedule is awful and uncoordinated. I received a total of 5 payments from students. All made from the 6th to the 10th of January. It’s the 24th and TWO of those payments have still not been deposited to my bank account. IN FACT, it’a not even showing up in my “earnings” in Kadama . This is unbelievable. I don’t know, but it really sounds like this app didn’t count two of those payments and just stole the money I earned.

The support service is unresponsive. I mean, just terrible. Their website doesn’t have any phone number, and the text and email they provide to contact support does not respond at all. It is very difficult to find students, and 99% of them never respond to you. I even had one student give me a bad rating even though they never contacted me. And support does not even respond, so I’m left helpless. I’ve never gone out of my way to write a bad review, but these issues call for one. I would HIGHLY SUGGEST that you NOT join this app, especially as a tutor. I hope the service department gets better, coz this app has potential conceptually. But for now, things couldn’t be worse. No exaggeration. Just my honest feelings. Hope this helps someone.

Use Wyzant instead. They have a better selection of tutors than Kadama. this app has the right to deny your right to trial by jury. Read the terms and conditions. They also collect all your informations and likely use it for profit. This is part-owned by a Russian multi-millionaire tech mogul who has very little ethics about data privacy and other issues like this. Not only this but this app support is the worst responding support team you can meet. If you have a problem with a tutor good luck getting a response within the 2-day guarantee. Likely will scam you out of your money, your time, your phone number and email, and personal information like your location. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Wyzant instead for tutoring and for students looking for tutors.

Hey all, so I created a tutor account for this app because I wanted to actually teach people. But it’s more for answering questions & writing students’ assignments, rather than teaching students to gain understanding to get to that solution. That being said, it’s great for those looking for a Chegg/Fiver type platform. I wouldn’t call this platform so much for “tutoring” though.

If you want to get started I think it’s necessary to get the $20 background check, which I didn’t do — so it was extremely difficult for me to get students to respond and engage with me. Once again, I do recommend for Chegg/Fiver services! But I think the title of “tutoring” is misleading. Thanks so much!

I think Kadama does quite well in providing the opportunity for tutors to earn money. I would just hope that there would be more of a way for students to give accurate information as to what students need assistance with. For instance, it's pretty often that you'll see " i need help with this essay, it's hard" and that'll be the extent of what information is provided in a request.

Aside from that I really think Kadama is amazing, and it's a perfect opportunity to earn money safely, with full control of time in mind too.

I’ve been tutoring on Kadama for some time now and the extra income has definitely helped these past few months. Payments are delivered daily and there’s no shortage of students - you earn as much as you’re willing to stay on Kadama .

One way Kadama could be improved is if new student requests were sent to a limited number of tutors at a time. This way, less overall requests would come in but there would be a higher likelihood of making a connection with a student, as right now there seems to be quite a bit of competition between tutors racing to respond to new student requests. It can be quite frustrating to respond to request after request only to get no response back.

Overall I’ve had an excellent experience tutoring on this app. Sure there are plenty of students who have no intention of paying you for your work but if you follow the tutor guidelines and pay attention to any red flags you’ll have a good experience tutoring on Kadama.

Lastly, the support staff has been nothing short of exceptional in my experience. They are responsive, friendly, and super helpful and have personally helped me on a number of occasions. Would highly recommend anyone interested in online tutoring to consider tutoring on this app.

I’ve first seen Kadama on an ad but my first thoughts told me that this is just a scam. Therefore, I’ve downloaded and I was surprised ! I could see that this application offers us help at will, without having to pay any subscription. I did a test to find out if this is working, and within minutes, the answer was already there! So I highly recommend this application to any struggling student !

I’ve found that it’s hard to find people to tutor, but this app brings them right to you. Normally you’d have to market yourself on Facebook or other social media to find people that need tutoring and that was always just a hassle. Also when I am struggling with homework I can find an experienced tutor who is helpful in explaining the topics I’m struggling with. I love Kadama so I give it 5 stars.

I love Kadama and I just started today. I am on there as a tutor and I’ve helped about 3-4 kids today with some assistance on assignments. This is a great app to use if you are a broke college student and don’t mind helping kids or young adults to get money. As a student I love Kadama also people are very helpful. On video call and just messaging. It’s very convenient that is on your phone bc kids and young adults are always on there phones so it’s not like I’m waiting forever to get a tutor

I would first like to say that Kadama definitely overcomes the problems many students struggle with, especially now with the pandemic going on. It’s a great way to help students that have trouble understanding certain topics taught in school. I know from experience that learning from online isn’t easy and not the best way to completely understand lessons. Everyone learns differently so Kadama is great for those at home who are struggling with school!

Kadama is AMAZING! This is the #1 tutoring app I have found! It has just about every subject and the tutors are amazing. Kadama is totally affordable with its budget feature and the prizes you can win are awesome! There were absolutely no bugs at all and it was easy to download! I would totally recommend this to any student and all my school friends! If you want to tutor looking for a little extra income, they make it super easy to do! Kadama is for basically anyone and I give it a 5 star!

I would like to say, where was Kadama when I was in school? This is a great tutoring education app for students who need extra help. This also helps parents if they cannot afford tutoring for their children. this app helps students work through their homework or problems. They’re easily to use and this makes learning fun and educational. They turn learning into rewards which is a great incentive and motivation for children and students.

I have no major issues using Kadama as it’s very easy to navigate.

I’d like to first start off this review with thanking the this app team, school has been getting a lot tougher on everyone whether that could be due to lack of effort or just not understanding but this app solves those problems. this app really understands what it’s like to be a student, they offer basically every course you could need help in and that’s not even mentioning the rewards you get. this app is one of the best apps I’ve seen for tutoring / studying not just because of how great the provided material is but they actually add in an extra treat, you can earn rewards through Kadama .

Tutor’s perception:
Have only been using Kadama for a short time so this is a first time review. I will update my review in the future once I have more experience with Kadama and the experience.

It can be hard to find students to help out since the competition is hard! Sometimes I’ll message multiple students and never get a response, but that’s how it is pretty much everywhere tbh. Some students will respond and as soon as you mention price they don’t ever respond again. Which is very annoying to think you have student to help but don’t want to pay for help.

I do love the payment system it’s easy to use and you get rewards for getting paid inside Kadama ! Which is nice! The better tutor you are the more they recommend you to students! The messaging system is well thought out easy to use. When I do find students I do get paid well for the work I do which is important!

For now my review is I will continue to use Kadama as a tutor and invite others to try it out!

I have never written an app review before, but this is one that needs one. I have a few minor qualms, but Kadama overall works great and does exactly what it claims to do. The sign up process and verification process is a little bit tedious, however once you get past that, it is very straightforward. Payment and student communication is very streamlined, which I love. When I did have a problem, customer support was very accommodating and helpful. My only semi-major issue is many students do not seem to understand that the tutoring is paid. I think this needs to be made a little more clear when using a student account. Otherwise, 5 stars all around.

Kadama is great. Finding tutors is quick and easy and best of all, they actually help you out well. The way this is promoted on tiktok/Instagram is really clever and honestly makes it even more fun. The tutors talk in a fun way as well making learning not boring but really interesting and fun. It feels like you have a tutor that genuinely wants to help you instead of a tutor teaching you for the money which is nice. Anyways, 10/10 tutoring app, it’s one of the best tutoring apps out there! I would recommend to a friend

I have had three tutoring sessions on this app. I tend to have a hard time understanding math but the tutor I met through this app has helped me alot and I feel much more confident getting a good grade in my geometry class!

I love this!! It's hard to come up with something new these days and these people definitely killed it. It's super easy to use and find help in everyday activities as well as the rare "SOS" ones. Highly recommend it!
