Very Enjoyable BUT...

I like this game a lot, and I spend a lot of time playing it. However, words that are commonly known often go into the extra jar while words I’ve never heard of (and I have a degree in Literature) end up being some of the answers. Also, it’s important to know two things: All verses are in the King James Version (probably because there are no copyright issues with KJV), and words are often accepted in British form, rather than American form (such as centre instead of center). Some words may be acceptable for one round and not acceptable for another. The most annoying thing, though, is that an ad often covers the bottom of the screen when doing one of the multiple choice games so you cannot see the fourth option. Also, you will suddenly have finished all of the levels of the daily side games (that can be accessed via the clipboard on the home screen) without realizing it. I don’t like that at all, as that was my favorite part of BibleWordPuzzle . I’ll continue to play this game, but it needs an update.

Note 1: The correct answer to the question about on which day did Jesus heal the man in Bethesda is not even one of the choices. This event occurred on the Sabbath and can be read about in John 5, but Sunday is not one of the multiple choices given.
Note 2: “ETC” is NOT a word! It’s an abbreviation for “et cetera.”

Amazing Game

I absolutely love this game, it truly is incredible and I play it everyday… I love word searches and this just makes it 10x better because it involves Jesus. I truly encourage you to download this game… I didn’t know it had music until I turned my ringer on, the only downfall to BibleWordPuzzle is there’s so many ads but 99% of them have the early skip button… BibleWordPuzzle teaches you sm new things and they’re honestly pretty easy questions I mean they’re pretty straight forward, it’s incredibly easy to get the answers right and after each level it gives you a new Bible verse and you can go back and reread your verses. Oh and another thing is some of the words for the word search aren’t actual words like for example the word “bey” is one for the word “maybe” and it’s a little confusing but it’s okay, it’s not hard I totally enjoy it even though it has some odd words.

My FAVORITE game app of all time!!!🤩😍❤️

Some people love numbers… but I LOVE WORDS!!! And this game is so perfect in so many ways! I’ve been playing it for close to a year and it has been perfect for killing time and at the same time, keeping me on me on my toes to remain in God’s Word.

I just did the update too! And I am continually blown away at how engaging, fun & relaxing it is. I just want to thank the creators of BibleWordPuzzle. The sound effects are awesome, the look of it is beautiful & the speed of it is so smooth. You guys have done an amazing job!

I play this close to everyday when I need to wind down. It’s such a great way to mellow out, be entertained and keep your brain moving all at once. Thanks again for getting me through my day! BibleWordPuzzle is a true blessing. 🥰❤️

Bible Word

This is a fantastic premise for a game. It flows great with music for me. However, the jar... The star jar, for extra words shows up way to late. A few levels of a lacklustre dictionary gets a bit grating in a short amount of time. The trivia is a great balance for that seemingly trivial issue... But for me it added character to the work. Okay the meat and potatoes are the WORDS... 7-3 s, l, o, i, d, were the options my answer idols. No star even? That's not solid? This one caused me to pause the gameplay because idols are spoken of in the Bible on several occasions. I almost want to blow the dust off of mine... I won't beat the Bible with chaps and verses because it isn't that deep... But man does it have the potential to be. I feel like these types of words definitely have a place in the star jar. This game has potential, and my opinion is... the words that are actually in the Bible should be represented and acknowledged even of only with a star. I think I will hang around for a few updates and see what happens with this rough gem.

Too many ads and little to do with Bible

This looked and sounded very interesting so I just decided to try it. Unfortunately, just as promptly I decided to delete it! I found very little to have anything to do with the Bible, the words it asks you to make have nothing to do with the Bible, I did not see anything which was referenced earlier and it’s advertisement like wonderful educational references and abundant scripture verses. Instead they were more ads for candy crush then I saw with many other non-biblical games online and more emphasis put on earning and winning tokens then on educational biblical learning. Sadly I find this a waste of time and decided to delete it. I also found it very interesting to be advertised as a brand new app and yet the only review that came up to begin with along with his response from it I also found it very interesting to be advertised as a brand-new app and yet the only review that came up to begin with along with its response from the developer were both three years old, not very new in my opinion!

Bit of a disappointment

I love word games, and when I saw this game was bible related, I was elated. It is a fun game and the scriptures are a plus...also the background music. But I’m disappointed in the ability of finding words. So far, no plurals are accepted so the number of bonus words is limited. Also, many valid words that I find say ‘bonus word already found’, which isn’t true, but I may have found that word 10 games before! The spin option after completing a game almost NEVER gives any number other than a zero in the first slot. I’ve also noticed, for example, that if the words to find don’t include any three-letter words in that particular round, you cannot find ANY three-letter bonus words. So I’m sort of frustrated with this game. I play another word game called Wordscapes, which accepts ALL valid words including plurals. I wish this game did the same. Otherwise, it’s a good game but it’s just not holding my interest very well! I hope y’all can improve upon it.

Not as expected

The game starts out with adds and in between each little segment you do there is another add, so six segments you get six adds. Then they ask you to pay a fee to get rid of the adds. You do not even have enough time to see if you enjoy the game or not and have to watch tons of adds and the only way out of it is to pay. I pay if I like it not if I’m annoyed into it. This is an app about learning the Bible but to me it seems as though the makers want it to profit them more than you. The profit of the makers should come from their maker and those who would like to donate or just have money to pay. Your trust should be in the most high not trying to profit off of his word. Your profit should be in your good deeds. You give freely and he gives freely... unless you don’t trust him. I was annoyed with the adds and had to uninstall the game. I just believe all need money but our provider is the most high not in our own interesting ways of collecting it for our own profit. Something like this should be available weather you can pay or not.

God loves me

Without Jesus I don't know how I can live a good life. Through the Bible I learned a lot, and loves to talk to God than man. God makes everything beautiful in HIS time
The joy of the Lord is my strength. Obedience is better than sacrifice. I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength,to God nothing is impossible. All things are possible because God is on my side. If God is for me who can be against me? I can never love God the way He loves me and that is why I am that I am because of Jesus. The words that I speak have power and because I know that God loves me so much every word that I speak gives life or it gives death. Thank you Jesus for my bright future I appreciate you and I worship you hallelujah to the king of kings and lord of lords...

Fun game, until…

To lead off with, I don’t typically play a bunch of games on my device, but thought this one might be fun and would be good for exercising my brain, and it was, until words that aren’t actually words—like “dite” and “mae”—showed up as correct words in the puzzle. To make matters worse, you spend points to get help in figuring out which only to find out they make a word that’s not actually a word. I like the concept of the game, but doubt that I will play it very often. I spent the $2.99 to get commercial free, but didn’t get the end result I was hoping for…removal of all the other games previews within it (which, by the way, are not easy to exit out of). Had I known this, I wouldn’t have spent the money because it didn’t change a thing. Not the best purchase that I have ever made and I am glad it was only $2.99.

Great game, word cookies, but to learn the Bible!

Really good app honestly. It’s like word cookies which I actually really enjoyed playing. The game helps you to casually build your vocabulary, as well as train your mind to see more information more quickly and more effectively. But what makes this one do much more special the word cookies is that, it does not compromise the first clear benefit, but it adds a greater substance as you learn the Bible at the same time. I only wish it worked you through the whole Bible, and not just a few passengers per book. That would be excellent. Maybe in a future version. Keep it up guys, you’re doing gods work. Find people where they’re at. Playing phone games.

Really started to enjoy it but…

PROS: Learning more words also refreshing memory on scriptures, history stories & figuring out what I need to work more on.
CONS: The Ads are RIDICULOUS ABSOLUTELY!!!!!! Some are very unacceptable especially when you have your child that’s only 6 years old watching and reading along with you. One ad had a lady half naked and another ad had a guy kissing and touching a girl Inappropriately while another girl walked in on them totally putting out the wrong messages and concepts of the whole thing and as Christian’s or believers of Jesus Christ we have to guard our hearts and shield our eyes as someone who is heavily under spiritual attacks and just trying to keep it together & push through holding on tight. Please I would love to continue with BibleWordPuzzle without ads

Great game

I fell in love with this game because I loved the integration of the Bible and scripture to the game. This is literally the only game I know that has it so when I saw it, it was a must download. Extra brownie points for having Amazing Grace playing as background music. I also liked the “4 pics one word” challenges. It was such a wonderful game. It would have been 5 stars, but unfortunately, after around level 20 or so, the game stops giving scripture verses and stops offering challenges. That is very disappointing since that was the main reason I fell in love with the game. Of the game changes to remain constant with everything, I would have shared this game with all my friends. But I’m not going to give you a horrible rating because like I said, there is no other games for Christians out there.

Uninstalling

Initially I thought this was fun and thought it would be more Bible oriented with the words to be guessed. Multiple levels do not accept common words but the missing words are often words that are either made up or an unidentified language. There has also been a few inappropriate words for a Bible app and an inappropriate ad about making choices where it you have to choose how you would react if you walked in on your spouse in bed with someone else.
The most frustrating thing however is attempting to enter a word several times only for it to be repeatedly rejected. When I’ve exhausted all possible options I finally breakdown and use coins to purchase clues until I get it right and li and behold, it was a word I had already tried several times! A game is supposed to be fun, not frustrating so I am deleting.

They Just Want Money

I have played this for a while, and the novelty has worn off. The incessant ads are maddening, and, of course, the developer constantly offers the option to purchase the right to play the game without the ads. Even when they provide an “X“ to close an ad, it takes several taps on the “X” before the ad will close. I know enough about developing apps to know that is by design. I would much rather developers be up front about their attempt to get money by simply charging a fee for their apps. I do not expect technology to be free. I am happy to pay for apps I use; I do it every day. I have deleted BibleWordPuzzle and will find something to take its place. It’s not that great of an app to begin with, but it was a fun way to pass the time in between the ads. A note to the developers: I won’t pay $.99, $2.50, $5 or $10 to stop ads from popping up. However, I would pay all of those amounts - or more - to purchase an app outright.

Love it but...

I love BibleWordPuzzle. It’s beautiful and relaxing, a nice getaway when the pressure of life is mounting(so I play 24/7! No I’m kidding)! The only complaint I have and the reason for the four stars is because I was hoping for much more bible trivia and not so much “word cookie.” I also would like to be given the opportunity to fill in the Bible verses on my own rather than have it filled in for me with the little word game that I’m sorry to say is just boring and geared more toward my 7 year old. Please let us have some more multiple choice bible trivia. I know I can get trivia from other apps but I love everything else about your game so I don’t want another app. You have a faithful customer in me, but please give me feedback concerning any changes you think you could make. Thank you!

Stimulating but aggravating

I like the idea of a relaxing game that may enrich my spiritual life while honing my verbal skills. However I’m not sure if it’s the slow dragging tunes or the unremarkable graphics, but I think the experience may have made the antidepressant advertising more appealing rather than less necessary. I think a redesigned format could give the player a more encouraging affect and could foster more devotion and less melancholy. Nothing heretical or particularly wrong with the game as is, but some changes could tweak the experience and improve the mood of the participants. The verses seemed all too randomly selected. Why not plan to deepen the devotional life of the player? Give them devotional direction rather than bland information. Raise the tempo and speak to the spiritual hunger.

Excellent game

I have been playing this game for some time now & it is both challenging & fun. It has frequently challenged me to ferret out a truth that I had missed when just reading through & overlooking something that I hadn’t noticed before. It causes you to just stop & read the verse. They are continuing to improve the game, making sure it is true to scripture which I greatly appreciate. They have incorporated some of my suggestions which tell me that they are correcting translation errors, improving the English & over all creating an absolutely excellent game. It is obviously a team effort & their team works well together! Good job!!

Good game overall, bad word choices

This is mostly a great game that works well with engaging sounds and graphics. Two areas of improvement (a) some of the ads lock the game up and you have to restart it. Doesn’t happen always, but often enough to be annoying; (b) some of the word choices are odd, even factoring in British English. For example at around Level 19 there was a word I was stuck on. Finally tried “glit” and it worked. But it’s not a word in American English, and even the Collins British Dictionary calls it obsolete. A better choice would have been “gilt,” as in gold edged.

Concern about the types of ads...

I love this game because it is clean and a Christian version of games that are “popular”. Anyways, I can understand the need for ads because of sponsors or funding or whatever. However, please be aware of the type of ad that are playing!!!! This game being Christian, I don’t think Jesus would like an ad playing on a game of his that advertises another game like Life Choice or Game of Sultans. These games often glorify worldly thinking, sex and status. I would love to give this game to my children to play, but I’m concerned about the ads that they will be exposed to. I’m even concerned about it for myself. Can you please address this? I love being able to focus on Christ in my “down time”, but certainly don’t want to be exposed to these kind of images!!!!

Too many ads; game not what I was expecting.

1.Way too many ads! One pops up after EVERY round of word links. Not after every level or chapter but after every round I complete within said level/chapter. I understand you want money but that’s just greed right there. I also had no idea it played Amazing Grace in the background because I have to mute my phone because of the ads. Some ads not appropriate for a Bible app. Cannot select on answer D in quizzes because of ad covering the bottom of the screen. Yeah, ads everywhere!

2. I like the minigames and challenges better than the main game. In fact it’s why I downloaded it. The ad I saw for this game showed the challenges and I thought that’s what it was about. Not a fan of word links, especially when this one is limited in answers/vocabulary.

I only liked the use of KJV in BibleWordPuzzle. But nothing else. Uninstalling.
