Cornerstone Galaxy Reviews

Not only do I have to fight with CornerstoneGalaxy to open the training courses I need for my job because it only lets me scroll to the first 5 after a few moments. CornerstoneGalaxy crashes more than a drunk person on their way home from the bar. And on a separate occasion had caused my entire phone to crash. If I didn’t need this for my job I wouldn’t even give CornerstoneGalaxy the time of day

We are making efforts to utilize Cornerstones mobile app, which is completely separate from the Cornerstones Learn app. Why the redundancy? The mobile app provides for launching of elearning as well. Why would users want to go through two apps rather than one? The mobile app is in need of updating, I think it would be much better experience for users and make more sense overall to use the resources to improve that app rather than create a new one which doesn’t even match functionality of other app. The Learn app does not have single-sign-on ability, so we could not use it even if we wanted to. No one in our company knows their direct login credentials.

CornerstoneGalaxy is the least user-friendly of any interactive apps I have ever used. Too much information per page, the text is tiny, and when zooming in or scrolling / traversing the screen, error messages keep opooing up. Even this "Write a Review" section is screwed up: I can see the cursor moving as I type, but cannot see the letters I am typing--looks like white text on a white screen. Maybe it's CornerstoneGalaxy 's way of keeping people from writing

Trying to get through the curriculum course list it will not let you scroll down. Closed out and came back and worked correctly for one more class then stopped again. Deleted app and re-installed, worked for one class then stopped scrolling. Irritating and making a painful 2hr course last an agonizing 4 hours so far....

I have to watch legal compliance training videos through CornerstoneGalaxy, where some corporate lawyer reads long, verbose power point presentations to me word for word for sometimes up to 2 hours.

Not having the ability to speed up the video to 1.25x or 1.5x pretty much guarantees that I’m going to put my phone down and let it play while I do other stuff.

My company website includes this functionality for our training videos, why not cornerstone?

Very glitchy. Doesn’t smoothly interface with varied video and training clips, which causes many tasks to maintain an ‘Incomplete’ status. Part of that can be the error of the one posting the content into this program shell, but if the program itself had the guidelines and/or was more intuitive for the content contributors, it would make the experience more enjoyable.

On a side note, it’s been recognized that while 75% of our learning comes through our vision, retention is only 20-30% with audio/visual and demonstration. There is a HUGE loss of opportunity for training by resorting to videos, as learning by doing jumps that number up to 75% retention.

In the end, definitely use this as a resource for your company when it comes to having a resource for standards available to managers. However, if you’re using this for training purposes, you’re not setting up your employees with the best methods for them to achieve success.

It’s a great way to learn about this new job I’m applying for, but during the course having to zoom in and out every time it’s quite frustrating not being able to press the correct button because of the screen zooming back out on its own makes the course way longer than it should be.

Two out of 6 required courses were not enabled for mobile app which was disappointing (didn’t seem to be anything different to me).

Even more disappointing is that on the mobile app, it didn’t recognize when you completed the course (course or test). If you did the course on CornerstoneGalaxy then logged into desktop browser, it would know that you had completed the course but still didn’t recognize that you had passed the exam. Wasted a lot of time figuring out these nuances!

Some of the actors response to people who are unintentionally unaware of their behavior such as asking questions about sexual identity for example in the scene where the guy was asking about a co worker being trans. The lady’s non verbal communication came off judgement even when her words were an appropriate response. Perhaps she could have responded with a more lighthearted attitude, acknowledged his curiosity, and insisted he ask him himself if he was truely interested in his co workers personal life.

Maybe include training on the differences on nonverbal communication when standing up for what is right in the workplace, that way people will not feel defeated, intimidated, or scared they say the wrong thing, if they unintentionally say things that aren’t work appropriate. Again the words the actors say are great just the way it’s delivered can be nonverbally offensive for those who are still learning boundaries.

I didn’t get an arrow to advance to the next page. I had to swipe a couple of times and then the page would advance.

It’s a great tool to have with you at all times. It can make your day so not stressful. Also it keeps you from distracting your driver. I recommend CornerstoneGalaxy to everyone

CornerstoneGalaxy doesn’t show the quizzes nor does it give you the option to print the resources.

Clearly there have been improvements to CSOD’s Learn app over the past year. CornerstoneGalaxy is so easy to use, and accessing training and learning content is really easy. I love that the content is available 24/7!

Was exactly what I needed to complete trainings at work but now that I got the iPhone 12 it won’t run CornerstoneGalaxy . It crashes as soon as I open it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great product. However, after completing most of the first training module, the “NEXT” button failed to respond to my touch. Awaiting response from HR Tech Support. I did call Cornerstone Learn tech support number, as well.

CornerstoneGalaxy is very convenient and useful if you are always on the go and need to take trainings. It will be even better if they add geo-location features to CornerstoneGalaxy .

I was unable to get the sound to work on my iPhone so I had to read the cc

I take my assigned trainings through CornerstoneGalaxy and it works great. Their recommendations helps me discover new trainings. I like how fast their sections load. I am looking forward to seeing them add more functionalities to CornerstoneGalaxy.

This is an excellent addition for employees to get the required and needed training for our organisation. I am looking forward to enhancing my knowledge and learning in the future and will recommend CornerstoneGalaxy to my colleagues.

The links in CornerstoneGalaxy to performance is 🔥. Need more emojis though. Dope content too. I can login with my face which is also 🔥. The development on this application seems faster. Did you add new teammates? LET’S GO!

This is Cornerstone’s second attempt at a mobile app and they still haven’t gotten it right. We are big fans of all things Cornerstone but are incredibly disappointed in CornerstoneGalaxy . I’ve posted my specific disappointments on their site. Hopefully a better version will come!

These are key functions that our 4,000 employees rely on daily and they are not in the new mobile app. Once Cornerstone makes Cornerstone Mobile inactive in May 2020, these functions will be unavailable and from what we have been told, they have no plans to add them back in.

So even with this review that I can’t see, there are a lot of UI and navigation issues. The text I’m writing right now is white on a white background so I can’t write a detailed review like I planned. So UI and navigation needs some love...seriously.

Mobile app only allows for a pixie’s fingers to advance slides. Frustrating!

Courses are not completing out when courses are done.

Somewhat limited in functionality, but it accomplishes what clients need it to do and allows for basic content consumption. If your use case is basic it will work!
