Easy Pose -Best Posing App Reviews

EasyPose is very useful and also makes life a lot more easier with the free animations and character/prop positioning, scale, and rotation. Most of the settings help tremendously when wanting that certain
look. However, there are a lot of things that are unavailable to people who don’t make in-app purchases. People that are given what’s free are only given so little amount to work with. For example, we are don’t get access to any instruments and only a few hairstyles and poses. I honestly think that we should be given at least 3 instruments to work with. I also think we should access to at least the ponytail for all characters.(Just my opinion :) ). One more thing is I suggest that there should be a color wheel so people have more options in their project. Last but least, We should be able to possibly make our own animations. That is all from me and I hope this game progresses in the future. EasyPose is really useful and deserves more recognition. Have a nice day and may god bless you and everyone around you.

I’ve been using EasyPose for a while now, and I have to say I definitely feel it’s a great one. I don’t necessarily have many problems with EasyPose so much as a few things I wish it did include. (Let me also add that I’m not entirely sure what Pro entails, so forgive me if this is already an option.)

One of which is sizing. And by that, I mean the width of certain body parts, say how thick or thin an arm is, or how long or short. How big or small the bust is, legs, head width and length, etc. As an artist that has a very difficult time drawing correct anatomy, I can’t seem to redraw the same character with the same body type, and I don’t want every separate character I draw to have the exact same body.

The second is something mentioned a lot in the reviews: mouths and facial expressions. I have a very difficult time drawing open mouths without the face looking disproportions, so a reference on that would be extremely helpful.

The only real question I have is about the finger posing. Is that a Pro Only benefit? I haven’t been able to find how to pose them, but I noticed one of the preview photos when downloading EasyPose shows an ability to pose the fingers and joints. I could happily purchase the Pro version if I had more of an idea of the benefits it would include.

I don’t usually write reviews, well technically I don’t write reviews at all but this one is an exemption. Every time I open EasyPose I see that is not the pro version even tho I’ve paid for it, it shows some ads and well the normal things like limited poses, then I go to pay for it and it says that I already own the pro version that I can download it for free. I have to do this every time I open EasyPose , I wonder if there is an update coming soon that can fix that. It don’t bother me much but is just a lag I wanted to point out. Other than that EasyPose is amazing and I use it every time I draw my characters. Also I wonder if later on there will be a body editing like video games character editor which you can edit any part of the body, since there are characters I have that they are thic, thanks before hand and keep up the great work.

I bought the full version because I wanted to take advantage of all it had. My only complaints are the limited figure styles. There is a posing program I have where I can adjust everything from face shapes to body (chest, stomach, legs, fit, heavy, etc.). I feel that the anime figures are ok but having only one “true to life” is bothersome. And that it’s fit figure only. I’d like more adjustments. Sometimes the shoulders are difficult to get right. They seem to fold like paper when tweaking. Movement limitations would be nice. More hair options as well. My only other recommendation would be gravity. If a female figure bends, her hair and breast should move accordingly. They seem to just stay rather stiff. The hair moves “a bit” but not that much.

First let me say that the customer support was excellent and also very quick to respond!

I love EasyPose, i can make easy drawing poses to really help me bring my art to life. Ive used other 3D model apps and I feel like this one is the easiest to use with the most tools. You even have the option of showing lines on your model so you can see where to draw those features yourself. You can also adjust the scale of models to eachother as well as size of props

I upgraded to pro, which i feel was well worth the 5 bucks, considering ive spent WAY more on actual model figures/props for references that have to stay in my office space. At first it worked fine, but later that day it stopped saying i had PRO. As if i never paid for it.

The support team emailed me within the hour i inquired about it, which was very impressive to me. They got the issue resolved by sending me detailed, polite instructions of what they needed from me to fix the problem.

Im giving them 5 stars because i have paid 30 bucks for models that have broken or been unusable references once purchased. EasyPose had an annoying issue, but it got fixed for me, so im happy again :)

I’ve been using EasyPose for maybe a little over a week now and it’s impressive. There are plenty of things you can do even if you don’t have Pro.
The one issue I’ve encountered though is that after a couple times of using EasyPose it will start logging me off. It doesn’t even open up to the starting screen before it shuts off an brings me back to home. The only way I’ve been able to resolve this problem is deleting and then reinstalling EasyPose which isn’t what I want to do. At first it worked for the first couple of days but now it doesn’t even work at all. It lets me on EasyPose for a couple of seconds before it brings me back off and that’s no exaggeration. If you can fix this problem then I’d be beyond grateful.

I think this is an amazing app, one of the best out there for free especially. I wouldn’t say you absolutely need all the addons but to each their own. There’s so much that’s done great or good
BUT, I do wish you could do more with the faces. So far it’s just colors, wigs, eyeglasses, and moving the pupils in a 6x6 set of square thing. I wish it was more free with choosing where the eyes are pointed like circle or pointer option. But most importantly I wish you could open the mouths of the human(oid) models. The mouth being the most challenging part of a human to make especially in just a few of its various kinds expressions. Even if just a preset set of expressions or sets would be great!

All in all an awesome app that just needs some additions that if needed I would be willing to fork over a few bucks for.

This works excellent for those who are looking to make their own custom poses for their drawings. Get rid of your wood mannequin and try this out. Free version is great, but paid version is much better and highly recommended. Being able to change hairstyles, hairstyle color, body color and eye color is very nice. Being able at least put on one pair of clothes on is a nice touch as well. Animations are just awesome and fun to watch. Haveing the ability to make a few anime or manga like facial expressions would be such an awesome feature to have for EasyPose. Please make this possible in a future update. It will really help an artist create poses with emotion. How about a clothes pack, a swimsuit pack or a hat pack be added for the store. Thanks for making such a wonderfull tool aid for drawing.

Easy Poser is my favorite app for pose referencing! I love the sliders and the preset poses, but especially the animation. In the future though I’d love for there to be an option to position the models by touch, and use the sliders for slight modifications. I hope one day they add another pair of models that have the realistic look of the “super hero” models but the physique of the standard models, and add a height slider. The ability to make custom models with sliders would be amazing, but I imagine that’d be pretty difficult to implement. I think that now, though, focusing on adding more options for hair/props/accessories should be the priority. I appreciate that they continue to update EasyPose frequently and I have no regrets about purchasing the pro version. Keep up the great work!

I’ve tried a few other posing apps, but none are as easy to use as EasyPose and that’s what keeps me coming back. I’ve used EasyPose since early 2019 for almost every digital art project; for both posing references *and* the lighting options. I am a hardcore fan of easy pose, and I recommend it to anyone who asks me for drawing advice lol

I do have a few requests for the developers to take into consideration

Could we get “muscle” skins for the base models with the muscles colored/labeled? For learning anatomy.
Could we possibly get an option to change the lighting color, and possibly add a second light source?

And if I may request something big, could we possibly get a model with more realistic proportions and less anime proportions?

Either way, I’ll keep using EasyPose every day and the models will find their way in almost every canvas I open in procreate; nestled underneath everything I draw. Thank you for developing an app that I find easy to use! EasyPose has taken my digital art journey to a different level!

Okay so I saw this game while looking for a another pose app and looked at EasyPose and I downloaded it as fast as I could and when it downloaded I got on it and got pro and it was AMAZING but there is a problem for me and it’s when I play on EasyPose it changes to where I can’t pose with the lines I have to use the levers on the right so I have to delete it and download it again and I lose all my progress and then I have to get pro again and then I can’t because I have to pay so my solution is to play for a hour and it only changes in 24 hours but other then that it was AMAZING. sorry it was a run on and sorry that’s soo long.

I’ve been using EasyPose and it’s incredibly helpful and easy to use! It’s way smoother and better looking then other posing apps, plus it’s much easier to use. However, I do think there are some things that could be added. I think adding a mode where limbs and objects don’t clip would be nice, however I know that would be kind of hard to program. Another thing that would be nice to have is giving us adjustments for the face. I really like that you can get super in depth with positioning the hands, and something like that for the face and potentially the hair would be super nice!!

I am very happy with EasyPose! I got it as I was having issues with a certain pose and I was able to recreate the pose that I had drawn in EasyPose and saw my mistakes in the drawing as EasyPose ’s pose was more anatomically accurate. I could not finish that drawing as I was so excited to try some great new poses I had come up with in EasyPose . I really love what it did for me so far! I worked with one male and two female body types and even added a prop (sword) and it was so so much fun and very intuitive and I was really happy! I hope that EasyPose stays as helpful as it is, I really like it!! I also looked at a lot of critical reviews of it and loved how the developer worked to correct any issues! It is so cool!!!

I really want to get better at drawing poses and 5 dollars isn’t a lot to invest in an app for easy adjustable material from the pro version. So I bought it. The thing was when I went back into EasyPose I for some reason lost my pro like EasyPose reset. I emailed the company and they got back to me the same day. I showed them proof of purchase and id and they restored my lost pro. So I’m pleased that I didn’t lost 5 bucks and I’m pleased that they were an actual help.
EasyPose itself is pretty nice. Takes getting used to tho but it’s pretty and it gives you a lot of options. Even if you don’t choose to go pro there’s plenty of options and you just have to watch an ad to get them.

I love EasyPose! It’s perfect for my animations! Though it does need more animals than just dinos dragons and horses. Maybe add some lions and tigers? You know just more general animals. one animal I would love to see though is a hippogriff! Like Buckbeak from Harry Potter! That would be nice! Also I do expect and am hoping you make it
for us to change the background! And the last thing is which would make the cherry on top is if you were to allow us to put as many models as we want into the world! This would be lovely! Sorry for the long review! Hope to see this added to the game!

EasyPose is incredible for coming up with poses, composition, and angles for drawings, I’ve been using it on my iPhone as a handy quick reference for a while now and have paid for the Pro account and various DLC features because I have found it so useful

I have an iPad now though and I wanted to try using it on here, but the account I have my payment information attached to is a Google account and EasyPose crashes whenever I click that option in the main menu to try linking it. Has anyone else on an iPad using a Google account had this issue as found a way to fix it? I love EasyPose but I’d rather not have to pay again for everything

I love EasyPose, I use it for ALL my drawings. However, a few criticisms:

- Hip movement is rigid. You cannot tilt hips without rotating the entire character and having to repose the feet and legs etc.
- ONLY slim fit bodies are available. I’d love to see some more full bodied and curvy options
- B*easts don’t move at all. Considering the way fat moves, I’d love to see them squish with arms or atleast have control of the size/location on the chest.
- SO MANY hairstyles have bangs or a giant chunk of hair in the face. It’d be awesome to have more options that aren’t so anime centric for either free or purchase.
- Can we please have like simple chairs or squares for sitting/laying poses?

I recommend EasyPose to so many artists as I found competing apps too complicated and overwhelming. The free version of EasyPose offers so many great options and the pay packs are reasonably priced and go on sale often. Easy Pose has elevated my drawing process greatly. I look forward to updates and upgrades!

EasyPose is very useful for poses, and TOPS every other pose app I've downloaded for help. Lighting and shading are also a huge help. Now he only reason why I'm a little disappointed is because of; one, the limited amount of props used for the hands of just in general, two, custom finger posing, three, even facial expressions(wasn't even gonna put this in but just an idea). I paid for the extra poses and models and they were very worth it. Cheap and easy! I like everything about EasyPose, just a few more modifications and this will become even more perfect then it is! I love EasyPose, but I don’t use them as models, even though I know it’s EasyPose ’s purpose. I use them to make poses, since I’m very interested in 3D animation or “art”, and probably other people do. I don’t know but this isn’t what I’m here for. I’m here to recommend some things for the new update. It would be great if we could change the character’s face expressions, maybe? And edit clothes, too. Get pants for both genders, or T-shirts, anything for both genders. I hope this gets read ^0^ ! Well, that’s all I have to say. Have an awesome day!! °w°

I would like to start off by saying that EasyPose is amazing for anime/manga artists, the variations of models are especially fun to use for my art! EasyPose has almost everything artists could ask for, but I would like to say two suggestions:

1. Add somewhat skinnier and somewhat chubbier models, I would like to see how different body types can turn out with different artists using EasyPose. I’ve been suggesting this tool to everyone lately as well, so it would be nice to add a skinny and chubby model.

2. Add facial expressions if you can. It would be very helpful for the artists using EasyPose to have different facial expressions portrayed in their art!

Otherwise, You guys did a great job on developing EasyPose. I hope to see much more updates along the way! Keep up the good work!

Edit: PLEASE add presets for the medieval models, I cannot move the swords nor the shields and there doesn’t seem to be presets anywhere. Please fix.
