I have several moneymaker apps on my phone and this app is quickly becoming my favorite . Simple to use , easy assignments and a fair timeframe to complete .I can set up a route and complete in the 6 hours allowed and they are super-fast at reviewing and approval. ProxyPics is fairly new and , while they may be experiencing a few “ growing pains “, I have high hopes for these folks .Communication is good , payment is swift and fair for the work. I look forward to this company’s growth and hope to see more and more assignments in my area . I recommend to anyone who has even limited photography skills and a desire to add a little extra to your income .

UPDATE: other than the below all went well and I have done a number of jobs after this one and things went swimmingly. Also, the folks at Proxy Pics are always super responsive to any questions or concerns.

Taking the pictures was fine, however the homeowner came home while I was doing so and knew nothing about it. The instructions said the homeowner knew however. Things got a bit awkward and she asked me to send her a screenshot of the part in ProxyPics that said the homeowner knew and the pics were needed for Jim Norton, which I did.

Completed my first assignment. I had to extend the time for an hour due to personal reasons and they gave me two extra hours about ten minutes after requesting the additional time window! Easy instructions and very clean user interface. Good pay rate. Haven’t gotten the payment (just submitted assignment; still in the neighborhood of the location writing this since it was such an easy process it deserved the good review) just need to wait for payout time frame and to see if it is as promised compensation. If so, this is GREAT APP.

I noticed this app didn’t have any glitches so I’m impress. Overall this is a great app. A nice side hustle to make extra cash when you are not at work. If you run into any problems always email them and they will respond promptly. I’m definitely excited how ProxyPics is improving. Proxy pics is improving, and did not have any glitches nor did I have to reach out to customer service this assignment so I’m definitely impressed!!

My first expectation was at least one property per week. I downloaded ProxyPics over two months ago and have only seen three request. Each request was of the front property requesting an image outside a vehicle and horizontal. The cost alone traveling to the location defeats the purpose. Although I have a full time job I own several professional cameras and drones and enjoyed the thought of taking on this task. Once again don’t expect to make any real money it’s literally $4 (four dollars) or $5 (five dollars) a property that shows up once in a blue every couple weeks. Not disappointed just be aware of the real expectations and they would prefer all photos be raw format. Cameras I shoot with are Canon R5, 5Dsr, Autel Evo Pro II, DJI FPV, Sony A7siii

That was an exciting assignment. I enjoyed meeting with the owner and making him feel comfortable about the process. It was nice to use a professional company title to introduce myself and the process was very relaxed. I thought that the depth of the project was more challenging then hey simple front picture of the house. And it gave me a sense of pride in the job and eagerness to do more. I truly feel like I am a part of something. Thank you this app

This is one of the only freelance apps I’ve ever used that actually has great customer service with real people! ProxyPics isn’t perfect, but when you reach out with problems, they are quick to help you and do the right thing! Very refreshing to see now a days. Also the pay is great and easy to get tasks done. Definitely worth getting if you live near a city :)

Love ProxyPics. The company is very quick to respond as well. Not a good think if you’re looking for constant work every day and high amounts of pay. It just helps with extra cash like gas money and anything else you might need throughout the week. Do not expect to be getting paid more than $100 if you have only three assignments in one week. Be very realistic

I just started ProxyPics a few days ago and so far so good as far as pay goes on it gets in your bank account right away however the pay is a little bit less than some of the other apps that I do a service monitoring for but I can’t complain it’s still money in my bank account. I’ve done 3 assignments so far highest paying was $7

Like others,I accepted a batch of addresses to take pictures of and at the very first address tried to submit the photos and the submission just hung. Don’t dare close ProxyPics or you will completely lose your work. App needs a complete redo. Also noticed the jobs paying half of what they used to. Promising but won’t waste my time.

This is a good way to make a little extra change here or there. They pay quick and they are easy to work with. Sometimes it can be difficult to get a property because there’s so many people doing it do you have to be quick on the trigger. By the time you open up the property in ProxyPics someone else already has it. Overall I’ve had a great experience with them.

In order for me to access camera in app I had to park 2 blocks down and walk the rest of the way because the GPS thinks you have reached your destination when In Fact you didn’t. This is still an issue and it’s been over a year! All in all I astilla enjoy it.

I like the way properties are grouped together when listed but really miss the map view so I can plan route efficiently.
The upload feature can get stuck and the picture is not kept in your camera roll so you should take an extra pic with your camera to make sure you get paid. Otherwise you forfeit your time and gas and do not get paid.
Sometimes 3.25 just isn’t with the drive, but it makes sense if there are five or more pics.

ProxyPics is very easy to use and instructions for assignments are clear. The only issue I am having is trying to cash out. It tells me to add my birthdate and bank information, which I have added 3 times and it says saved successfully. So I go back and try to cash out again and it says the same thing. I’ve reached out to the minimal customer service contacts I have and no response!

I had tried to sign up and get started, but it seems it won’t let me press continue. Is there something wrong or am I just not getting something? Judging by other reviews, it appears to have good potential, so I was quite excited to try it out.

ProxyPics is pretty straightforward about the work that needs to be done. Assignments are pretty easy the only downside is that the pay is sometimes so low that it’s not worth taking the drive over unless it’s on your way to some place else.

I am a real estate appraiser, and I have been doing side work with Proxy Pics since their origination. I have found this business to be very well organized, professional, and easy to work with. My payments are always swiftly applied to my account.

Bugs with problems uploading have been fixed. This is a great company to do work with. Real people answer you if you need help not just some automated messages. They answer emails for help quickly and come to great solutions to help you out if you should need help.

Being a person that likes to look at houses, this gives me the opportunity to help provide photos and give information on repairs need to be done and also get paid for helping out.

Very fun app. Easy to use. The new ui looks great.

I have had none of the issues that the bad reviews have stated. The pay is great for just taking 2 pictures. I have used several money making apps and this one is quickly headed to the top of the list. I have cashed out twice and the money has shown up in my account within a few hours. I had a problem not being able to get to a property because guards wouldn’t let me into the neighborhood and I emailed them for support and they answered me within 2 minutes to help me resolve my problem. They were also very friendly. Highly recommend you give it a shot.

Available assignments are few and far between! Something finally popped up this morning - there were 7 addresses all close to one another. I accepted all of them and set out to take the pictures. After taking the first one, I hit “submit photo” and sat in my car for a few minutes waiting for it to be accepted. I couldn’t see the next address to go to so I closed ProxyPics & reopened it because it seemed to be stuck. It wiped out the picture I just took so I had to go back and take another. I again hit “submit photo” & then sat in my car for another SEVEN minutes waiting for the photo to be accepted. I finally closed ProxyPics and gave up. All 7 addresses shouldn’t have taken more than 10 minutes and yet I spent over 10 minutes on the first one and it still hadn’t been accepted. What a waste of my time (for nothing!)

“Not enough assignments” “Hard to submit” blah blah blah.

I just made $40 in 30 min. ProxyPics is great. If it takes a long time to submit your pics drive to an area with better signal. Not a hard concept to grasp. This company is growing and with that their app will get better and more assignments with be available. I appreciate the assignments they give me. Don’t look at it as a full time career look at it as a way to make a few extra bucks.

I’ve been able to use this for getting photos for home insurance. I don’t always get the photos within a day or so but I still give 5 stars because ProxyPics has gotten better over the 2 years I’ve been using it as it gets more users.

ProxyPics is good but one thing I don’t like is that 0.1 seconds after an assignment is posted and I recieve the notification, the assignment disappears. It seems someone already took the assignment. But how are they so quick to take it already? I’m barely opening ProxyPics and see the message that “something went wrong.” There should be limit to how many people take an assignment and when posting them the users should have to wait a 1 minute after them being posted before accepted.

After a couple weeks with ProxyPics on my phone I finally got an assignment around 7pm. It said I had 4 days to complete it. As soon as I accepted the assignment the timeline changed to 6 hours. It was already dark at 7pm. I sent them an email (the only contact method I found) asking if I’m supposed to go take pictures of houses in the dark. No one got back to me and they removed the assignments from my list of in progress. What’s the point of taking a picture in the dark?? Up and down the street? You’re not going to see anything. Zero stars.

I downloaded ProxyPics expecting there to be SOMETHING to do. There’s nothing. NOTHING. All it says is: “Where are the jobs? As this app is a new platform, we are adding clients and growing on a daily basis. Just keep ProxyPics on your phone, and we’ll notify you of nearby opportunities.”

Um.... no. Don’t post an app if you’re not ready for it to be used. I’m calling bank to make sure they’re on alert for fraud since you asked for my banking info and then told me just to keep app on my phone because MAYBE something may come up.

Simple app that lets anyone who wants a simple property photo taken on demand. Pay $5 and the user base goes to work.

On the photographer side, make easy money taking photos with your phone in your neighborhood.

This should be easy and drive by worthy. One photo has taken too long to upload that I couldn’t see where my other order was. I had to waste needless time pulled over to wait for it to load, needless to say it never loaded so I wasted my time.... and not compensated for the time I did give. I do other inspections and ProxyPics is not where it needs to be. Yes, this is a very good idea to make inspections like these user friendly and efficient... ProxyPics needs a lot of work.

Still needs a little updating but for the most part did a couple jobs and got quick cash!

I’ve completed several assignments for this app and very impressed with their system. The work is easy, clear to understand, and the pay is fast!

Unable to remove credit card, get an error. Maybe they don't want you to be able to remove it. So I try to email them using their form on ProxyPics and, oh wait, there's an error there too. So I think I'll just cancel the account. Well no way to do that online either apparently. So if you sign up and enter any info be warned it's staying there forever apparently.
