Despite all the hoopla about this being the next coming of Christ, the app is difficult to set up and use. It does not always sync as planned, and while it has some clever design features, it is still more like a beta version of what it should be. First, the such issue: items added on one platform don’t always sync to the other (MacBook to IOS). Second, the tech support for “PRO” is slow to nonexistent. Small, interesting startup, but it is very hard to get questions answered even though I am a paying customer. Third, I have never been able to figure out how to set the PM (easily) on an event that i create in the AM. You can easily create the event, set the time and duration, but changing from AM to PM is only easily accomplished after saving the task and using the neat scroll feature that has been hyped by social media influencers. I wish the company would focus more on fixing what is a promising app rather than getting a positive social media buzz. If I can’t get a response or get things fixed, I will simply stop using the app.

I am a student and have come to like this app for what it is. I have previously used Things 3 to manage my tasks and I wanted to try this to see if I can better manage my time as well. My experience with Sorted 3 was mixed. In terms of managing tasks, I found myself having some friction in adding tasks on my Mac (for example no shortcuts quickly add tasks), there weren’t ways to organize the tasks within each list using headings, and I could not see all my unscheduled or tasks I assigned for someday easily to schedule them without having to go through every list I have. In terms of time management, this app does an amazing job at scheduling and making your schedule so you don’t have to, but there is too much friction for me in terms of task management and would rather opt for Things 3. This app is trying to help you manage both your tasks and time, which are two different problems needing two different tools. I have yet to find an app that is great in both worlds.

Asking people to delete all tasks from their current system (the native Reminders app database), and going all in on a new one, is a lot to ask, so I am hesitant to go all-in on another productivity app. I just don't like having to choose one or the other. So, two-way syncing with the Reminders app is a big deal to me, and if supported, I would be much more likely to use this much more.
2Do, GoodTask, Calendars 5, Fantastical, and others allow you to choose Reminders as your syncing engine, which is one reason they stick around--because they aren’t jealous of my data.
That being said, I really like it, so I wish they would work on that so I can use Sorted for what it is so good at, without having to lose all the functionality of using the built in Reminders database (location based reminders, native syncing everywhere, native Siri).
Edit: Additional feature requests:
1. The option to not lock calendar events so that they work with auto-scheduling, etc.
2. A more robust calendar view to see tasks and calendars on an actual calendar instead of just one day at a time would really put it over the top. On iPad especially, I have yet to find a iOS app that allows a split view with tasks on one side and the calendar (with details shown) on the other that lets you drag and schedule events easily.
3. Calendar sets to allow you to save different views of visible calendars and lists. i.e. work/home profiles.
