Very promising...but algorithm and updates messed it up

This game seemed promising and is very enjoyable. However, some of the potential upgrades are not guaranteed. I don’t mind spending some $ to support the developers and have bought crystals to trade for weapons card, but kept getting lower grade weapons. Also used an ore to add more sockets, but instead it removed the one I had. It’s frustrating when you spend $ to improve equipment, it gives you stuff that is weaker than what you have. I could have easily given this 5 stars, but equipment upgrade is very deceiving. Updated Review: The PvP is whack...don’t know what algorithm they are using. The program was putting the damage on my character for the hits I was dealing on the AI. If this continues, I will be deleting the game. More review: Developers definitely rigged the PvP’a AI difficulty to force you into spending more money just to keep up with gameplay. I had a level 52 character with 62K survivability, and lost badly to a level 45 opponent with a 34K survivability. In addition, it is so obvious in the gameplay...especially when my character had 450 mobility, and yet my AI opponent who had 400 mobility was still moving faster than me. Especially executing special moves. Update: Developer responded, stating to leave any recommendations. My whole post was addressing concerns and issues. Clearly you guys don’t read the reviews.

Pretty decent game, terrible PvP

I’ve been playing this game for a week or so, and I really enjoy the campaign and all of the unique enemies. I love the challenge raids and the challenge tower, but the duel arena may be the most broken mode ever. Regularly, you will either encounter a hacker that has riddled with their hitbox to make it impossible to hit them, or you will encounter a pay-to-play player who easily kills you and downranks you. Either that, or unresponsive controls will doom you to being stuck at silver 5. The PvP mode could be changed to match players based on attack and health stats as opposed to randomly matching stronger players with weaker players. Edit: The PvP has proven itself to be literal trash. I don’t know who has responsible for the op bots/ pay to win player matchmaker but they should be fired. The complete and utter lack of planning is clear. Edit: Again, I cannot stress enough the lack of competency in the PvP game design. Having reached Bronze 1 and feeling very proud, I proceeded to lose to a series of higher level players that had power/attack levels and overall levels that completely outmatched my own. I’ve upgraded my gear as much as I can, and I still lose. I came back to this game with high hopes, and am leaving disgusted by the games lack of planning for PvP

Quickly reveals the lie

Probably one of the best hack and slash 2d by 3 stage fights (man that’s becoming common) game you play... that is until area 3 where the enemies attack damage is given a major boost and they all become ho sponges. It does the usual of showering you with beginning game gems, claimable quest, upgradeable gear... then just becomes an obvious cash grab. Even with enhanced items or purchasing available gear with the allotted gems and currency, it becomes a tedious button masher with little payoff. Has potential. Pros: awesome graphics, music, Sfx. Gritty in all the ways you want. Showers you with beginning content, especially in game currency. Cons: but...game currency is the standard over inflated garbage you’ve come to expect. So the amount is irrelevant. Very typical standardized 3 part stage system excessively used by similar games. Literally just a walk on a flat surface through 3 rounds of press buttons. Unresponsive jump control, fight some of the mobs that require you to jump more than once and find out. Ready to put points into passive skills with little payoff? (Looking at you item drop ratio) Look at the quest that says: OPEN CARD SHOP. What it actually means: PURCHASE from the card shop. Makes a difference. Hope to see something other than a generic button masher with pretty graphics. Guess that’s up to the developer.
