a surprisingly simple implementation of a complex concept... was so helpful as I was finishing the series, I came back to it so many times to help remind myself of different characters in this impossibly complicated world and it was so useful for concise answers without spoilers (unlike simply googling, which produced spoilers basically every time and usually led me down a rabbithole 😀). wonderful job, thank you so much for the hard work!

I don’t want to come down too harshly on a free app that a fan made as a reading aid. That said however, I do not see how to choose chapters like is said in the description. I can choose a book and character, and it gives a description of that character, and lists the first chapter they appear in in that book.
Also, I was hoping for just a bit more detail about when the chosen character has previously appeared. Of the few I tested, I saw very little about what they actually did up to that point.

For years, I have said that more books need to have a companion work like this one. Especially for the Wheel of Time series with its huge number of characters, such a companion app that only gives you information up to where you've read is key. And this one does it admirably. It's easy to use, complete, and well appreciated.

I love the Wheel of Time but anyone who reads it know there are WAY too many characters to remember. WoTCompendium is so helpful anytime i forget a persons name, it gives a brief description of who they are up until that point in the book. It even lists the books so you don’t get any spoilers for the future. Very helpful :)

5 out of 5 stars. WoTCompendium was really helpful when I was read the wheel of time series because I was able to search for specific characters and become of the option to choose what book I was on i never had any spoilers. Would definitely recommend. Enjoy the series y’all

The taking of the time to develop WoTCompendium is just incredible. I have been putting post it notes in my books whenever a new character gets introduced, and they are tough to read through! This is a much much better option, although more useful on re-reads than for first timers IMO.

After I bought the official Wheel of Time Companion book, I was saddened to realize it was for folks who have read the entire series already, as the spoilers are everywhere. This has been perfect while rolling through my first journey through the series.

Although I would’ve liked if it had an option to view characters in the order they appeared in the book.

The entries to Moraine in Book 1 and Ba’Alzamon in Book 2 contains spoilers!!! I was so disappointed!!
