First off the game is fun but it is very expensive to play competitively. It would take you three months to do what somebody can do in one week for $250 pack. They even have a $500 pack support for the game is there, but they are slow. I had a problem and they kept overwhelming me with emails that wanted me to explain the same problem over and over again until eventually I just got sick of it in gave up so in the end my problem was never fixed. All I know the game is a lot of fun. Everything works fine, they do maintenance just like any game but unfortunately I don’t have the cash flow to level up as fast as others. I spent $2000 in the first month and my friend spent $7000 the first month so when I go in the farm for the valor points, that’s what levels you up I get like 200,000 compared to his 2 billion so he levels everything up very quickly whereas me I’m looking at a couple months plus but this money is no object for you. Enjoy the game it’s fun on the other hand if you don’t have a money tree in your backyard, be prepared to take an extreme amount of time to level up, they will put you in a new kingdom with other new players in the you have five or six months to level before they open the kingdom to all 130 some kingdoms most of those players already billion might you’ll be lucky to be at 5 million 10 million and that’s if you spend money $2000 got me right around the 7 million might

I love this game so much that it’s something I have spent more money on than I care to admit. However I have had purchases fail to give me what I bought but they still took my money just fine. I reached out to the support team and they do not reply! Also when you revive your troops they often pop back up and you have to revive them twice using your resources which go quickly enough as is. There are other glitches in the game such as completing crypts but not receiving clan chest for them. I’m going to finish my month out since I purchased the triumphant rewards package but I’m probably quitting afterwards! Word of advice this game is addictive and you will be tempted to spend your money and they don’t play fair! They take your money but don’t deliver on their end! I prefer to not send money to someone that can’t take the time to say hey I’m sorry about that let me make this right for you.

Great Game but money hungry, Cash greedy developers. I’ve spent around $300 on this game and I’m about 5M Might. The developer says join a clan but I’m in the highest ranked clan of my Kingdom with around 700 Chests per day and while that’s very helpful I’m still hit with many times where I just don’t have enough of something. Not enough speedups, Not enough Valor, Not enough gold. Not enough stone, But hey always presented with the option to spend more real money to get each of those things which are strategically placed in different packages. Then if you buy a $4.99 package your presented with an offer with larger quantity of the same items for a higher price. Or the limited offers with countdown timers that when expires just resets again. It’s all mind games and psychology of humans they are manipulating. This game is just too expensive to really play! Then I start looking at other Kingdoms with 5 Billion might for single player and realize you would either have to spend a decade playing this game or like $10,000 to be one of the top players of the game.

In order to be “competitive” in the game, you have to spend 250/wk on special mercenaries, and that’s after 6months of spending that kind of money to grow an army size that can be competitive. 12,000/year. To play the game. Yet you get 0 return from customer support on the developers fixing issues within the game. You have to use an outside chat service bc the one they advertise as having doesn’t work. They perform maintenance in the middle of major events, they don’t answer your questions to support for 3-5 days. And again, only way to be competitive and grow to be competitive is spending in the neighborhood of 250/wk if you spend 50 for a package, they will offer the same package for 100 for a week to 10 days. It’s the same thing, yet double the price. It almost feels criminal the way this company operates.

First if you want to get ahead in this game you won’t be able to unless you PAY. Pay crazy amounts of money for things that don’t help you much. And even if you paid thousands of dollars for this game you still wouldn’t catch to players who have been playing for months. It would be a good game if certain levels were only allow to attack same level players but it’s not its players who have spent a lot of money attacking players who haven’t spent any money. Theres a reason only 12k people have downloaded this vs 3 million who have downloaded something like the clash of clans app. If this game used brackets and levels allowing them to only attack players who have the same levels then it would be decent at best. And to level up anything whether your city, weapons, captains will literally take you months and you will still get no where unless you spend money.

Save your time and money and download a game where everyone has a real chance to grow and upgrade because this is NOT the game. And if you see “support” responding to these reviews DO NOT believe what they say trust me it’s all lies, it’s just run around talk!!

After playing for a year, have deleted this scam. Customer support is horrible. There are MAJOR bugs in the game that have been ongoing for over a year. They always lie. Servers have never been upgraded to deal with their horrible lag. Furthermore, the developers are shady and even have their own accounts that come in to cause troubles and wars, and attacking your cities, destroying your armies, in hopes that you will spend more money. I have also witnessed clans outright bribing moderators to mute people they don’t like, and customer support taking no action against this, even when given 100’s of screenshots and videos. In short, this game is nothing more than a pay-to-lose scam that is full of bugs. Lastly, it is coded so poorly, it will eat up your battery, and make your cpu run hot, even when nothing is going on. This is true even on the fastest machines.

I have been playing this game for over a month and develop my player pretty well. I have spent a lot of money on this game and I bought a pack and never received my package. I reached out to the developers and never got a response in four days. Not only did o not receive my $99 package I was charged twice! I was forced to reach out to Apple to get my refund and I did because the developers wouldn’t do it. I went back into the game and bought my pack finally and the next day I have been blocked and banned from playing the game even though it was a developers mistake. I have put about $2000 into this game and now I can’t access it because of their fraudulent charge and I have not gotten a response back. There was no warning nothing not even a review of the situation. I want my account back or full $2000 refund. Please do better.

I’ve only been playing this game for a couple of weeks and it seem to be pretty decent for the most part. I ended up calling out a clan that was breaking every rule of engagement out there, and they still are. Not only did I get muted, because I compared the clan to Joseph Stalin, but now this clan is continuing to bully the entire kingdom, and break every rule of engagement there is. Relentlessly. I’ve spent a lot of money on this game, and I would rather have a refund and delete this game if that’s how it’s going to be, allowing bullies. Just a little hints of advice, do not go to kingdom 115 because the Atlantis clan is the biggest set of bullies out there and they should be banned from the game completely or better yet, don’t play this game because if you compare that clan to the Stalin regime, the moderators will mute you in kingdom chat. And with the amount of money I’ve spent, which is close to a grand maybe you should just refund me

Is Total Battle fun and addictive? Sure, just like gambling.

Is Total Battle buggy? Oh yeah, it’s very buggy. And some of the bugs seem suspiciously engineered to deplete resources you paid real money for. (And good luck getting any relief from Support, who more closely resemble non-player characters capable only of gaslighting and ignoring players.)

Can you play Total Battle for free? Technically, yes. And technically, you can Michelin Star restaurant for free - as long as you don’t order anything off the menu. You have to pay to make Total Battle any fun whatsoever, and not just a little bit. It’s expensive.

To have fun playing Total Battle, the entry cost is $40/month - bare minimum. *Most* players I know spend upwards of $200/month, and I’ve known many who have spent into the thousands.

Can you skirt the expense and grow / have fun without spending money by joining a productive clan? No! That’s the most ridiculous claim imaginable: those clans? The ones who’ll help you grow if you join them? They’re full of paying members, and they are not accepting free-loaders! Sorry! The clans who will have free players are computer-generated or weak, neither of which will help you grow or have fun in this game, so don’t buy that line of nonsense.

Total Battle is a tiny casino masquerading as a game, the crucial difference being that when you go to a casino, you might leave with some winnings. With Total Battle, however, you can only lose.

Go through the reviews. It is a money pit. Support has a hard time contacting you back and they will keep any dime you give them. Intentionally purchased or not. GO TO FORUMS. Do the homework and educate yourself. It’s a shame because the game itself is good. The people behind the game are not as wholesome. The game is set up for you to go to the purchase area every day to gain a free gift. They move the free gift around and if you purchase something where the free gift is, they will not return it. We aren’t talking about a dollar or two purchase. We are talking $50-$100. If you look up the gross income of this company, They have the ability to give you a one time return under the understanding it’s once. They will not even do once. They will quote something to you saying it’s your fault and they can’t take back the items. As if a company that programmed this stuff can’t back track or come to some suitable agreement with you to get it back.

Look at all the Reviews, believe the ones that say this game is a Rip off, there are constant events, in order to participate effectively you have to spend! This is with everything in the game. The packs do not give you enough in them to make it worth the money you spend on them, It’s a suckers game and if you want to waste your money… go right ahead and play this game. They’ll help you waste it. I currently play it and started falling into the spending trap. Don’t even bother just delete TotalBattle if you care to save your money. No game is worth spending $1000 usd on and yet you’ll get suckered into paying more than that a month to stay competitive. And Apple customers look at your bills for them we are charged way more, especially if you're American players ( go figure there!) so before you start playing let me save you the time. Don’t listen to the 5 star reviews. They’re bought and paid for by TotalBattle creators. Listen to the negative comments that where you’ll find the truth.

Total battle blocked my account because I declined a purchase order I didn’t do , I had made a purchase for 4:99 $ and they were trying to pass it for 194:99 $ it’s obvious I declined that purchase and then reached out to support to let them no what has happened and the just sent me a text saying my account was blocked because I violated there refund policy. I since then being trying to talk with support but they simply refuse to respond anything else and bully me or strong arm me if you prefer so I brought all this to iTunes and iTunes will be investigating TB as well for compliance and they are not allowed to freeze my account that I spent so much money on as well. Apparently there are other similar complaints iTunes received and if you are one that’s been bullied in this way call iTunes and let them know as a 3 rd party they operate under apple iTunes umbrella to some extent as for compliance. Bottom line it’s not legal for them to do so and iTunes is providing a refund to my account as well . Please don’t be afraid and don’t let TB bully you stand up for yourself and call iTunes they will help and also investigate the matter, the more people let iTunes know the better it will be for everyone who plays TD to be treated properly. As to support from total battle they still haven’t responded to me , I suggested to all to do a 72 hour boycott on any purchases .

There is a problem in form and content, this game is good in shape but the content is not realistic, there are gaps in the game program, and bugs and disconnecting from server itself , so you will lose what you get , spending money a lot for nothing , as player we are playing to have fun and informing others about any problem May came a cross , there is inaccuracy of the calculation of points and the value of the achieved goals, the communication is depending entirely on your purchases. Spend more money you get communication with other players which we don’t even really know if they are real players or from people who’s on the game , For the offers they are drained quickly and even the shield is for 7 days but actually it’s less than that , and there is no real calculation of the quantities of the given gifts , they are not counted, When you contact the supporter they will start to say anything except to solve the problems which they had , it’s total money not total battle , I don’t recommended it to any one till the developer will adjust all issues in this game and being clear. I advice each one don’t lose your money on nothing , you can have fun in any other games , I consider this as if it’s a cheating on the person just to get his or her money and no one can point that to them saying it’s server !! Sorry I have very bad experience with this game and totally I don’t think it’s an honest game . One star only because the music was sounding good .

This game is not the cute little intro that you see in all of their ads. It’s not the nice little logic game using math against time to increase your stick man army size and defeat a cute little enemy as you cross bridges, avoid obstacles, and do math in your head on the fly. If that’s all it was, it would’ve been good because that’s the only reason I signed up for this game. But that’s like one percent of what the game is actually about. And it’s not cheap. This game is a money pit! It’s extremely confusing, ambiguous, difficult, and blind. There are no Help screens to speak of. The objective of the game is extremely obscure. Advancing in the game is nearly impossible without dumping hundreds and hundreds of dollars into it. Furthermore, other players are constantly attacking you and destroying the things that you have paid for with hard cash. So unless you have $1 million you don’t know what to do with, just stay away from this game. Now I’m sure that the developers are going to attach a paragraph at the end of this saying that the game is free to play. This is a lie. Repeat! THIS IS A LIE!! it is impossible to play this game for free for very long and not find yourself cornered at a point where you are forced to buy their upgrades. Just stay away from this game. You’ll be glad you did.

I have been playing Total Battle for since mid August of 2023. My journey has been a fairly fun ride and enjoyable ride. The kingdoms have a set of rules of engagement that expected, demanded and enforced by these extremely powerful players that become kings of the player kingdoms. Of course this game has several different events that are enjoyable too if you have the right troops for, this is the game developers trap! In order to enjoy these events the developers offer different packages that can be purchased for $100 dollars or $50 price points. These packages can and bring your game to certain growths, these are great and can be fun too. Until, you reach a certain growth point and level and are identified as being a successful player. Then everything that you physically pay towards the buying of these event packages can be taken away by people from around the world that do not obide by the RoE that is emplaced and that is enforced the aforementioned king or by the community that has to vote for him. The game has several exploits that these players can control, and there absolutely zero recourse for the recovery of your investment into the game by the support staff.

First: this game has guilt to collect money in different ways in the coat of a “game”. This is not a real game, you can’t play actually without paying a lot. You will not reach anything without paying a lot.
It uses dirty tricks to collect money. If you collect resources at least one will be missing and even you wait weeks you will not able to collect the missing items without payment.
If you pay the algorithm will follow you. It will pretend that the game is “frozen”, you have to restart. While you restart – it will take a time and have to restart several times – one of the “enemy” (actually the owner created player) will attack you and rob you. It means that you have to pay again. You will always get an attack when you are offline.
Read the comments, several players paid THOUSANDS of dollars without reaching anything.
Best method is:
– Don’t pay anything.
– Stay in the city under the shield and don’t collect resources when you are offline.
– Be careful when you are online. return to the city very often – if you will not do the game will “freeze” and you will be robbed.

I wrote to the Apple as this game is an illegal gambling actually – nothing more.

You will spend a lot of time being sucked into this game and it can be fun for the first couple weeks. Then once your city shield goes away, everyone that has been playing for months/years attacks you. Kept having level 22+ players attack (which is like having an NFL team play a 3rd grade pee wee team) and made countless hours worth of work to my city and supplies useless since they take all of your supplies. Even after joining an alliance/clan, I was attacked by others within the same so called alliance. Mind you, all I did was keep to myself and try to grow my city and in no way tried to start anything. Point is, they supposedly have ROE (rules of engagement) but it’s the Wild West and no one or no alliance/clan follows them. Unless you like to waste weeks of your time to have it all taken away, this game isn’t worth it.

If you have plenty of free time, add disposable income. This is the game for you. Read some of the developers responses to negative reviews. My favorite “ with a well thought out strategy and tactics. You can level up as fast as all other players” . This is true. As fast as all other players that don’t spend money! I played this game. If you don’t spend money, the odds are against you. The negative ratings are true for the most part. The developers responses have a little truth in them. I hope this helps you make a decision about playing this game.

As the game offers monstrous purchase options, it brings out the worst in many players.
Instead of using strategy, good building balance and long term planning, players spend money and buy ridiculous upgrades. Then using the unearned upgrades, pick on players who have not chosen to purchase their “power”.
Not too mention the constant off-color remarks, racist remarks and sexual comments. The game chat is horribly off putting. It seriously needs moderation.
I would rather pay to play an “even” game than put up with this mess! Played for a week hoping it would get better, it just got worse.
Stay away unless you enjoy spending a load of cash to defend yourself and like racist and overtly sexual chat!

Valor Points which are key to upgrading and especially doing research are the most difficult to obtain in large quantities. When researching a specific item that requires 450,000 VPs, but only acquire a couple thousand from attacking monsters of level 9 or higher. The problem is you can’t attack higher than level 9 monsters, until you have researched level 2 on your troops which require 450,000 VPs. If you have deep pockets, then you can buy enough packages that offer valor points but if you don’t, then you’ll be stuck at a level 1 on your troops indefinitely.

Total garbage. Wasn’t even close to the trailer. Trailer I saw you drew streets this game it is all preset. Totally pay to win. Shops don’t give enough resources to build with. You are assigned quests that you can’t do. So you lose entire armies just trying to do what the game asks you to. Then it is impossible to farm enough iron to replace what you lost. They tried to put everything they ever saw on a strategy game in one format. The net result is so much garbage going on you can’t remember what you were trying to do. Seriously there are a ton of better games out there don’t waste your time.

I’ve been trying to play this game for 3 weeks and I can’t get anything done unless I pay for materials which they don’t give you a lot . Then I e been getting attacked and can’t actually do anything about it because the game crashes so much . Then ontop of that when I follow the instructions on how to fix the game ( and I did EVERYTHING including delete and reinstall, click repair game on the game etc ) I get NOWHERE. Still the same problem so honestly JUST DONT DO IT. There’s too many bugs and you have to spend way too much money to get anywhere.

I spent over 170$ usd in the last week and a half only to not get chest and be told the entire list of kingdoms rules … threatened by people from other countries to be kicked opened a ticket posting my bank statements saying I was screwed out from what I purchased only to hear *crickets* it’s worse than game of war and by my math if you spent every waking second on the game in a clan would probably take 11 years before you could defend yourself from a new player that spends a few hundred /thousand dollars … wanna loose money and have rules strict like China then welcome home , this is not a fair game and not fun … I just wish I could get the time and money I spent in last few weeks mins you my kingdom is lvl 23 hero lvl 30-40 .. no thanks real life calls ! Look around this is not gunna work as a whole and these f’d game developers cash grab and toss people …

An entertaining game with a few operating glitches. Most notably that sometimes you will be charged for the free in game purchases. Although it is a small amount it adds up over time and is deceitful. Also the other day I was charged ten times the cost of the in game purchase. Reaching out to Apple is useless. “All sales are final” they say. Reaching out to the game development team is equally fruitless. The first technician said it was impossible and then never returned my email correspondence. Another attempt to reach out to developers was answered “we will contact you shortly”. Well that was a week ago.
I would think they would want to resolve this issue with the game. In my opinion it is theft. Other issues of note are that the in game chat is sometimes not working as it should. Game has normal lag issues most games have from time to time.
If the in game purchase problem is resolved. It is a good game. Note that I have talked to several people in the game and it seems to be a problem only with IOS system users.

Worst game experience and environment ever.
Very unorganized seems to be predator based game where the higher organized ranking players control how the game is actually played. “The kings court” will hold you “accountable” for attacking another player and you are bullied to pay for “damages” or resources lost in the game during battle. None of the following is disclosed in the ToS or in how to play the game.
Apparently each “world” has different “RoE” “Rules of engagement” which now changes how the game is designed to be played and what is expected of you and how much you need to pay them to stay playing. The “players” will ask to be paid in game resources. If you do not pay they make it hard to play this game as players with higher ranks will bully you to play and pay them. Players set up multiple accounts to keep up the amount of numbers to dominate other players. Some offer for you to buy resources from them from their websites posted in the game chat. Even for other player’s actions that maybe on your team. You are harassed and bullied until you pay in game resources. If you do not pay the other players will make it so difficult to play you will want to quit.
You don’t know or can you Identify who is the games admin or is it just another player in the game telling you to pay. You will also be harassed from other players asking for WhatsApp information in the game and clan chats. Worst experience in any game I’ve played.

This game is not free to play at all. It’s a black hole if you want to progress. Particularly the seasonal kingdom. In order to get higher level troops you have to construct buildings. In order to do that you need to buy speed up bonus and blue prints. Such a money grab. It’s bad enough that I buy for regular accounts and then they create the seasonal where they double dip. Such a disadvantage to ost or high level players who constantly attack. It’s really not worth it or fun anymore. Also they don’t allow chat search anymore which simply protects attackers. Can’t find enemies without searching chat. They do this to prevent spam ads. Spam was mildly annoying but they throw baby out with bath water by over reaction bad strategy. Seems like in the era of AI they could more easily target spam advertisements rather than penalize legitimate players from searching chat channels for information. That was fun aspect of game that they removed with no warning or consideration.

I was playing for over a month now and all of a sudden lost everything after the upgrade..can’t start from scratch…such minor things really forced me to uninstall the game now.

Even though got a response from developer but it was just generic that issue fixed but when I start the game it begins from scratch everytime. Even if the games in not linked to an email or Facebook but the device installation is something which should NOT restart after any upgrade.

This game does not reward skill, but rather prioritizes the offline time elapsed and the money spent.

In response to the developer comment:
> When starting a round, if the player does not have the satisfactory minimum number of units to win even if they hit all multipliers correctly, this may as well be a bug.
> Due to the above, it should be impossible to start a round without first having the minimum number of units possible to succeed.
> To make this skill based rather than pay to win, the starting unit count should never matter as long as the player plays perfectly.
> Whatever monetization you wish to use should rather have the bonus rewards affected/have extra units to forgive mistakes and not be the determining factor for whether the level can be completed or not.

I downloaded this game because I saw an ad for it on Facebook where you had a huge army of soldiers going across different bridges to multiply or reduce your army. I had to check 3x I was playing the game in the trailer because it’s been a week of playing and mine doesn’t look like that at all. There’s a lot of other stuff going on in the game, but the wait times are sometimes a day or 2 to build something, unless you pay real money to speed it up. Very disappointing.

Have played this game for about two months now but WILL SOON DELETE FOR THESE REASONS 1. PRICEY: Too pricey to play competitively ($40 gone too quickly). 2. COMPLICATED: Half the time I’m left to wonder, “What is happening?” 3. CATCHY: Way too many catches, just to accomplish one goal! WOW! I have to complete three to five things just to complete upgrading a building or building my army, or fill-in-the-blank. That's where Pricey and Complicated join hands to make this game unsustainable. 4. SUPPORT: Have been waiting two weeks for a response to a question…and still no reply.

This game tends to be highly repetitive, monotonous and can get down right boring as each week you play the same events over and over and over. Also, do not expect to make it far in this game unless you are prepared to send A LOT of money. And on top of this, it has constant bug issues with every update. The latest one has had me stuck in a never ending loop of “Reload” so I have not been able to get into the game for over 6 hours and counting! This may be my last straw with this game. I only stuck it out this far because I have made some nice friends in my clan.

I’ve been playing this game for two weeks and was enjoying it. I even bought some upgrades to advance even quicker. However, one aspect of the game that can ruin your experience is against other players.

Part of how you advance in the game is by attacking other players to gain a certain type of experience points. However, many players have Rules of Engagement, which state that if you attack them, they will send their most powerful clan members to attack you back. These players may be 100x stronger than you and can crush days worth of your time and effort in 30 seconds. It’s incredibly frustrating and is confusing as to how you are supposed to attack other players when the playing field can be so incredibly skewed towards those who have likely spent hundreds of dollars and hours playing.
That being said, as fun as this game has been, I’m ready to call it quits.

the developers claim it can be played without money, but many important features are only available for $.

Also, unlike similar games, you can only do important tasks one at a time — like builders, troop training, etc. At least provide a queue feature, so when one task finishes, another will be started right away without you having to constantly watch. If there is something like this, it did not show up when I searched in TotalBattle and on websites.

I only downloaded this game because I want to play the mini games where you drive an army over numbers to increase the army size and battle the opposing army. I finished all the levels available and now I’m blocked. I did not realize this was just a mini game and now I have to grind the main game to unlock more mini game levels. I really don’t want to.

The rest of the game seems like click and grind like a more complicated farmville. Actions in the game take minutes to hours. If you want to speed things up, you have to pay.

The graphics and story isn’t even that great and the stats are too complicated for a mobile game. I don’t get the incentive to play this competitively. It’s not fun.

Cost prohibitive play. For example. You have to revive soldiers lost in “ruthless battle” and the cost is more gold than you could buy with ten dollars for a single event. Yet your hero gets a minuscule amount of valor points. This game pillages your pocket book and rapes your wallet. Good game but no fun because designers got greedy. 👎🏻 It’s a great game, but the designers trying to sell you on a clan are just doing so, because they know peer pressure will cause you to spend even more. This game is great, but unless you are wealthy, you can forget it. It will cost you hundreds of dollars to play. Given the choices out there, there are far cheaper and equally fun ways to entertain myself. As for the 4.5 stars, there are a ton of negative reviews, so I question these review numbers. This game was ruined by pure greed.

This game would be much better if it was more possible to earn gold coins to keep the momentum going.
A lot of the time the rewards you earn are not given to you. Ie: gold earned in an achievement is never appended to your account. This happens constantly and players end up purchasing resources because contacting the deverloper is a time wasted nightmare.

I kept playing, several tournaments to keep the momentum going…. It’s a bit expensive to play but better than others. I would suggest that as captains level up and the cost of building goes up that the amount of gold earned in quests also increase accordingly.

Good game with tons of potential. What everybody says about having to spend money is much correct. If you’re not willing to spend 20 bucks a month, you can’t play this game. Someone will always spend more money than you in this game. It certainly gives advantage to those who are willing to pay more. It seems like the creators of the game are money driven and not interested in helping people play for free or for little.

This game is a good game but it does have its flaws with some glitches. I have opened a portal once and teleported my city to that location during COT. I was attacked and lost a lot of troops. I reported this to support a week or so ago and I still haven’t heard back from them. I bought a package to revive my troops due to this issue. I was seeking fair compensation but still no answer. I also bought a packaged once and didn’t get all my stuff right away. Support really needs to up their game to respond. Other then that is a good game very similar to Game of Thrones.

The game is fun to play there’s no doubt. That’s the good. It’s also frustrating at times. Larger players that have been playing a while or that have unlimited bank accounts can easily wipe out smaller players just getting started because there are ZERO limitations placed on higher level players to prevent them from abusing. And in my opinion, most of the players that eventually leave the game do so for that reason and so much because of the cost. It can give players the impression they are throwing their money away due to the inequity of power so why continue to play. For example, players that are over 100 levels in strength can attack and wipe out smaller players that are at only levels 15 or 10 or even lower. That part of the game is just ridiculous. Several suggestions that I think would improve that aspect of the playing experience have gone unanswered. That’s the bad.

It’s fun up to a point. The thing I really dislike about it, is that you are forced to upgrade everything the same as every other player. The game won’t let you pick your own strategy, and strengthen one area of the game over another. That means you have zero advantages against a stronger player. When someone wants to attack my city, and they see I am level 29, they know I don’t have any troops higher than a level 5. They know what is the maximum level my walls, they know that my technologies are up to a certain level. There should be some sort of surprise when someone who is level 200 hero attacks your level 90 hero. Like if I had built up my walls, or had some strong swordsmen waiting with great weaponry. Then I would at least get something out of it, and the attacker would at least take some damage. There should be a weapon that we can forge, that will defend against the first stack of troops that attack—which is usually their most powerful, and usually their mercenaries . So guaranteed that the attacker loses one whole stack. Maybe it only works when the attacker has a greater level hero than the defender hero by a certain amount. Or greater power and might. So right now my might is at 20 million, but I get attacked by those who are at 100 million. When it is so mismatched like that, we should have a secret defense against that. We would probably still lose the battle, but we would get some conquest points, and not be such an easy target.

This game is a lot of fun it’s very addicting. There are so many features, and so much to learn. The community of other players are fun and gracious. That said it’s very expensive to play. There are other games out there that are not as bad maybe they don’t have the same features, but they have similar but cost less. I know I know you don’t have to pay to play, but let’s be real. If you’re going to advance in any way where you can play it functionally every day you’re gonna need to make purchases and that’s the way this game is set up. When you attack or other people attack you the loss of resources is rather significant and unless you’re gonna do one or two attacks a day you’re gonna need to purchase more resources. I think that’s the biggest drawback of this game because there are other games out there that are just as fun and you can play them every day and go a month without spending money. This is balanced the other way.

I found this game when I was looking for something to play that didn’t require large chunks of time to play. I no longer have the ability to invest three or four hours to one raid. I am happy that there are multiple facets. Battles, crafting. Resource collecting. Story and mini games. Though I had hoped the mini games would continue. I seem to be at a standstill on that front having completed the floating palace mini game and to a more levels coming soon on the crypt mini game.

My problem is the delayed response on support tickets. I put my first contact in over a week ago about a charge discrepancy in the package I purchased and the amount that appears as I paid. The reality this is a came that requires some additional purchases and as someone who has paid gaming subscriptions for over twenty years I expect to pay in reason. But I also expect these changes to be correct.

At this point I would greatly appreciate my ticket to be addressed and either the charges corrected or packages add to my account to compensate for the difference.

Everyone who says this game is expensive is telling the truth. The community in the game is a double edged sword. If it weren’t for the other players the game would be a dud. But it’s that loyalty which makes you want to spend money and achieve. You cannot play this game for free without getting progressively frustrated and drop out, it’s just the reality of how the game is designed, and I know plenty of players who try to limit themselves to under $100 per week, which is still difficult. In 8 months it’s easy to max out cards and credit limits in this game. So don’t believe it when the developers say there are ‘ways’ to play that are less expensive. Players have scores in the billions and trillions, and if your player is in the tens of thousands in score, you can quickly see there is no comparison. You spend to advance and win. Bottom line. It’s also addictive because the relationships that develop between players. So buyer beware.

Though it says it’s a free game it’s not. The reason I say this cause if u want to advance u got to buy the packs to do so. Your always advancing then once your defense bubble breaks or is up after 7 days anyone can attack u. I do mean anyone this is where I think it’s wrong within this game and where u gots to spend $$$ on packs. Or u can live in a bubble only breaking it then re applying it after u attacked those U can attack. If u going to spend money on them packs I would suggest u buy the most expensive first unless u know u not going to put that type of money into this game. I know I wish I did but oh well too late now.

There are lots of simple fun activities in the game and an ability to join clans and connect with people. However, it is obvious you will just be frustrated if you don’t pay to pay. Developers continue to respond that the game is free to play, but either it takes you so long to do anything or you can’t get/find the gear you need, there just aren’t good ways to be competitive with spending a lot of money. Contrast this to a console game, which typically have way better graphics and game mechanics, but you pay a onetime fee for the, typically $50-$100, but then you get to play unlimited. Mobile app developers have found a way to milk too much money out of people, but I’m sure the trend will turn back around. Spending $100-$300/wk on a mobile game (or any game) is ridiculous other than for the rich with money to burn.

I saw this in a ad and installed it, bought some pack for $4.99, played for 7 days had the best time ever, then decided to delete it.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to play given the free waiting times, it’s like the game devs don’t want you to play if you’re not going to pay.

Every possible action you make, there will be waiting times, they get longer and longer the more you progress through the game.
You do get speed-up bonuses, but if you play for a few hours you’ll run through them all and sit with nothing to do.

I’m writing this as I sent my Captains to gather materials from Mines. They will take about 15-45mins to get there, take 1-2hour gathering mats, then another 15-45mins going back to the city. Then I’ll use those mats to upgrade some building in my city, and wait for up to 4 days (you can’t upgrade anything else while waiting for something to upgrade).

Again, I don’t want to be a sore hater, because I really really really loved the game when all those waiting times (especially Marching) were ten times shorter. Or when I fought a battle I could actually reasonably revive my army without having to pay 15K gold.

I get you have to get paid, but do you not want free players at all…?
Honestly I would’ve continued to buy things in the game if the base experience was reasonably playable for free.

I really enjoy playing this game! My problem is with hunting citadels. I wish I had the ability to store what troops and numbers I am using to hunt Elven or cursed citadels and change as I get stronger. Having to set the troop stacks keeps me from playing longer. I wish I had a location in the game to select Elven 30, put in troops types and troop amounts and save. Do that for 4 other citadel types and when I go hunting for Elven 30, select the citadel and troop stack number would be there and just send. If numbers fall below needed my numbers needed it could show that I am missing the numbers needed. That would make it to where I could play longer

Not every aspect of this game is enjoyable as the players game progresses and one levels up, the resources dwindle until one has to spend money to keep up in game. It is actually Not a Free game to play because it will eventually force to oay or lose most of all you have from the players who spend a lot of money on game. I also suspect that those who developed game are some of those who hold all the power in game. It is not an easy game to understand or even play, as many play from around world and the translation device is lacking at best. The rules are difficult to follow especially when clans add to the game rules mKing layers to rules upon rules. Much of game is enjoyable but as your fort levels up, the less enjoyable it becomes because you will not have all you need to continue game without spending a lot of $$$$$$ money! Learn as ya go and find yourself indebted if you want to continue in game. It is NOT a FREE game.

I’m a real weird case here, I downloaded to see if it actually had those math levels as advertised, But that’s just a small part of it, The meat of the game is your city and building, strengthening, Forging, Crafting and so forth…I don’t like strategy games, I’ve honestly never been into them but this one sucked me in like others haven’t. It’s true that it’s not a cheap game at all and not beginner friendly but I catch on fast since I’ve been playing video games since 1990 lol, But in all honesty it’s a great game underneath the layers of paywalls. I’ve supported the devs with $10 but I’ve seen ads where only people do really well in this terrible economy would find to be decent prices, they’re steep. Really really steep. I bought 2 items because why not I support devs these games cost money, just think of the players as well because if it’s too much I rather play a console game, but I’m sticking with this as long as the greed doesn’t overtake the experience! Great game though

This is an enjoyable game to play. I am still learning the different ways to engage the gameplay. As with almost all games, if you pay to purchase items you will advance faster and further. But this game does not require you to do that if you are content with building and growing at a regular pace. I enjoy it and have yet to spend any money, (don’t hold that against me :-) ). Overall the developers have done an amazing job and I appreciate their effort to continue to make improvements. Only in a world like this can you be given a FREE, highly technical game and give it one star because you can not advance as fast as people paying for upgrades. This is well worth the download, enjoy the game play, pay if you want to advance faster, or don’t and just have fun, and delete TotalBattle if you get bored, and your out nothing. Thank you to all those people behind the scenes of this game, you are definitely doing it right!

I really enjoy playing Total Battle. I’m not one for social media but I love my clan and clan mates so it makes logging on each day a lot of fun. As far as the other comments about it being costly, that’s really up to you. There are ways to get the things you need but you have to play every day and complete your daily tasks to get them. I recommend you join an active clan. I get close to 300 chests per day being in my clan. This gives me most of what I need to grow, and we get more during certain events. Again you can’t get them if you don’t play. I do spend money on the golden pass. It’s $20 per season which is about a month long. You double your rewards with this pass. If you like strategy games and are looking to meet some great people in the total battle community from all over the world then this game is for you. My only suggestion would be implementing some kind of a warning when your shield of peace is close to expiration. This would give you time to prepare a new shield or at least make sure you have time to use up resources.

So thank you for making me math! Lol. I wish once you first get to your city there was more explanation. It was push this, then that other thing, then that other thing. I would have like an intro of the icons and what they do. now that I sort of know how the game works I’d like to start over.
I tried to search in the rules or how to do things but I did not find it helpful. My last go at something close to this is Pirates and Zeus so probably not used to how basic things in games work anymore.
A little more world building in the front would be helpful I enjoyed it until I ran out of things and then didn’t understand how to get more. I’m sure I’ll get back to it because it is fun.

I love the game, great creation, great content. A lot of reading to do to understand how a lot of things work, to some can be an overnight thing, to other with less time is a little by little process. The ONLY thing I dislike about the game is the pricing, it is very expensive to play. The battles cost a lot of money due to the chances of losing are great (attacking other players is the best way for you to progress quicker, it shouldn’t be that way but that how it is 🤷🏻‍♂️). Every time you lose a battle of you have no coins, you’re up for deception.

The other thing is the amount of soldiers you lose forever on a constant basis. There are soldiers you revive but not in its entirety.

I sent a suggestion to the game creators where the gold ingots we produce in our city could be exchanged for coins and a Tax portion can go to the King’s for the Kingdom’s Government.

Each player produces a lot of Gold but you can’t use it but to pay taxes and when you become somehow important in the Kingdom’s dowline.

When a player attacks your City, that player can steal all of your gold having you to start from cero all over again.

Conclusion, a couple of game disappointments but the highlighted one is definitely the price to pay to play. I read once of the game creators commented to someone that there is no need to spend money but without you spending money, you can’t enjoy of most of the advantages and fun of the game.

Total Battle is a great game! There are a couple of matters that should be looked at, and adjusted. Every kingdom has player created and enforced rules of engagement. If one chooses not to abide by the rules of engagement, they subject themselves to being made and “Outlaw.” If one is declared and outlaw, the outlawed player can be attacked repeatedly and relentlessly looted. This looting can be particularly frustrating if the looted player spent a lot of money acquiring items. Gold ingots ought to be convertible to gold coins within individual players castles. Enforcement of taxes should always be a matter of the castles deciding how much contribute to the kingdom, but the ingots should not be otherwise worthless. After a certain level, it becomes very difficult to grow one’s avatar. Requiring Billions of points seems excessive. Overall the game is quite entertaining.

The game is grate! It keeps you entertained with many different things!!! I’m superior and diplomat of my clan! The technical support never answers your messages if you have a technical issue. I can’t enter the map and play the game.. I stay inside my castle and wait the technical support to answer me.. if I lost my account (it already happened with another account) what will happen with the money I spent .. again.. I like this game so much so I’m trying to wait.. question? If you have two accounts under one profile, how can you delete one of the accounts?

I find Total Battle a rather addictive, fun and satisfying from the norm, game to play. I understand that games are created to make money, however, when a player such as myself decides to take that journey on just have yet to see the return on my investment. I think players who wholeheartedly support the game should be rewarded in kind. I just have not gotten that feeling from this game. I have made many lifelong friends from around the world, but I still feel when a company has players who don’t mind supporting the game and provide a substantial investment, the developers should reward those individuals for such support.

It’s pretty fun and entertaining (and I typically don’t play a lot of phone games other than solitaire or word games). Obviously if you’re not willing to spend money, your not going to advance super quick. It’s going to take time. But you can still advance and build up a pretty decent kingdom. In this fast pace, “I want it NOW” world we live in, this is a nice humbling game for people like me who refuse to spend money on phone games. It reminds you that good things take time and hard work and the fun is in the journey. All-in-all, I enjoy it. I’m a little confused about some aspects of it, but that’s just because I’m slightly technology illiterate.

This is one that has kept me entertained for a few hours now. Sure it advertises for you to spend money, but at least a the beginning stage I haven’t had to spend any money. The game seems interesting and keeps you thinking. I will write a better review once I learn how to play and see it this game keeps my interest. So far I would recommend it to others.

Total Battle also provides a platform for engaging with other players as allies and enemies. It allows for different playing styles. I am constantly finding new and varied challenges to overcome.

I love this game. I play this game more then watching tv. When I started playing I started small and worked my way up. By joining a clan, the clans people help you grow and you meet people around the world. I have been playing this game for 3 1/2 years. Very enjoyable game to play. I can’t turn it off. I can spend hours playing.

The tutorial walks you through as you play in the beginning and you can veer off and do your own thing only to come back and have it lead you if you like with following the prompts. I recommend following the prompts in the beginning because it sets you up to not loose as much inventory on things not needed at that moment to advance in the game. Very similar to other strategy type games such as Evony, so you enjoy playing that game then you will for sure love this game but there are things that make this game unique in its own right that you won’t find in other games such as the puzzle feature and chapter narrative setup.

Sometimes I think people forget that these games cost money to create. There are real people with real jobs creating the experience. In most cases we either pay a fee or we must endure the ads that pay their bills. A fair trade I think.

Total Battle, however, does not do this. They do an amazing job providing an ad free experience whether you pay for the game or not. I have never felt like I’ve reached a ceiling where I either have to pay or remain stuck as some other games do. Yet if I wanted the convenience and instant riches to advance faster I can always spend money to acquire it. But have yet to feel it is necessary to enjoy the game and advance.

I am playing this game to see if anyone can possibly play for a long time for free or will you HAVE to pay sooner or later. Well, so far so free. I’ve played for about 8 months or so I think and haven’t spent a penny. Of course if you want things to speed up, you can buy just about anything. The ONLY downside so far is these super strong players that obviously paid to get everything and attack you, you’ll never beat ‘em. But in summation, yes you definitely can do it for free and it’s a beautiful game with LOTS to do. So with that said, it HAS to be a 5 star game.
