I paid and was charged for the subscription features. But I haven’t been able to use any of it. It’s getting frustrating being charged for a feature I can’t use. I always get the “error try again later” response when I try to access it

I like the concept of SmallTalk, but I’ve frequently decided to check the source on some facts that surprise me to find that the fact in SmallTalk is either not true or only partially true. The facts shown in SmallTalk tend to make generalized conclusions from the source that may not always be completely correct. Or, sometimes the fact is just plain wrong. Seems like a small team picking out things they find interesting and sending them to SmallTalk , regardless of how closely the statement is accurately reflecting the source. Love the concept, just don’t feel like I can trust it.

I love your app, especially the great UI! Here’s what’s missing for me to really enjoy it:
- When I try to share a quote, I only want to be able to do it via text. You can do that right now but it is confusing to get to. Then when I click to share it pulls up an advertisement for your app. Of course I don’t want to share three paragraphs about SmallTalk . It also doesn’t include the actual quote I was on and wanted to share. This is a big flaw. I wanted to share one of the things that I found but couldn’t because of that! I ended up highlighting the text and copying it myself.
- I tried to give you this feedback within SmallTalk so I wouldn’t have to give you a poor review, but I couldn’t find anywhere to do that so I ended up here.

Unable to contact whoever is involved with information accuracy as I’ve found a “tip of the day” that is not sourced and upon researching found it has no scientific backing at all. Please only include accurate information for the betterment of the community

I look forward to great bits of knowledge and even some humor
which are delivered to my phone at my specified time each day.
Fun way to add new way of thinking , learn something new, and even a fun joke.

Why is print so tiny and fine on word of the day. Very hard for vision Impaired users. Rest of app is in larger bolder print.

I can't really say there's much wrong with SmallTalk . I'm sure they'll update it and make it sleeker and such in due time. One thing I dislike is that there are repeats of stuff a bit more frequently than I'd like.

The option to add a widget! Other than that, SmallTalk is literally exactly what I needed to add a bit of knowledge, humor and inspiration to each day. You rock!

I have loved this little
App from the beginning! Even the “dad” jokes make me laugh! The only problem I have had was that sometimes I don’t receive the current day’s offerings and I can’t figure out why! Otherwise, love Small Talk and recommend it often!

I downloaded SmallTalk for the widgets. The title font “word of the day” “inspiration” etc. is a bit difficult to read and unpleasant given the shadow effect used. And sometimes with the inspiration widget it will show all the author info but the quote or saying is cut off and you have to open SmallTalk to see it. I rather see the full quote rather than the author and his ten titles. Just some minor issues I hope could be addressed in an overall great app so far.

Awesome app would be a little better if you guys added like a thought provoking question or statement! Something that could be used to strike a conversation. Maybe something along the lines of Theories, I.E. (people rememebr looney toons over looney tunes but only one is correct. This is the Mandela effect) this would be a cool addition for thought that would make people think!

I’ve been looking for an app like this for ages! I’m so pleased with it: it’s simple, it’s interesting, it’s fun. I love each of the sections, I downloaded it for the facts but I’m really enjoying the tips and jokes sections too. I actually wish there was a paid version so I could support the developer! Thanks so much!!

I enjoy starting each day with SmallTalk. SmallTalk fulfills its mission by providing me with six items of interest to read and it only takes a moment of my time. Keep up the great work!

I never write reviews but as my daily dose of knowledge arrived today I realized how happy it made me! Perfect amount of fun facts and the “today on this day” part is super interesting. And I love the no ads! Keep going!

I just downloaded SmallTalk last week and I am having a lot of fun with each of the categories learning new things every day. It’s a part of my morning routine!

You can schedule it to show up at the same time everyday. Some points are relevant, word of the day is helpful, inspiration is uplifting.

I really enjoy the simplicity of the design & the content it provides daily. There’s always room for improvement. I would add a bonus item to the daily content. I check SmallTalk every day to start my day. Keep up the work & I expect big updates in the future.

I finally found something that is entertaining and educating at the same time. This is the best app for those people that look forward to learning something new, laugh a little bit and keep their brains active. I look forward to keep using it on a daily basis, and I hope it only gets better.

with the coronavirus pandemic going on, i wanted to find an app that would still let me stimulate my brain on a day to day basis without enrolling in a rigorous course. i get my small talk notification and it does just that — teaches me something new each day, which leads to me finding out more about that topic. it’s a great app that i recommend to everyone!

SmallTalk is a great way to start my morning. The jokes are horrible, but everything else helps me learn just a little bit more everyday.
