I saw an advertisement about HoloCamLidar3D on Snapchat that showed a background syncing it’s movement to the music playing on the screen. Sparking my interest, I just now installed HoloCamLidar3D and it opened to a page saying I had to pay a subscription to be able to use HoloCamLidar3D . The splash screen also stated a 3-DAY FREE TRIAL. I read the fine print and it also stated that the subscription had to be cancelled a DAY BEFORE (24 HOURS) the subscription was going to charge my account. I signed up for the free trial and opened up to the biggest scam ever. HoloCamLidar3D is just a VR app that places emojis and text over your camera view and you can either choose to film or take photos. I immediately went to my settings and viewed my subscription so I could cancel it but it read “RENEWS DECEMBER 23, 2020.” The apps SCAMS you into purchasing the yearly subscription immediately without a free trial. Biggest scam on HoloCamLidar3D store and I plan to file complaints until HoloCamLidar3D removes its fake splash page and it’s fake advertisements. 0 STARS.

If I could give this 0 stars I would, this has to be the biggest scam in HoloCamLidar3D Store I have ever seen. I saw HoloCamLidar3D in dec of 2019 and downloaded it thinking it had the cool background for your phone that played music and had emojis jumping around but no that’s not it. I saw that advertisement on Snapchat and when I downloaded HoloCamLidar3D it said I had to pay for a 3 week trial and the same day I canceled it so it wouldn’t renew my subscription. I don’t know how I missed it when I canceled it but i looked at my purchases today and it says there is no trial and it automatically made me pay for the yearly subscription. HoloCamLidar3D is trash and it doesn’t even do what it advertised. It’s a vr camera recording app that you can use to just put stickers on the screen. 10/10 would love to have a refund. 🙄

HoloCamLidar3D is by far awful, total crap waste, and despicable. I’ve seen dumpster fires with more to offer. It’s isn’t user friendly at all. Not to mention, it said a free 3 day trial- I was immediately charged. Massive waste of $30. Figuring out how to report this trash right now and praying I can get my money back. It does not live up to it’s advertisement in the least. If I could give this piece of roadside trash negative stars, I would even give THAT a second thought because giving HoloCamLidar3D anything other than the truth of a of an accurate review is more than enough. Don’t waste your time or money. Oh and the users that give it 5 stars clearly work for the developer, so they’re furthering their fraud with ‘buddy nudges’

HoloCamLidar3D isn’t good. I saw a advertisement on Snapchat of a wallpaper moving at music played in the background and a second one of someone moving there phone as a 3D wallpaper moved in that movement. I downloaded HoloCamLidar3D to see I have to have a subscription to use HoloCamLidar3D . I was able to avoid this by the X in the top right corner that they try and hide with a moving screen with a white background. After setting up everything in settings HoloCamLidar3D isn’t what it says it is in the Snapchat advertisement. All it is, is a app where you used your camera to use 3D emojis in videos and photos. I recommend not to download HoloCamLidar3D unless you want to take photos that you can easily take with Snapchat!

So like many of the reviews I read, I found HoloCamLidar3D because of the advertisement on Snapchat where you can have a wallpaper that tilts with the movement and matches the beat of whatever song you’re playing. I can’t say it’s false advertising, because, I wasn’t even able to get farther than the first screen that pulls up once you download it.
The first page offers a 3 day free trial which then goes to a year subscription for $30.
I’m the kind of person who doesn’t go for in-app payments so this was really annoying because I was expecting a free app, to some degree but I literally couldn’t do ANYTHING without choosing the free trial.
I immediately deleted it.

HoloCamLidar3D is the best AR app in HoloCamLidar3D Store. While the square video format is somewhat limiting the single ability to freehand draw on the image ( in AR ) has great productivity potential. HoloCamLidar3D runs smoothly and is relatively well polished.
I fail to understand the lack of reviews because this is truly an excellent application and I expect these guys are working hard to make it even better. I believe these people are some pretty good coders. They are going to engineer some good stuff. Check it out.

I hate HoloCam because it’s just it doesn’t do what I did in the video I can’t walk next to emoji’s and stuff and it being like oh yeah OK yeah blah blah blah blah it’s just doesn’t work I hate it I gave it one star because you know I keep repeating I can’t give it stars because like it stinks so much you don’t want to get it it’s smells like rotten eggs and if your emoji lover don’t get it read all the reviews before you get it and if you’re reading this review right now like yeah you know the truth I’m not lying I am a truthful person and I love Minecraft it’s more way more boring in Minecraft the editing it doesn’t really work and I hate it so don’t get it

With very many bugs and small not finished details HoloCamLidar3D is not worth 30$ a year and a 3 day trail is not a very long one considering the time one has to look at and enjoy what they like about HoloCamLidar3D . Saw it off a Snapchat ad. Looked interesting at first but before you can even go on HoloCamLidar3D u have to sign up for a 30$ subscription. What a joke. This not something I would want to spend my money on. I can get better backgrounds and gifs for free rather than using a expensive app that’s not worth the time it’s gives for a trial. Hope whoever thinks about getting HoloCamLidar3D has a high paycheck or just take my advice and not get it.

Got charged $30 after it said I would get a free 3 day trial. It mentioned that if I cancelled anytime before the 3 day trial period ended, I would get my money back. As soon as I selected the 3 day trial, I got charged.
Pretty ridiculous. Added to that, HoloCamLidar3D totally did not provide the content described. Nothing like what it advertised. I basically was on HoloCamLidar3D for less than 20 minutes, then deleted it and unsubscribed. I then noticed it charged my card for $30. I am completely upset and frustrated with this and the way the company handled the whole process. Seems I got scammed. So much for a free trial!

This is the coolest Camera app I’ve used so far it’s really fun and the graphics are good but there is still one problem The problem is that there is only three emojis unlocked when you first get HoloCamLidar3D so you have to buy the rest of the emojis which is no fun. But overall it’s a pretty funny app to use

Like all of the rest on here, HoloCamLidar3D is a scam. Uses a 3 day free trial to lure you in with over inflated uses of what HoloCamLidar3D is capable of.

HoloCamLidar3D is a garbage VR of emojis that don’t do nearly what the developer says it can do. Even if you cancel as to not be charged like I did, you will still be charged. Under your subscriptions you will not even find a cancel or refund option. This is when you should go to Apple support on their website.

Apple support will immediately take care of the issue and refund the money. Obviously Apple knows what this developer is doing and is issuing refunds.

Honestly I can’t tell if HoloCamLidar3D is a good app because it forces you to buy a subscription plan. I was excited to try HoloCamLidar3D after seeing these cool advertisements it had on games, Snapchat, etc. but now I’m just disappointed. My wish for the creator of HoloCamLidar3D is to lose the subscription and to have it as a CHOICE, not forcing to get the plan. Instead, let people get into HoloCamLidar3D and if needed they can watch advertisements to “unlock” a background. In short, please get rid of the forced subscription plan, and simplify your app. Thank you.

I saw this on ad and downloaded it it was nothing like the ad and so I went to cancel the automatic subscription and they somehow charged me for a whole year so they stole $30 from me and now I’m stuck with this horrible useless app it does absolutely nothing it’s so bad words can’t describe how aweful it is the developers probably made this in like 10 mins and said I wonder how many people we can scam with this piece of crap I wish I could give it negative stars but even that wouldn’t be enough to describe how horrible HoloCamLidar3D is

HoloCamLidar3D explicitly advertises it is an animated lock screen on SnapChat and Instagram. Even though HoloCamLidar3D is the complete polar opposite of that and has no real use other than “funny” (Yuritarted) videos. HoloCamLidar3D doesn't specifically advertise that it’s free but you’d imagine for what you actually getting it would be, yeah, that went badly. I’d say it’s inferior, useless, and an incompetent and incomplete app that should be free or they should’ve kept in the even somehow earlier laggier development stages rather than making it an app. 1/5 because that’s as low as I can go.

It states that you will receive a free weeks trial, when trying it, you I will be prompted to set up a subscription and it will charge you immediately! Also I was charged for a years subscription without even realizing it. Cancelled my subscription but have already been charged minutes after. (Most free trials don’t charge until your week is up). HoloCamLidar3D has no instruction and is just trash. No way to get a refund if seems like, what a waste of $30. HoloCamLidar3D is still going in the trash!

I clicked on the free trial to check out some wallpaper I saw on an advertisement( which doesn’t exist nor do any other wallpapers exist on HoloCamLidar3D). I was immediately charged $30, there is no free trial and they will charge you for a yearly subscription. Do not download!!!!!

HoloCamLidar3D needs to be taken off the AppStore for taking people’s money with a false free trial, and not providing a proper product and people need to get their money back

Guys be extremely careful with HoloCamLidar3D. When I installed it it showed a free trail and then I was charged $30 yearly subscription fees? What gives, I canceled the subscription literally 5 mins later. I applied for refund and got denied. Shows does not meet criteria, for what. No way anyone would pay $30 for an app no one even knows what it does. I’ll update once I received a reply back from their customer service I emailed 5 mins ago

Same as the other comment I see a advertisement on Snapchat of Santa Dunn g around a maze as a wallpaper with some snowmen and then I download HoloCamLidar3D and then it asks if you would like a three day free trial and so I hit yes of course. Then it mentions that my subscription has gone theu and I’m looking and it is nothing like the advertising video shows. Then I go to my subscriptions to take it off and it already charged me $30 for the whole year.

It tricks u a little bit but if u read everything that gets in ur screen once u get in the game it says for no ads! And u will see an X so u can play it free....

...but how exactly do you rotate text? All I can do is move text closer, but I don’t know how to rotate it, or move it up or down. Is it even possible?

Found app through a deceptive advertisement. After installing the application it required a fee before proceeding. However it offered a 3 day free trail. When I purchased, it turns out there was never a free trail. It charged the $30 annual fee instantly. False advertising and extremely deceptive practices. You’d think Apple would be shutting down these types of scams. HoloCamLidar3D doesn’t even do the advertised solutions.
