False advertising; should be categorized as non-free app

Whether or not the description in the app store indicates that a purchase is required to see the results set, this app is clearly NOT free and such a statement is unethical and deceptive, at best.
Falsely stating that the app is "free" causes the app to be shown when a search for free apps is made.
It is free to the same degree that a solitaire game app that displays the cards, but, for a small fee, allows the player to actually move them, is free.
It fails essentially of its purpose as a free app. It is useless unless a purchase is made. Therefore, it is a payment-required app and advertising it as anything else is a lie.
What happened???

2 months ago this product was rock solid. Now, i get a spam asking me to buy a year subscription every time i open it (even though I already pay monthly). And now, when I try to open an SSH connection, the app just closes. Ugh.

If your free app is useless, don’t make it free, not being able to see the results of a query is an insult for those who are trying it. At least make a temporal window for usage or something
