Typoman Remastered Reviews

The game crashes continually and is preventing me from progressing and enjoying the game. It really is a shame because the game to this point has been good, although I had a experienced crashes. I have also seen other reviews expressing the same concerns of the game crashing. Please developers get it together and fix these issues with the game. I have played multiple games on my iPad and have never experienced the amount of crashes and bugs like in this games. I have no issue paying for a well developed/designed game, but when the games crashes so much it prevents the player from enjoying and progressing in the game, shame on you for taking peoples money…

I struggled with playing this on the iPad. You have to use two fingers, one for moving the hero and one for jumping. The cursor action doesn’t start by touching the hero either. You have to put your finger way outside of him to get him to move. I couldn’t make it past the gorge with the 3rd crumbling pillar so i gave up and deleted it. Too bad because it is very clever. I am sure it works great with a joy stick.

This is my kind of game and I love the creativity but there is one part of the game where I know I need to run but the control doesn’t work. I see from the reviews that others have gotten past this point but I have tried several times and the option to run is not present. I would have loved to continue playing.

This game is smart and fun and generally awesome. But the controls are not great, and too many weird things happen, so the bugs aren’t all ironed out. The screen froze with Typoman pushing SA, running legs but unable to do anything. I got stuck inside a word I was pushing, unable to get out. I lose the move button at weird times even though my finger is on it, and then it’s hard to get it back.

When you have so many tightly timed puzzles, this is not acceptable. When you charge a premium price for a game, this is not acceptable.

I love the game, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to fight the controls enough to finish it. Guys, c’mon.

My son is loving this game, however even after downloading the most recent update it continues to crash when starting up. Hopefully the developers can find a fix for this because it is my son’s favorite game.

The “control stick” doesn’t always respond, which is a little frustrating, and I’ve had TypomanRemastered randomly quit on me during a hard GAS puzzle, but otherwise very cool and interesting game.

So I open the game press play and then it shows the loading screen and then it just crashes and kicks me off please fix this I really wanna play it.

it plays, interestingly, like play dead games’ limbo. However, for some reason, they chose to make the jump button the start button on a controller. And nothing else is included to interact with items in the game… So you have to touch the screen even though you’re using a controller. To me, that is very strange, and it seems to be a very simple fix.

I like the concept of this game. Everything about it is good except the fact that you need to pay to play the rest of the game. Other than that, great game!
I thing it might be worth the. $7

I had this game a while back, and now that it’s “Remastered”, it won’t restore my purchase. That’s really not ok.

Hi, I really love this game and the concept.I love the storyline. I think this game should be bigger than Minecraft! the idea is very clever but I wish that you could fix some bugs there is a lot of issues that could be fixed but besides that this game is amazingly fun. Thanks, Abrahn😁

This game has beautiful visual design and audio. The environment feels immersive and dynamic. It’s clear the game team put a lot of focus on that with great success. The idea is also unique and interesting.

The gameplay was generally fine, although sometimes a bit clumsy. There are sometimes moves that are difficult with how the movement is programmed. Not all game mechanisms are clearly explained, so sometimes you’re expected to do things that you don’t even know you can do. There were a few moments where it was unclear what I needed to accomplish at all.

The game is also pretty short - I’d guess 2-3 hours of gameplay total - and doesn’t have strong replay value, so it’s debatable if the $7 price is justified from that perspective.

Overall, I enjoyed the game. The price is a little easier to accept if you consider it more like playable art rather than a game and it’s good to support indie studios. I’ll look forward to seeing what else the studio does.

This mobile device game was excellently carried out! The visual design and the prologue has definitely shown the time and effort put into this game! However, It is quite expensive for a mobile game but I’m sure it won’t disappoint:)

I love the game it would of had a five start if there was not a bad bug where I am on chapter two part three where I have to get lie across the way to make the word gain and then take the r from revolt to make the word rain and then it crashes every time and it some times crashes in the mini game as well if I make the kill for example it crashes

I like the game, but I do need to share one thing, in the Anatomyzer mini game, you can break it with one word, if you make AIM and use LIE on the result repeatedly, you get a bunch of random words that have a LOT of letter variety, also, please remove the special animation for WEB since I don’t think anybody likes it

I got the game out of boredom and I really like the game, especially how it gets my heart racing when the monsters appear. But when I finished the first chapter it wanted me to buy something to continue playing so I couldn’t keep playing. Idk if I have to wait a certain amount of time to continue or if I do have to pay but it was really disappointing when I couldn’t keep playing

This is an atmospheric apocalyptic game with quite clever word puzzles. But I couldn’t get further than Chapter 1 on my iPad Mini 6 (latest iPad Mini). For developer’s attention, I encountered a bug on the “Escape Blockade” puzzle, I think because of the smaller scale of the iPad mini, the game wouldn’t zoom out enough to work properly at the edges of the map. Had to reply Prologue and Chapter 1 on my iPad Air to get through that stage. So, heads up for fellow iPad Mini users, that the game may not work correctly on your tablet, I suspect because of scaling issues.

It has great gameplay but some parts are extremely hard like really hard the portal part is the hardest

Like, I remember stumbling across this game yesterday, and looking at it, it honestly looks really great!
Then I saw the negative reviews and I thought that maybe the game was bad after all..
But no, it’s mainly just 5 year olds who still haven’t comprehended the idea of a “Demo” or a “Free Trial” (Plus, side note: They ain’t even asking for much, just like 6-7 dollars is all)
And I also saw the devs actually responding to their reviews, and it made me a bit sad, so I actually downloaded and tried this game to say that, yea, it’s really really good!
I don’t have money to buy the full game rn, but when I can, I will!

(Also, since I’m here, there is one unforeseen problem in this game actually, nothing major, it’s just, I tried using a PS4 controller to play this game, and it was weird tbh, if you wanted to jump you would press the “Options” button (or start button), and if you wanted to pause you would press the Right D-Pad, and if you wanted to pick up stuff you would push the Right Joystick to the right, it was all very strange to say the least, if you could fix that later that would be cool!)

OMG THIS GAME IS SO GOOD!!!! So basically the story on how I found this game is cause I was looking in “games for you” page on TypomanRemastered Store and I saw this and I LOVE Typoman but I was just like “of course another dumb ripoff” but then I looked and I saw it was real and you should have seen the look on my face and I downloaded it and it is SO GOOD!!!! Please make the other Typoman games on mobile to.

So I originally gave a 1 star review bcuz the game kept crashing; but it turns out that the game kept crashing bcuz my iPhone wasn’t up to date (needed a software update) .. so it wasn’t the developer or the apps mishap .. just finish playing the game up until the part where u have to pay .. and I love every second of it .. dark yet comical themed game; very innovated themes (never seen any came with themes this creative) .. I had a blast and plan on paying the fee for the game when I get the chance .. GREAT GAME

I initially downloaded because I liked the visuals. I enjoyed the gameplay and stayed for the powerful message within the story. The game is interesting on so many levels. The heart-pounding thrill from situations where it required you to think fast to survive the evil creatures. The mysterious muse that was there just in time to motivate and protect the hero. And the realistic theme that words have only the power that we give them. So be careful how you use them!

Overall, it’s a fully rounded game and I would encourage anyone to play it.

I have finished the prologue and I can see great potential in this game with the visual representations, to the quotations you get along the way. I only see one problem.. how can I buy the rest of the game? At the beginning of chapter 1, it doesn’t give me a purchase button. It just tells me I need to buy the game. I see that the owners respond to reviews so just advise me how I can buy it, I love this game!

This game is one of the most captivating and genuinely interesting games to hit TypomanRemastered Store, and that is saying a lot since I loved Ninja Arashi (another just as good game). $6.99 is really worth it, the environment is deep and the music is something else entirely. Despite how annoying some of the enemies can be at times (especially the syringe enemies in Chapter Two’s beginning), this game deserves five stars just because the lore hits deep… An absolute masterclass in gaming indeed.

Most games rely on thumb skills, and fine, my second favorite game is a pinball game. I’m all for hand/ eye coordination but you don’t need to practice jumping ‘just right’ to win. You need brains. And when you’re stuck, they give you a series of hints until you need it completely spelled out for you. See what I did there? Puns. Haha. If you spent 10’s of thousands of dollars on an English degree, this is probably the best return on investment you’ll ever get.

Love this game. Don’t mind paying for it and really enjoy that you can play a free preview of the game before you buy it so you can decide if you like it.

The game is cool, but the old version (the one that was before the remastered version) is better since you DONT HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY THE REST OF THE GAME, the game used to be for free now if you want to play the full game you need to pay which is pretty annoying, the old version was better

Great game, amazing idea!! I love the story and also little secrets. For example, I was swinging on letter vines, and I’m pretty sure they spelled out the word lair. I really enjoy this game and I still don’t regret spending those seven bucks. Keep up the great work!!!!!! Also, just cuz why not, I would love to see a sequel and maybe a free roam mode type of thing!

I am seriously impressed with the way this game is written! Anyone that has a problem with this game asking to be “bought” obviously doesn’t understand the amount of work that goes into making something of this quality. I for one am going to buy it! And I don’t buy ANYTHING from TypomanRemastered Store! Keep up the great work devs! It is programming like this that truly makes the grade!

The game crashes at the point where he spells split then stop. If you don’t get the trap to stop at a certain spot you can move on and I tried pushing the word back and start again and then the game crashes but I figured something out. If you destroy the word stop in the light and retype it and push it to get the trap to stop open it doesn’t crash and you can move on. I tried this many times and finally got the trap to stop just right and was able to move on without the games crashing. I really enjoy this game and don’t find games like this often. If the games crashes try to find away around it.

I absolutely love this game! Super creative and fun! The only issue with this game is that the TypomanRemastered was glitching and wouldn’t let me see the ending of the story. Definitely a bug to get, but worth every penny! Thanks for a fun and clean game! :)

This is such a clever little game. I can’t believe this isn’t a bigger hit! I freaking love this game & it’s worth every penny. It should be on the Apple Arcade for sure! Word play and action all rolled into a seriously smart story line.

To be honest despite the fact I haven’t bought the rest of the story I already know how it goes as I had the original and still love this game to this day,but it also left me wondering. Is there going to be a sequel to Typoman or perhaps a spin-off game?

I got this game a few weeks ago and haven’t been able to put it down since. I loved all of the story the secret quotations and the word puzzles and it’s overall incredible graphics. All of the encounters were really fun mixed with spelling and skill this game was incredible!!! I highly recommend game!!!

It's a good-looking side-scrolling word-fusing puzzle game. There are a few well-made puzzles but most of them are simple and you’ll probably solve them right away. If you like the look of Limbo and you like scrabble you'll most likely enjoy this game too. It only took me about 5 hours to complete but it does have a satisfactory ending so well worth it.

They made a word scramble game fun. These developers must either be real gamers or the idea was heavily influenced by life time gamers. Everything from the art style to game play, character design and silent story line is very well done. The mini games are also a blast. It is also low key helping my spelling haha. From a performance perspective, it is not very resource heavy so your battery should not die sooner than usual. New favorite mobile game, no competition.

The concept alone of a puzzle based game is a one of a kind the graphics are amazing and the complexity is well worth it it’s like watching a good thriller movie wanting and waiting what happens next and you just can’t stop playing thirsting for the ending not being able to wait I think that the developers are aliens from another planet a real Stephen King of a game 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
