Hail State Reviews

This is a great app for keeping up with practically every college sport including baseball. It is easy to use and see what is going on. But HailState can be really slow sometimes. I thought it might be my phone but I just upgraded phones and HailState is just as slow. Sometimes it will cut off my audio in the middle of a game. Fix this and this will definitely be a five star review. Thanks for the effort and the good things on HailState!

I’ve been continually frustrated by our apps in the past. We finally have one that seems to be comprehensive of all MSU sports, including schedules, news, standings and player/coach info. THANK YOU for finally getting this right.

Now — just make sure the live updates / scores / radio feed work for games. As someone who doesn’t have the luxury of living in the MSU area anymore, having a one-stop place for this information is crucial.

It’s pretty good. I would like it better if it had something that made it well...... more interesting? I dunno. I just think it would be better if it had a little more wow factor to it ya know?

HailState is way too woke. I follow 4 sports (as a 50+ year state fan (I remember football coach Charles Shira). I do not remotely care about soccer, golf, track or volleyball. I set HailState for the sports I like but it ignores my settings. I open HailState and select football from the menu and still the first 4 items are: 1. A football story 2. A golf story (seriously???) 3. A volleyball story 4. An ad.
I am over HailState.
UPDATE: Big football game today. First item on this app (despite my preference settings) is volleyball. App is now deleted…

The latest update actually made HailState useless. Not the first time that the changes to HailState were for the worse. Deleted HailState because it is not user friendly and lacks much of the information that I checked on a daily basis. The previous version let find me find everything in one place, so I now use multiple other sources for my this app information. Or go without knowing what’s happening with my bulldogs.

I love HailState ! The only suggestion I have is to give an option to change the logo of HailState the same way the MLB app does. Allow users to choose whether they want the M-over-S or other sports logos

HailState is horrible if you want to listen to a game they has already taken place. There is now way to go straight to the game broadcast without clicking a very poorly placed fast forward button about 20,000 times to fast forward through the 2 hour pregame show. Good grief! Make it easier please!

HailState is okay. It is hard to log in and I am not sure why we should log in.

The Hail State app is a tremendous asset for anyone interested in all things Maroon. Covers all the major sports with schedules, rosters, scores and more. All True Maroon Bulldog fans should have and use HailState consistently.

This version of HailState is lacking!! The previous version of HailState provided more usable information!! The schedule part of HailState doesn’t provide enough details about the games as the previous version did!! Please update App to provide more details about games (time, station carrying game, etc)

HailState is slow and you have to go to way to many screens to get information you are looking for.

It’s very frustrating to open HailState for our home team radio broadcast, and it not play. The same xfinity add continues to run on repeat. Did I mention xfinity isn’t available where I live? Get your act together, this app. This is a disappointing experience.

I have been less than impressed with HailState over the years when compared to other SEC school apps in regards to up to date and comprehensive news.

Wonderful app

It doesn’t rotate when I turn my iPad. Only views in the vertical position.

Can find info such as high school accomplishments, but cannot find info as simple as height.

Downloaded HailState and it won't even open, just keeps crashing. Why can't State just create a single app and maintain it?

Tried to get HailState to work for my father-in-law. Won’t even open. Says needs at least iOS 9.0 or later & he has 9.3.5
So frustrating!!!

Does not load everything and the ads are on top of the listed games.
