FenSens Sensor/Backup Camera Reviews

The latest update has disconnected my camera permanently. I can no longer connect to the camera. It just keeps asking permission to connect and then it reports it can’t connect.
Even when it was working FenSensSensorBackupCamera always wants to reconnect again. It’s like FenSensSensorBackupCamera has amnesia and doesn’t remember it has been linked. Please try to fix this I want it to work!

Okay so I turned off the cellular connection to FenSensSensorBackupCamera . I was able to get the camera working again. So far it has not asked to reconnect. It would seem that FenSensSensorBackupCamera is working better. Please keep the updates coming so that this product will work as advertised. Thank you for responding to my review!

FenSens was selling this product for $199 less than 24 hours they where selling it for $99. The next day $149. They are flip flopping the price constantly on their website. Customer service is terrible unreachable and when I do reach out they threaten you with a 10% restocking fee and it clearly states on the website that you have a 30 day moneyback guarantee. We sent them multiple emails and only that that response about the 10% restocking fee. The product says it comes with a vent phone holder for your phone and it does not I’ve seen this stated multiple times from other people who’ve gotten their product so false advertisement on that also. The product overall isn’t bad ,but we use it on a cargo van and the parking guidelines are offset so you can’t use those ,this is why we want to return it. For 200 bucks it is just a piece of plastic with a simple camera and it houses 2200 mega amp NiCad batteries that’s all you get. This is a very simple product to make FenSensSensorBackupCamera is not that difficult to develop I might just start my own line and sell it for $99 all the time and have great customer service. So bottom line I would not buy this product not happy at all...

I purchased the sensor plate cover several months ago for the front of my Lincoln Nautilus. A few months later I learned Fensens was developing a camera plate cover. I purchased that immediately. The product was delivered to me last week. I had some initial questions on basic connections and information. I sent an email to customer support and received an almost instant reply from Andy. Andy gave me the information I was looking for and then some. By the way Andy is the CEO of Fensens. That’s impressive this day and age. FenSensSensorBackupCamera is updated and the camera plate cover works great. Now I have a factory camera in the back and the Fensens on the front. I’m good to go. Thanks Fensens

Hi: Installed this version and a new plate. Followed the installation procedure. Plate charged overnight, then turned the plate on to start. the camera added with wifi ID (TYPE-S-1080P-BUC-17) accepted, TAP button added. The set completed and camera is active and displayed on iPhone. The application is running in the background.

HOWEVER, when I attempt to reconnect, the plate will not connect to iPhone. FenSensSensorBackupCamera asks to join the WiFi TYPE_S..., but the. Returns a message, Unable to Join TYPE_S. FenSensSensorBackupCamera continues to ask to join and fails.

I then have to manually power OFF, then Power ON (2 blue lights) the plate. Then the application will join the WiFi and display the camera image. This works about 70% of the time, but is not an acceptable use case.

There is bug, in that when I leave my car (application is still running in the background), when I return and launch the application, it recognizes the TYPE_S WiFi, but cannot join it. I am standing right behind the plate. Use of the TAP button does not help.

Can you please fix FenSensSensorBackupCamera bug or send me a working plate? Thank you.

Camera turns on and displays. The tap button only launches the sensor instead of the camera, though. And the provided email address doesn’t work to get help.

I purchased a backup camera because my wife’s car came with one from the factory, and it is the one thing I wish my slightly older model SUV had come with. Easy to install. My first camera unit wouldn’t power up for me, but they quickly replaced it with a new unit and that works like a champ! The picture on my iPhone is better than the view my wife’s car gives her on the dash board with the bigger screen. The picture is wider and clearer on the FenSens camera!

This product and company are seriously THE worst. If I can give -5 stars I would. First the product itself never worked, waste of money. They hide their contact number so you can’t get help or technical support. Their security screws are freaking impossible to remove, I asked them to help send me a new one and they had to audacity to threaten me that they will only send me one if i write their app a good review. What a shady business practice!
It’s ironic they put so much effort into making their sensor frame secure, jokes on whoever that steals this they’re getting a worthless piece of trash. I hope this company gets sued by its investors and consumers by offering a fraud of a product and lack of integrity.

I received fensens from a friend a month ago. Installed it on my car and have been using ever since. At first i was like are probably wont be using this much since i dont live in the city. I was definitely wrong about that. Backing up / parallel parking is such a breeze now that have Fensens

It just got better, it is now able to open by voice command. Which is better than the tap button imho.

I bought the FenSens for my husband’s car since he did not have a back up camera. The camera worked very quickly unfortunately we cannot get the Tap button to find the signal and connect nor can we get the parking app to work it will not connect wireless. I sent an email two days ago to the support team but have yet to hear back. I really hope someone can contact me because we would like to get this working completely it is a great help to my husband. Thanks!

I bought two of these thinking that you could install the “Tap” button and utilize FenSensSensorBackupCamera once you use the “Tap” feature, this is not the case.
You have to be actively running FenSensSensorBackupCamera for the “Tap” feature to work. Basically, you have to open FenSensSensorBackupCamera and run it in the background the entire time your in the car or it’s useless.
Don’t be fooled like I was thinking you could download FenSensSensorBackupCamera and upon pressing the “Tap” button it would launch FenSensSensorBackupCamera .
I sure wish they would fix this since I’m in over $200 for an item that doesn’t work!

This gives my car an instant upgrade. It works great! I don’t use the tap feature at all but it’s been great to pop into FenSensSensorBackupCamera when I am parallel parking.

I would probably miss out on some spots if I didn’t use this.

The beeping works exactly as you expect in a car with backup sensors.

What a useless app. I have the backup camera, but every time I launch FenSensSensorBackupCamera , it launches to the sensor tab and tells me I need to configure my sensor. In order to access the camera feed, I have to cancel that notification and switch to the camera tab. Of course, there may be a way to change this, but FenSensSensorBackupCamera CRASHES every single time I try to access the home or settings tab. The product itself may be good, but I’ll never know until they fix this horrible app.

Very disappointed in this product and service for as expensive as it is it should not drop you every time you need to back up and hook up your trailer if you don’t have Internet you won’t have a back up camera . directions to set up very vague send you in circles!!
Also the instant tab button has never worked I have tried and tried to get help. My advice is buy the cheap one like my brother did and it works just fine

I have not had a chance to use the fensens backup camera much since it took a bit to get it set up in FenSensSensorBackupCamera . However, it only took a few minutes to install on my car, and Andy and the customer support team were very helpful and quick to respond regarding setup.

I am very much happy to have found this application. It works perfectly well and I want to give a true review about the same. I would like to say this is an effective app. And I would recommend it.

I recently bought a car that has the wireless sensor but it was registered to the 2 previous owner. So I emailed them and Andy has responded and took care of everything right away! Thank you

Works great once FenSensSensorBackupCamera is started.
The Tap launch is inconsistent, sometimes it starts, other times not at all. Why?
One big gripe: why do i have to log onto my account to use FenSensSensorBackupCamera ? Not something you want to do when you’re in a tight parking situation.
Also, why does FenSensSensorBackupCamera have to notify my when a fensens is nearby? I know when i want to use FenSensSensorBackupCamera .

I love this device, parking just became a lot easier. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and I don’t know how I’ve lived without one. Great device, highly recommend!

It says in the online manual to adjust the parking grid lines all you have to do is to press your finger between the grid lines and adjust. Not working on iPhone. I need these lines adjusted or the device is useless.

Everything about this wireless sensor is fantastic. The features are quite agreeable. I love to use it and would like to refer to it others as much as possible.
