Boy Howdy Solitaire Collection Reviews

I have an iPhone5se and an old iPad that I can still play the BH Classic Solitaire. It’s a quick game, cards fly to their places as they either show up or I tap them and I usually win 75% of the time which keeps me playing. I also now have a new iPhone 6 with BH Solitaire Games and now I almost never win the much slower Classic game. I don’t really care about the other game choices. If it’s all about the ads, I’d put up with them to play winning games.

This game is different but once you get used to it, it is fun. There is no option for 100% winning deals. The reason that I say this is that you can spend a lot of time trying to win when you can’t win. I love that there is no move count, I like to undo all my moves and try different things when I’m stuck.

I have been a fan of Boy Howdy apps for a long time and would normally give them 5 stars but the ads often hijack the solitaire screen. I would happily pay to remove ads but apparently this is not an option. I have tried adjusting my settings but to no avail. I hate to give it up.

I was forced into deleting other spider solitaire games because of the way I play. I don’t play every hand presented. Other companies force you to watch an ad just to view a hand. I like Boy Howdy’s business model. The way it plays, it’s like they put the experience of the player first.

On the other sites after a recent update I would receive notification that the site was no longer safe on my device. Boy Howdy has never been problematic.

The only thing that they could improve is to increase the playing area, and maybe add a hint button. If they did that? 5 stars.

I play several of this company’s games and they’re always free with no ads coming in why are you playing. And I love this solitaire card game because you have all the favorites in one app. Thank you!

It's great having all of these solitaire games available. I'm especially enjoying Double Deck and 40 Thieves. Still playing every day, actually a few times a day.
Still rating as a 5 star site, play multiple times a day. Thanks for such great games, happy holidays.

BoyHowdySolitaireCollection keeps me interested for a long time. It doesn’t seem to take much battery 🪫 and I enjoy switching between games.
Only drawback is that I would like to WIN more often.

I’ve had these games for a while and I really do enjoy them.
There’s one I really like that I play and and I’m always asked if I would like to try another game, but no because I like it so much. Also, like that, I can play them off-line in anytime.

I love this game. Having access to so many games in one app is wonderful. Also, as usual with Boy Howdy games, the ads are only banner ads at the bottom and they don’t interfere. I would recommend BoyHowdySolitaireCollection to anyone who is looking for relaxation from a game of solitaire.

Ads are at the bottom of the screen while playing. Just word ads, no video, so not distracting. No waiting for a video ad to play between games. Can change settings to suit your style. Good variety of games to choose from.

Thank you, Boy Howdy, for creating these fantastic free games that work flawlessly and are so much fun to play. I like being offered choices in skill levels and to have sounds on or off (and the accompanying sounds are perfect). If you enjoy competition, you can check on your ranking and try to pass your competitors, or you can ignore other scores completely. I once had a question to ask when I changed devices, and Boy Howdy rep was immediately helpful and kind. I can’t wait to get my work done so I can play each day!

I have several Boy Howdy games, and they are all really awesome. I think the best thing about Boy Howdy, though, is the fantastic customer service. I had a question about one of the games, emailed Julie, and received a response early the next day. The folks at Boy Howdy are a class act, and I absolutely, without reservation, recommend you play their free games. Did I mention the games are FREE? Super games, super company, super people.

A few years ago I became ill and had serious memory problems. My doctor recommended using games to exercise my brain. Boy Howdy games are the best. Easy to understand rules for every game. There are many games to choose from. I like card games especially Gin Rummy. I can play online or offline. I can play virtually any game I already know and some I never heard of. Now I find it fun to play and I love playing BOY HOWDY GIN RUMMY!

I have to say that Boy Howdy has the best free games you can find. The only drawback for me is that sometimes the screen will go completely black, and I can’t get it back and have to wait days sometimes for it to repair on its own. This is the 3rd time this has happened, and I wish I knew what the cause could be or what I can do to avoid this from happening. Is there a solution to this?

I’ve been planing mostly “Free Cell” for many years. It’s a great game & love that it requires strategy to win. I used to play a word game that I loved, and until they got ad crazy. So sad to see that happen. There ads are very invasive, and all my friends and myself included have quit playing.

I hope you don’t ever overdue ads. Right now it’s workable, but I’m hoping you don’t go any further. It would ruin the game if you did.

I’ve been playing this game for years and never tire of it. From FUN mode to HARD mode, it’s a great way to relax. It totally helps to calm my anxiety. This suite of games gives you plenty to choose from and you can SWITCH anytime, just click on the switch button top right. I just wish for right handed, they could switch the MENU button, from the lower right, to the lower left and put the UNDO button conveniently on the bottom right. Just a suggestion not an issue.

...so I guess you can say that I really love BoyHowdySolitaireCollection—Classic and Double Deck are my go-to games, and with a combined total of 3,000+ wins, you know I play this often. I like the fact that it’s straightforward and simple—classic. No ads crowding or popping up to force you to click on them and features that allow you to undo a move (or several moves) or to even start the match over or to begin a new one altogether. I like Boy Howdy’s style and ease so much, I’ve even started a few of their others games—Word Jewels anyone?

Lost 5 siblings b4, during and after Covid… I broke in 2, after my husband passed last June(2023)… my son and family sorta took me by the hand and helped me thru a tragic time in my life. I fought to get my mind and MEMORY back… you may not believe this but ‘mind games like your solitaire helped me MAKE my brain to work- I don’t know the medical terms for strengthening electrical points (?)/things that may have been discovered regarding our brains waves or??? but the more I play solitaire the more I’m remembering 🤣

This is added to my over 20 Boy Howdy games. I love the settings that is for people that have lower vision, although I do not need it...yet, I am sure this can be very helpful.
The only thing that is missing is hints if someone gets stuck rather the. Just ending the game. Even if there were a limit to a few hunts each game it would be helpful. I am also not sure what the different deal options in free cell are about. But still giving five stars as Boy Howdy game screens in general are the best and no timers and additional payments needed.

I LOVE playing the card games on BoyHowdySolitaireCollection so much! Totally FREE, multiple levels and several completely different versions to try. I find it often helps me keep anxiety away, because I’m focusing on the cards. Now when I play, I’ve begun to practice some deep breathing and stretches, great me time! When I stop, I’m energized.
