The game is nicely well made. But it's kind of frustrating when you have to wait for the rewards to open after few hours even after beating the daily duel. And also, there's always hard difficulty that you have to risk to get purple bubbles to reach 3rd place or higher. I know it's just a game but waiting for the rewards to open is annoying.

This game is an utter disappointment to anyone who is a fan of the LittleBigPlanet franchise. It takes an otherwise lovable character such as Sackboy and just tarnishes the legacy, especially amongst this franchise’s 15th-Anniversary.

This game is a symbology of how out of touch the studio could become with the original franchsie. This is a brand new low for the series and it would sicken me to see it stoop any further.

This game is a cash-grab, a game that capitalizes on an IP that deserves more respect in the modern age.

This game has all of the terrible trope of a mobile, micro-transaction-based games, and fails to innovate on the formula in any way, shape, or form. If this game is a failure revenue-wise, then it should not be seen as a general disinterest in the franchise as a whole, instead it should be seen as a studio failing to understand what people truly want: A NEW LITTLEBIGPLANET.

Give people what they want, do not support this embarrassment of a game. Get Run Sackboy Run instead if you want a good mobile experience in this same franchise.

This game is horrific just because of the whole artificial 35 second timer. Make it something that goes on permanently and it will have WAY more replayability and fun. Right now it’s boring and can be put off easily. Not great for a mobile game, this isn’t Clash Royale - if you want the timed amounts to work, you’re going to have to make it a live matchmaking type game and make us race other actual people playing. Then it might work.

This is the definition of using an ip just to make money

Just stop this game is horrible it’s a runner that has a time limit ?!? There’s no game mode where you can run infinite it’s 30-40 seconds of running then you either Waite the 3-8 hours to open boxes
Or spend money to keep playing players made better games then this on actual little big planet console games

I like how it has more features than Run Sackboy Run, and the graphics are pushed to the phones limits from Sackboy a Big Adventure. 5/5 hands down

I would add a + button next to the gems and add a menu that lets you buy gems without having to run out of gems first.

Its impossible to enjoy, first the neverending forced „tutorial“, then after every run more „tips“ that you have to go through.
I want to play nothing else, deleted.

Why can’t I play the same account on two devices? Bare bones cash grab app.

I actually love LittleBigPlanet and played toooons of the original Run Sackboy Run! (RSBR)
Even got the shirt for that game in the actual LittleBigPlanet. But anyways, unfortunately I can’t even play this game, I would attach an image if I could but I’ll just explain.

So basically I just started UltimateSackboy, and I like it a lot. Reminds me of another app.. And so I’m still in the tutorial.
Whilst on UltimateSackboy I noticed a battle pass and was looking through it. A little bit later I go out with my brother, closing UltimateSackboy .

It had been some time since I’ve played UltimateSackboy , so I decided to go back on it, and it shows me the battle pass had ended. I thought “Oh, well, okay. Unfortunately I missed out on some cool stuff but it’s fine.” And then go to close the notification. But unfortunately I can’t because behind it, it wants me to click on something in the top-left corner. I go to click on that and to hopefully skip the battle pass notification, but it won’t work either.
So here I am, still confused on how to play because I can’t close either notifications. I’ve tried closing UltimateSackboy , I’ve tried to quickly close them after opening the game, nothing.

I haven’t tried to delete the game and redownload it. I might try that after this review, but my point is; I shouldn’t have to do all of that to play this. I like the game. But it’s a shame I cannot play it.

As much as I enjoy the game and it’s beautiful graphics, like others have complained, you get to a point where you just can’t win daily challenges. You’re expected to win 2 to 3 games in a row but you are matched up against a score that is just impossible to beat. I see responses from the developer that say changes have been made to address this, but it is just a canned response. They are not actually reading the concerns or addressing them.

On top of that, this new season went from giving great number of coins and gems in higher tiers, like upwards of 5000 coins and 50 gems for the paid tier, to this season maxing out at 1000 coins and 10 gems. You are expected to increase your level but it gets to a point where you realistically can’t upgrade items and without those major coin bonuses you’ll necker get to a point where you can raise your level.

The other part that makes no sense is that you get less leveling up points the more expensive the upgrade. You can upgrade an item for 1000 coins and get 10 points or 2000 coins and get 15. You should get more points the more you spend on an upgrade!

Again, I want to like the game and it’s a fun diversion when needing a quick mindless break, but without ability to really advance after a certain point it gets frustrating and irritating.

Something is not right about this game. The scores seem arbitrary and even getting most of the available bubbles can still only get you to 5th place. Beyond the possibility that I’m missing something, why does it take hours upon hours to open *one* bag of coins/gems, and just *one at a time*? You should be able to have the clocks running on all of them. Average person can’t seriously be wasting $8 just to open the bags. Is ad revenue not what it used to be? The game is fun, I like the challenge of trying to get bubbles worth the most points, but there’s really no incentive to keep going. It’s just not designed that way.

Short story cause ive already typed a review but dont see it: I progressed super fast, I should be rewarded for being ultimate sackboy but im literally stuck. Power level 527 tier 7 my races are filled with levels 100+ higher than me so i cant win races getting treasure bags to level up and the season pass(which you pay real money for) gives you a significantly large amount of coins to level up your costumes which then levels your power level. Literally a pay to win if you want to progress in the ranks, sad game I was actually excited for this game, not so thrilled it was a subway surfers copy but ive been a huge fan since LBP1 and run sackboy run is a bit dated but still better than this game.

Sometimes it is genuinely impossible to get even 3rd place. not exaggerating either. I assume the scores are all random because it's the same amount of time for every level, except the top score on one will be 21k then the next will be 39k. It's so annoying because it's not even skill based, as there won't be enough feasible points to get any rank in some levels, thus causing you to lose those medal things regardless of how well you do. I know the game just came out, so I assume this will get fixed soon. I love everything sackboy and lbp so I hope this game gets better as time goes on.

All my life I wanted to play Sackboy ultimate run. Unfortunately it didn’t exist yet but when this game came out I shed a tear. I was so happy to be able to finally enjoy this game I so desired. Now that it is out I gotta say this is the best game to ever come out PERIOD. No other game in the entirety of history can beat this. I’m proud to say that I have 48 hours of playtime within the 4 days it’s been out. I’m glad to have been able to live in the generation of Sackboy ultimate run. This is the conclusion to my review.

This game dosent actually require skill because all the scores are pre set, meaning it knows if your gonna get 4th or 1st place before you even start. Not to mention it’s insanely hard to earn costumes (unless you spend money of course.) and each match only lasting around 40 seconds is stupid. They should just have it be a infinite runner where the goal is to get a high score, like every other subway surfers rip off. There’s more to say but this is the big stuff, and the game still gets some points for being sackboy related but for the most part it’s just a cash grab.

Not a bad game overall but… Even on runs where I do well maneuvering and collecting high value score bubbles, I’m often struggling to make top 3. Many times these top competitors have absurdly high scores that are near impossible to beat. I feel I should at least get something for completing a run. Not properly rewarding players on effort and skill is frustrating and feels like it violates some game design principle. I hope this gets rebalanced soon, as it would make the game a lot more fun.

I really love the overall look of this game! The environments and costumes keep you engaged and sometimes you only have time for 45 second races but I do suggest adding an endless option for those who want to run longer. My other suggestion would be to add an actual store where I can easily choose how many jewels I want to buy or how much gold to swap for. Could have the option to unlock full costumes or buy different level bags as well.

I like this game but when I redownloaded it it started me from the beginning with the tutorial and all, the options are pretty simple and theres no option to restore my progress.

The game is now on Season 6 and I cant imagine how devastating it is for players who invested time and money into this only to have the game wipe out everything once they delete the game.

I hope you work this through because I lost decent progress and some of the hype. Im gonna hold off playing until I get my new phone and by then hopefully this issue will be resolved.

Note: you cant change your name once you choose it, I advise you to put your real name since everyone has their real name and frankly its nice to see all the unique names from all over the world and not find random usernames, just first names with first letter capitalized, pretty neat and somehow community-like.

The Daily Duel is literally impossible to win . The score to beat is a near perfect score every single time. It’s honestly ridiculous.
I like the game and getting the top 3 on the races is fairly easy . You need to win three races to be able to do the daily duel. This is achievable once you understand what orbs get you more points and memorize the basic layout of the maps.

I downloaded this in HOPES that the bubble sound effects will be the same bubble sound effects from the Run Sackboy Run! game or the Sackboy console games to release and secrete the brain nectar of dopamine and serotonin with every jump and pop.

The bubble sound effect in this game literally sounds like a cheap downgraded offbrand bubble sound effect that my brain honestly can’t even register enough to give a satisfaction.

A MAJOR L

Is fun tho unable to uninstall for not having a log In account and afraid to loose all my stuff including the stuff I would like to buy in the future. So be more fun if it connects to apple Game Center and save the game process without being afraid to loose all the time consuming and then start over from scratch.

I love run games and I love the outfits and don’t mind a battle pass system
The big issues I have is the star points system. When running first few lvl I was cool more stars the better and was getting 1st but once I got too the next tier lvl you could have over 100 more stars and get 4 or 5th which I don’t understand and now only get 1 win out of 20 runs due to points. Until fixed I don’t recommend spending any money

Little Big Planet was my childhood and I repeatedly play Big Adventure, so this really takes the cake. Not only is SBA soundtrack is in this, BUT they even add Vex as a costume. And boy, do I mean it when I tell you that Vex is like my favorite character, and it kills me to know that he’s in here. I am so happy. I’m literally crying!

Just a cash grab. You get to a point where you can’t even get a high enough score to advance without having to pay to get gems to open bags and upgrade items. Also what’s the point of the game really? There’s just the one mode that has a timer. There’s no story, no stages, nothing to do besides collect cosmetics. The Crash Bandicoot mobile game at least had bosses to fight and that was shut down after a year. This will share a similar fate.

I think the game is fun with it being fast pace quick runs makes when you dont always got time to get quick sessions in, but would love a endless mode for just grinding and would always love if we could upgrade the magnet and shield abilities

Now i don’t know if it’s just me but their seems to be no reason to do the daily duel if the reward you get is the same for each costume is the same, for example why is the daily dual for the vex costume always giving me the lightning trail when I already got it from the tier rewards like atleast make it so we can get the other items too, if we can’t then the daily dual is not even worth playing

The last couple of months or so, anytime I click an add to continue a run where I’ve crashed has frozen.
So, obviously I don’t get to continue from where I crashed. Not sure who would be responsible for this but, it has to start somewhere.
Also, I have spent some cheddar on these mobile and PS games. I think there is a lot that could be improved.
Just my opinion.

i think having endless mode made it so much better but its not quite there yet, the endless mode offers little to no progression when it comes to leveling up your account or getting new costume pieces to use a majority of that still comes from the timed races, this game also has paid battle passes yet you cannot backup your account so if u delete this game after spending money u just lose all progress and have to restart from ground 0. the endless mode also feels tacked onto the game as you dont even progress through different scenarys of the different unlockable arenas its just the same area on repeat. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING IN THIS GAME ITS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME.

It’s a good game. It reminds me of running games. I love the graphics. It definitely takes me back to where I was playing Sackboy on my PS3 when it came out and how much I loved it. Used to play the game into the next day.

The reason why it got two stars is because there’s not much originality and when I watch ads to win “free” items or more time, the ad never seems to play all the way through. Or it would play and freeze. Both options leads to me NOT getting my “free” item or bonus time. When the ad doesn’t play all the way through, the game shuts down then I have to reopen it. When the ad freezes once it is done, I have to close the game out and enter it again for the game to work.

I ultimately ended deleting the game from my phone. But I suggest it to anyone who wants to try it.

Plz add 3,000 gem IAP option for 50,000 coin upgrade.
Plz fix not getting 1st place even if* all the available upgrades are purchased + perfect run with maximum possible bubbles collected.
Plz add gem for extended time back.

The graphics are gorgeous but the game feels heavy and slow because of how packed and messy it all looks which is little big planet understandable but dang it needs more simplicity and also there's only 2 powerups a protection bubble and magnet, it kinda gets repetetive which is normal for a endless runner but this one gets there much faster. There's a gazilion outfits that you wont use that you need to upgrade each individual part? Lol that was a weird feature, i'd rather upgrade powerups

I don’t like the devil I’m a Christian I love the game and I would love to see maybe an Angel costume like a generic Angel costume would be cute for both girls and boys and also it glitches a lot and the watch ads doesn’t work it won’t go back into the game. I respect the decision over costumes but cmon now. And also maybe a little less touchy it’s a little hard, the obstacle courses to get golden orbs like super impossible. Oh and sorry I forgot to mention but maybe make the bags you get I feel if you win 3rd place and above you should get a bigger bag prize and not the greeen ones and maybe make the costumes easier to get than 3+ hours it’s annoying and I don’t got the money for all them gems haha 😆 I get some but not a lot like I have to do to unlock everything.
