Cupixel: AR Trace & Classes Reviews

I absolutely love Cupixel. It makes it so easy to just trace one of you favorite photos and then you can do whatever you want with it afterwards use color whatever paint it but it gives you a super easy way to get your picture of choice down perfectly on whatever material you want. You can size it and everything to whatever size you want, and whatever shading you want, add your choice of thin lining or thick lining to it. I honestly love Cupixel. I wish I had thought of it first(lol) it’s genius. I’m about to get the stand and I’m excited to tell everyone about that as well.❤️❤️❤️✍️🎨👩🏽‍🎨🖼️🖌️

The trace function is clearly a non-working element across many devices based upon other reviews and my own experience. Got no response from app’s trace function despite having high contrast between working surface and canvas. Got no response even after increasing lighting to resolve any potential shadows. There are no trouble shooting tips in Cupixel and help is only available as an online chat (which is incredibly frustrating because not everyone can be crafting and hobbying during business hours). Cupixel is clearly half-baked at this point and shouldn’t be a PAID item yet as the lack of both written troubleshooting instructions in Cupixel for those of us with responsibilities during business hours and the number of people reporting issues demonstrates that we are the beta testers. Poor form, really poor form.

It’s so ALIVE with endless experiences that are from the past, up to the minute current, as well as weekly LIVE sessions! 😳

As someone that does NOT create art on the regular AND who also deals w working/living alone - is that these experiences literally create a sense of connection & feel like visit.

W an artist. Who you learn from. Who makes creating your own masterpiece possible.

I also noticed how calming the experience was, which I didn’t expect @ all.

What was also enlivening was getting connected to my own inspiration to create something particular AS WELL as feeling EXCITED about my sudden newfound ability to actually create something recognizable & beautiful.

I think Cupixel is incredible.

I think it not only makes artwork accessible for the non artist, but it also offers a reliable space & experience to connect with oneself & discover more on the way.

I found this and bought it on a whim and am happy I did! They have tons of options across many different mediums and are all led by artists. They are very informative and easy to follow along with.

Smart tracing takes a little getting used to but once you get it down it’s game on. I love that you can use your own pictures on top of all of the different things it comes with. You could use this all day and still barely search the surface of the possibilities!

I stumbled upon Cupixel and had a few questions for the developers, and was blown away by the customer service. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly kind and helpful. Cupixel itself is just as impressive, the instructors are very clear and engaging, and I love the variety of projects that are available. I have tremendously enjoyed everything I’ve made so far, and can’t wait to continue improving my skills by using Cupixel. The annual subscription has been more than worth it for me.

WOW, what amazing artwork !!!

I bought the this app Sketch Art Box for my child, 9.5 years old, he was super excited from the moment we opened the box, everything was super organized with the highest quality and attention to details, it was super easy to follow all instructions and steps in Cupixel , the most amazing part that my son without a professional painting experience, after 2 hrs, he got an amazing result (he did a selfie), I am surely going to buy another this app box. (to my other child), highly recommended !!!

I feel like some of these reviews are fake.

Cupixel is filled with useless videos. They market their tracing feature but it is almost impossible to find. You have to scroll to the bottom of Cupixel & buy a subscription to even use it. You upload a picture from your camera roll, then Cupixel changes is to this really weird a difficult black and white image that removes tons of details or mushes them together (I even adjusted the settings to max details), then when you finally get to the tracing part your photo will not show up anywhere. No “show photo” function, no explanation, nothing.

Difficult to use and too many useless videos. A huge waste of time.

We’re an art gallery and art teaching studio. We are so excited to have discovered this app and explore it as a way of introducing beginners and aspiring artists to fine art concepts and techniques they might otherwise be afraid to try. There are easy, standardized exercises but there are so many ways to think outside the this app box and expand beyond just tracing and coloring within the lines. People aren’t quite sure what to make of it at first but once they try it they’re amazed. We love it!

I haven’t really sketched since I was a kid (a long time ago :) , a friend recommended this app to me and I was blown away by how easy I got started and the sense of accomplishment after I finished my first sketch 10 min later. The artist/coach was great at giving me cues on what to do and it felt like she was anticipating my next move. Unbelievable !
Highly recommend to anyone looking to express themselves and take your mind off of the day to day for a few minutes. I’ll defiantly sketch more.

Now I don’t like writing reviews unless I can give five stars. This one I can. I have loved using Cupixel. I have learned so much and it’s only been a month.

I did a charcoal Moon scene as my first video class and it actually looks like a moon! And before I hated using charcoal but now I really like using it!!!

Highly recommend especially if you want to learn about different kinds of art work along with videos and tips how to do them yourself!!!

I downloaded Cupixel to draw a portrait of the kids for my wife. I should say, I have almost no experience drawing or painting. The AR tool and photo conversion gave me exactly what I needed. The videos of artists helping me along the way were very helpful. I was able to do several drawing that looked amazing. She didn’t believe I drew it. I have since given a subscription as a gift to my teen nephew, who loves it. Great app!

I see here lots of bad reviews about the tech that doesn’t work. I wish people will give it another try before writing a negative review.
It didn’t work for me at start as well. I reached out to their customer support which shared a link to their support video how to troubleshoot and then it works like a magic. Amazing tech lots of free stuff to try. I have just subscribed.

Totally worth the money. Works exactly as described and I was able to make gorgeous free hand art in a small amount of time. Everything right now has to be made on a square but it can always be cut to shape after. There are live experiences and guided artworks or you can do something on your own. Great for any age. Would be an excellent addition to anyone that finds coloring and creating relaxing. Loved it!

Cupixel is difficult to navigate if you just want to draw on your own. There are tons of resources to learn for beginners and I see great potential. When you sign up they give you a stand to help you draw and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. The teachers, classes, and quality of the this app stand is why I gave it 5 stars even if Cupixel navigation needs work.

This application is a hidden gem, and has become our favorite family time activity. We can’t get enough of this app’s augmented drawing. The new greeting card feature is insane, and is the perfect personal touch that takes minutes but looks like you’ve invested hours!

Super easy to get started and minutes to results! Keep crushing it!

Cupixel is great, if you want to spend $156 a year to trace a picture. you can barely do anything without having to do the subscription and i’d rather learn how to draw it than trace it for $13. The advertisement shows you what Cupixel is mostly for which is tracing but you can’t do that without having to pay the subscription. If you dont mind $13 a month, than its most likely a great app but i don’t know if it is cause i can’t pay the subscription!!!! (sorry this id mostly about the monthly fee)

My mom bought this box on HSN and i didn’t know what the expect.
Cupixel has a very nice experience feed you can choose from. You can basically paint anything you want. I did a photo of my dog. The coolest part is the augmented reality. painting while looking through the screen. INSANE.
The end result is a 7” by 7” frameD artwork.

I have had an iPhone in my hand since the year they were invented and I can say as a fact that this app is the most innovative art app I have ever had the joy of interacting with!!! I am SO excited to watch myself improve, the more that I use it. I am excited to be on my phone again!!!

Cupixel is amazing and so much fun! I Love this app app and products. A very rewarding experience. Really sparks your creativity and the staff at this app are eager to help with any questions you may have. You can create paintings from their vast collection of images or work from your own photos. Cupixel itself is great, very well made and does exactly what it claims. As someone who has been struggling with some aspects of art Cupixel is like having a teacher in your pocket, I am really enjoying using it. The customer service is outstanding, I contacted them with a question I had about the shipping process of the stand and they went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. Thank you Elad.
