This is a review from a kids point of view

I was about six years old when my parents first introduced this. At first I absolutely loved it. When I was nine I started using other coding platforms. I realized CodingForKids was boring and had the same thing over and over and over again. I was tired of ads, ads, and more ads. I started to hate CodingForKids even more It was like a huge ad disguised as a coding app. When I started to use other coding platforms I realized they gave me advice and hints if I failed. Kidlo just says "try again". I feel like adults do not really play the game. And some kids are to excited for screen time to focus. Am I wrong to dislike everything about it?

iPhone X support needs improvement

The parts that kids interact with are right above the bar to exit a app on my iPhone Xr. Almost every time he goes to click on a piece, he hits the bar instead. Wouldn’t be a problem except it takes you back to the main menu everytime you touch the bar, not just leave the game but touch the bar period. There are other apps that hide the bar and make you swipe twice to activate it and this desperately needs that for little kids. The apps great but (ironically) simple coding issues keep us from getting a subscription if he’s spending more time going through the menu than playing the game.

App is Good, But Wish There was more free Games...

CodingForKids itself is Very good, but I wish there was more free games. I would recommend CodingForKids If you are willing to pay small fees for your kids, But if you are looking for something fun to do in your Children’s downtime, then No. However, the function of CodingForKids allows young kids aged 2-9 to fully understand the concepts of coding. It’s overall a great App.

Coding for kids

It’s fun but yet I still get stuck on some levels and I get surprised cause I’m like a boss at games but yeah I like it

Great Coding App

This is such a great coding app for young students. We have just started doing the sequencing activities in my classroom and they are really enjoying it! Thanks for making such a fun coding app with so many activities to choose from.

It helped me a lot

So like when I started I was bored but then it was like (sigh) I don't know how to explain it.
It helped me so much that I'm actually starting to understand coding. I just think they should make a coding game for 8 yros.

Wonderful!

I got this for my 5yr old and he loves it keeps him entertained, not many things do! I love how it shows him to follow directions a must in this world! I definitely recommend CodingForKids. Considering getting the rest of their apps for my little ones!!

Love it

It is so awesome, great just such a great game I am going to learn a lot from this just oh my gosh thanks for making it so much better than other fun games I like or love when you get the fire truck to get it to the ens sooo muchhh ffffuuuuunnnnn

Music could be better

Sometimes it does not recognize the touch of small toddler fingers. It would be nice to be able to turn off the music or choose a more interesting piece to play.

Too much advertising

Even after I bought the one year subscription, CodingForKids keeps trying to sell an even more expensive version to my child. Not acceptable in a kids app.

Love this

I like how you get to do activities, but you have to pay for some why Sebastian, Tonio what sorry my baby brother beat back

Great for kids!

My six-year-old has been working with CodingForKids for the last few days and he loves it, would you say you love it Zach?

Do you love it, can you tell them why you like it?

I don’t know I don’t know .... 😊

Do you like it though, yes.

What do you like about it, its coding, is it fun? Yes. What’s fun about it? I am coding. Come on besides that,Which one do you like? The fire truck one. There you have it straight from the Little Man himself!!

Good and bad app

it’s good for kids Mines
but on the bad side you gotta do a free trial for 14 days so it’s kind of gotten kind of bad, so get it if you want and do the free trial, so see you there have fun

Fun yet challenging

We love this game. The games are fun yet challenging and offer a wide variety of challenges with many levels. Worth the annual fee. Child and parent can enjoy. Colorful, cute and appropriate pictures for children. Not full of scary or distorted ugly monster figurines that other apps thrive on.

Fun in Coding

Very colorful, attractive with clear sounds. I couldn’t have asked for a better app.

Kidlo

The perfect app to help children learn the basics of coding, and, if they already know the basics, a good way to learn more. Fun for them and adds a new hobby. Also, cheerful and fun music!

Great for challenging kids

Love it for my son who learns everything super fast

Real learning, Real fun
