TV Show Movie Tracker Trakt Reviews

TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt is almost perfect. There are a just a couple of bugs that are kind of annoying, if not a little worrisome. They are:

1. I can’t properly sign out of TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt. Every time I try to sign out, it glitches and cuts back to me being signed in with the message “New version! - Filters are now available on the search page.
- Widgets are working again!”, with the confirmation button “I’VE GOT IT” in all caps being the only button you can click. If you try to sign out again, the same thing happens.

2. I can’t properly mark movies as watched. Every single time I try to mark a movie as watched, I get the error message “An unexpected error occurred, please check your interest connection and try again”. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting to WiFi, restarting my phone, and restarting TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt . Nothing fixies it. Furthermore, the other apps on my phone don’t show any signs of internet connection issues.

I like how TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt is about substance over flash. It’s not as pretty as TV Time, but the information it has is always up to date. By contrast, the information TV Time has is often outdated or flat out wrong, especially for upcoming shows.

However, with these bugs, I’m not so sure I’m ready to ditch TV Time for this beauty. If the developers could take note of these bugs and fix them, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Version 14.0: To start, I will say that I absolutely LOVE TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt for TV show tracking. Having recently had a heart attack, I have done a bit of binging. However, that also hasn't left me with a lot of money.

I personally thought the light theme was easier to read. With the release of version 14.0 making the dark theme the default, along with having the ability to change back being part of the color/font pack upgrade, I have downgraded my rating to a 4⭐️.

Looks and brains. TV tracker, Trakt integration, relevant show news all in a pretty package. Add a where to watch (which streaming service) and it will have it all. Since the demise of FAN (Fanhattan) I have yet to find an app that packaged all of this together. The best ‘where to watch p’ apps (JustWatch, Yidio) are poor trackers. The best trackers I’ve found, TVST among them, have not yet incorporated where to watch function. Find a way to build that in (movies included) and this is a 5 star app.
My wishlist for the perfect tracker app:
1. Tv show tracking
2. Movie tracking
3. Trakt integration
4. Where to watch (which streaming service, app etc)
5. Support for multiple lists (Watchlist, watched, favorites etc) with the ability to separate shows currently being watched with those not yet started)
6. Attractive interface, easy to use
7. Good information on shows, films, actors and relevant news (has a show been renewed, premiere date etc)
I have several apps plus one website that for some inexplicable reason has never release an app (the futon critic) that I use in combination for all of this. Two or three are close to offering it all. TVST is one of them.

I’ve been using TV tracker for a long time and overall it’s the best one available. This last update was a great push. Had a few problems with lists at first but it seems resolved. Once in a while I’ve had bugs over the years so I’ve tried them all. It is most accurate and above all easy to use interface.

This seems to be the best app out to keep up with TV shows and times they air. I have tried several different apps and this seems to be the most accurate. However I did just notice that it missed an airing of a show that I usually watch. It didn’t show up on TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt until the next day. It was too late at that point to catch the original airing of that program. I have only tried TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt for about a week now. I am hoping there are minimal flaws.

TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt really helps keep track of episodes already watched or new shows I want to watch in the future. It would be helpful to have the channel as an option.

Perfect for keeping track of all the shows my wife and I watch! I love the different lists: Shows I haven’t started yet, shows I’ve watched but there are no new episodes, shows I watch that have new episodes, hidden list of shows I don’t want to see for whatever reason. TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt is awesome!

I love TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt, it has almost all the Chinese Dramas/ Amines I look up. My only complaints is that there are ads where ever you click, it doesn’t actually play, but their are banners everywhere. I understand that the developers need to make money, so I’m not complaining TOO much, it’s not a TOTAL distraction, but it does get annoying sometimes. Also- some covers don’t have a picture, Oh- and you can’t move lists, when you add a list, it goes to the bottom- and that’s it! Overall, TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt is great. I love it and will continue to use it. Thank you developers!❤️

TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt is basically a GoodReads for TV shows- a simple concept that is extremely well executed. The creator has a number of features to customize the experience. I looked for an app like this for years and have been so happy I found TVST.

Incredible. I use it to keep track of tv i’m in the middle of as well as shows I plan to watch and have already seen. It’s the most useful app in keeping track of tv. Gives you a schedule of when the next episode is coming out. It’s amazing.

I thought I had the best trakt app with watcht, but I got bored and looked around and found this...I was definitely missing out...ease to use, very nice looking UI, and I haven’t encountered any issues with it. I would definitely recommend if you are a cord cutter like myself and use trakt to track your shows/movies

I find TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt the easiest best looking way to keep track of all my shows that I watch on all the different streaming services…Definitely a must if you’re a fan of multiple shows

I’ve downloaded a bunch of different tracking apps for shows and movies and this is by far the best one. None of the other apps compare. It’s easy to use and straightforward. App developer is also super responsive and helps a lot. I’ve been using this for over a year and So far have had no issues!

I’ve been searching for an app to track the shows i’m on and since i usually don’t watch them right when they’re released, it becomes very difficult to note which episode i’ve finished and to decide which one should I watch next. The most important function to me is that i’m able to put all the unwatched episode in order by the released date which none of the others could. love it!

It does what it advertises it does, nothing more nothing less. I get notified about new episode drops (And it doesn’t spam my notifications). TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt is wholesome as well - vary minimal ads. The cherry on top is that if you make a free account you can track everything on more than one device and I haven’t searched for a show/anime on here and not found it, it feels like they have everything!

This works very well to track my shows regardless of where they are from, be it streaming or traditional cable. The only issue I have come across is some of my shows air in different countries first and then here in the US, or are on premium app versions and then get released to the standard version. This creates a little confusion in my “Unseen Episodes” section but not a huge deal. Keep up the great work on TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt.

It’s not the prettiest, and a couple little issues, but it works, and does it far better than the other options because it uses Trakt‘s site directly. Highly recommended for fastest and most accurate Trakt Manager.

Update : one issue is the back arrow and your menu icon, is displayed on top of the show photo. This is extremely hard to see (depending on the show photo), you really have to look hard to find them. Overall, it’s a great application, use it daily.

I watch a lot of TV. No, really, A LOT of TV. And this is just what I was looking for. I was using iShows TV tracker until it stopped working for me and lost all of the tv shows I had built up. Thankfully, after a lot of research, I landed on this one. It isn’t perfect...it takes a bit of a wait when you go into it, but, again, I watch a lot of tv. If your looking for something that will keep track of your favorite shows and will help you not miss an episode, this is TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt for you.

Every show there is. No wait time for individual episode info, it’s all in a long list so you can check off episodes as fast as you can watch them.

Any true TV addict needs TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt. Other apps would take hours for me to go and put in what I’ve watched and how much (I follow 91 shows with TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt) because most tv tracking apps sacrifice speed and efficiency for fancy design and big huge thumbnails with unnecessary animations but they take foooreveerrr to load.

Also TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt lets you choose what categories to put the shows in, which ones to display and how to order them as well, by episodes to watch, by currently airing. It’s AMAZING!

Last but not least if you lose your phone you can simply download this FREE app again, sign in with your email and it has all your shows still there!!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!

I am a tv addict

So far I’m very happy with TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt . I really enjoy the design, it’s very aesthetically pleasing, and very customizable. TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt makes it very easy to track the shows that I watch on a regular basis, and it’s easy to see what I have waiting to be watched as well as what is coming soon. I look forward to using this for a long time to come.

I’ve been looking for an app with this much detail, and ability to view in a thumbnail fashion. Only issue is I wish once you selected a show to add, they wouldn’t show up under suggested anymore. Or at least grey it out so you know you already added it.

This is great for keeping track of the all too many tv shows I watch. Would give it 5 stars but lately when click on a show, the episodes are all written in a language other than English. Fix this strange quirk and earn back your 5th star ⭐️

Loads fast. Simple design helps TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt sync with TRAKT The ability to keep track of the TV show and episode number works great. The developer updates TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt as needed and that is something I look for. Can’t wait to see what the developer adds to TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt in the future.

TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt is awesome. Updated regularly. The developer is quick to respond to your email and help you if there is ever an issue. Recommend this all if you like to keep track of your movies and tv shows (episodes). Works with Trakt Tv. Highly recommend it.

I was a long-time Windows phone user, held out converting to iOS for as long as possible. But finally took the plunge. I hated the thought of finding a new app to track my tv shows. Lucky me, I had chosen this one, and all my shows transferred with me seamlessly! Thank you so much!!

I setup a trakt account to finally start keeping everything in order synced to kodi. And TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt is beautifully made and makes things so much easier than the website. Thanks for keeping the user in mind and keeping TVShowMovieTrackerTrakt fluid!
