Great app!!

I am learning Arabic, so I downloaded Drops. Drops says the words in the language you’re learning, and shows the written word in both your native language and the one you’re learning. There are different exercises, like matching and spelling. Using Duolingo, the pronunciations were different each time I heard a word. They didn’t teach me the alphabet in order and they only taught the sounds instead of the names of the letters. However, there are a few changes I would make to Drops. First of all, I would add a microphone so you could practice saying the words. Second, I would make one of the exercises writing sentences. For example, it would say, “Yo soy una mujer” and you would have to type in “I am a woman”. LearnArabiclanguage is good for learning vocabulary and correct pronunciation. Sentence structure is not one of the things you will learn from Drops. I think the best way to go is by using a couple language apps because no app is going to have everything. Drops and Duolingo are a good combination to use, especially using Arabic, since many language apps don’t include Arabic. That said, I still enjoy using LearnArabiclanguage and learned a lot from it.

Awesome

I am a native Arabic speaker, and I downloaded LearnArabiclanguage for fun just to see if it’s legit. I know that learning Arabic is difficult because of the language, but also because of the lack of access to platforms that you can actually learn from. But, drops is absolutely amazing for beginners who would like to increase their vocabulary. LearnArabiclanguage is very accurate and reliable, both in vocabulary, spelling, and romanization. I’ve also downloaded the Korean version because I’m hoping to pick up the language, so you can definitely see that drops is my number one app for language learning. 100% recommend for everyone who would like to learn Arabic, or any language. Shout out to the developers for making such a nice app. 🙌

Amazing app, please consider adding Arabic dialects

One day I hope to see this company make categories to learn words specific to the various dialects of Arabic. LearnArabiclanguage teaches MSA (Modern Standard Arabic). This is great if you intend to watch a political speech, but it leaves you unprepared to deal with daily conversations. Talking to a local Arab on the streets in MSA is almost the equivalent of talking to your English friends in Shakespearean English. It just sound funny because it’s so overly formal. Many words and pronunciations are different within the dialects. The two biggest dialects are Leventine and Egyptian. Khaleeji Gulf is popular as well, and very hard to find study material for. Add these dialects and that’ll just be there icing on the cake for this amazing app, since most apps focus purely on MSA. People would probably buy the full version in masses just for that selling point alone since most people learning Arabic struggle to find decent study material for dialects after they get done ironing out the basics of MSA.

Quick and Easy Intro to Conversation

LearnArabiclanguage allows me to explore different languages that I’m interested in by allowing me to quickly run through conversational vocabulary that I get to shape myself. This is probably my favorite feature: you get to shape the language and learning experience to what you want to know. Additionally, it’s just fast and fun to do. Although I do miss the typing aspect which would be more practical if I were trying to be literate (able to read and write proficiently) in the language, LearnArabiclanguage provides best for those who really just want to know how to speak and understand the language or add on additional vocabulary to individuals who already have been acquainted with the language.

The Best Place To Learn

I have tried many other apps out there, and sometimes they seem to be very hard to learn with or they make me want to procrastinate to go on them, also the lack of fun they provide. But Drops is a whole new level and is amazing with learning, it is powered by Kahoot which is a super fun interactive website but now also created into an app that makes learning any language extremely easy & fun, it starts by teaching you the basic such as food, objects etc. Absolutely love LearnArabiclanguage and I highly recommend anyone who wants to learn quick & easily and of course with more fun! 🤩

Best Language App

Honestly, this is the best app for gaining a main understanding of words. I studied MSA and this helps tremendously with my reading skills and it uses repetition in various ways to incorporate new words into your vocabulary. There are picture associations which are used across each of their language apps to encourage you to understand the meaning. I’m a visual learner, so this helps me to remember the words when I need to recall them. I use both the Arabic version and have also downloaded the Russian app as well. I’ve never picked up words as quickly as I have with this — on my own. I just wish that it had a longer time period to play that was free.

Download Now!

I hardly ever actually leave a review but it was so necessary. I have a small amount of Arabic learned and I was thinking I should freshen that skill up just because I want too. I downloaded LearnArabiclanguage and after the first use I feel much more confident and I am impressed at how I am able to learn multiple things at once with their learning style. Great find and honestly am really considering paying the subscription for it. Thanks to the development team for putting together such a flawless app and thanks to the rest of the team for putting all the effort together!!!

One of the better options

This application really brings it’s A game when it comes to language learning. I particularly love how it allows you to initially choose the words you want to learn, and it works back around to the ones you dismissed. It makes it very engaging and allows the learner a certain level of control in their education. The multiple types of study task when learning only add to it further and make it all the more rewarding. I’ve still yet to see the bulk of this application, but for the first time in a while, I’m excited for what’s to come

I love this app!

I was still in college when I found Drops. I was looking for anything that would help me better memorize vocabulary for my Arabic class, and the first app I was really drawn to was Drops. The reminders, the occasional discounts on premium (which I took advantage of), the fun colors and setup of LearnArabiclanguage - everything sold me, and it really works (as long as you DON’T swipe away those reminders). I would recommend this to anyone who needs a little boost with vocab learning in another language, or anyone who just wants to have fun learning new words!

Great app but...

Look, LearnArabiclanguage is great.
Ten minutes with it and I know how to count to twelve. It took me two weeks to learn how to count that far in French.
LearnArabiclanguage really enforces the language to me, and I have no doubt that I will soon become a professional. LearnArabiclanguage is better than most Arabic apps I have tried. But there is one problem.
I hate that it stops at 5 minutes. Sure, a lot of people would be fine with that, but not me.
I want to learn more, and just in case you were worrying, it is really hard to get overwhelmed using LearnArabiclanguage and it helps me remember a lot. What about instead you ask every 5 min. if someone wants to stop?
Because with LearnArabiclanguage, I don’t ever want to stop. But other than that, LearnArabiclanguage is great.
Oh and, If you are thinking about downloading LearnArabiclanguage, then you should. Just know about this slight flaw.

About as good as it gets; now let’s see it get better

I like the constant, rapid fire exposure to both sounds and spelling. I also like how it times you to make sure you don’t overdo a session (a super common tendency when you start language learning; go really hard at the beginning and burn out). My biggest complaint is that an app solely dedicated to the Arabic language should have the capacity to teach you all the major dialects of Arabic rather than what appears to just be Modern Standard Arabic. Give me Egyptian Arabic (and the rest), and I’m satisfied.

Thank you

Thank you sooo much. My cousins is half Chaldean and I was wanting too teach him Arabic tho 2 years ago 2016 I was teaching myself Arabic and Espanol which was a bad idea because I just got confused but I just wanna learn especially so I can make sure he know how too speak at least a bit of it.

And as he gets older you know he will be like thanks cousin for teaching me ☺️☺️☺️ I know his father would be delighted that I’m teaching him.
His father passed away 2 days on Saturday night I believe very tragic but I know he would’ve been happy 😊

3.5 or 4 stars

I loved LearnArabiclanguage for learning the alphabet, but I’m very disappointed that it doesn’t use the Arabic script during word learning. It is not useful for me to learn to spell the romanized words — I want to be able to learn the language and read and write. After the alphabet, we are thrown in to learning words without going over enough details for letter learning, and I really wish we were able to spell words out one letter at a time to truly learn the pronunciations and spellings. I hope this happens in a future update. I love the interface and the animations — LearnArabiclanguage is very fun otherwise!

Best Language app out there

Honestly I’ve used quite a few apps I’m trying to learn Arabic to expand my knowledge and my bucket list is to my fluent with several languages.
LearnArabiclanguage is so far amazing with learning Arabic and I have really progressed quite a bit in 4 days would highly recommend.

In the future I’d like to see if maybe the developers release an option for me to speak into my phone and grade me based off the correct way of saying it.

THANK YOUU 😂

So, basically...I’m Arab but I forgot the language when I got older. I literally barely knew the basics. I started using LearnArabiclanguage today and I already know fruit, soup, cheese, milk, fork, thank you, please, you’re welcome, and more. I can’t wait to tell my Cito that I can finally speak Arabic. This helped me a lot, especially because it has an Arab person speaking so it helps me to see what it would actually sound like in a conversation. The thing I like most is that it’s free 😂

Great app for phrase learning and recognition

I've tried a few Arabic language learning applications, and Drops uses quick and repetitive approaches to understanding and learning words and phrases. This is particularly helpful to train the brain away from translating words from English to Arabic and instead immersing the brain in Arabic words using pronunciation, text and pictures (which are all the ways we acquire our first languages). I'm excited about this application. I hope others are too! Marhabba! Thanks.

Pleasant and effective

I have tried about a dozen apps for learning Arabic, specifically the alphabet, and this is the ONLY one that a) seems to have been designed by someone who understands anything about the cognition of language learning b) doesn’t teach letters using vocabulary words in the target language, which only makes sense if you are a child who already speaks but does not read Arabic, which most of us are not. Also, the interface is fun and the little bloopy noises it makes are cute!

Amazing

I rarely rate apps but this one deserves it. I have been trying to learn arabic for years. I know some here or there. LearnArabiclanguage is making it soooo easy for me. Yes you have to pay but it is the one of the only apps that I will pay for because within a month you will be comprehensively speaking another language. I do 15 min three times a day. You will be shocked at how quickly you learn.

Amazing app!! Some flaws

LearnArabiclanguage is amazing. I can Learn Arabic effortlessly and have learned so much! Just one thing.. some words are like impossible to spell, due to how long it is. The word food processor is about 6 words long. And many other words have the same difficulty. I would love a feature that allowed you to Disable certain words. Then it keeps asking the same questions attempting to make me memorize it, but I can’t. I’m sure there is a simpler substitution for that word. Thanks!

Free Version Review

I am a beginner Arabic learner in college, and I have yet to find an app that uses a variety of learning strategies for students of Arabic while also being intuitive and free. While LearnArabiclanguage in its premium version comes at a price, 5 mins of Arabic per day is not bad for a well-designed app with accurate Arabic translations that seem to be in MSA. I just wish I could pause and have time to write down the words for personal practice.

Great app especially if your new to the language

I have to say, I usually don’t write reviews unless I truly enjoyed or benefited from an app. With Drops I actually was able to memorize the Arabic alphabet which was a bit of a struggle at first. The way LearnArabiclanguage does everything some how helps with remembering things quickly, it makes you learn it fast so you can answer fast just like a game haha (I know that’s the point). I speak English and Spanish so obviously I have no knowledge of the language but LearnArabiclanguage has helped me a ton! Now I can sort of read things where before I couldn’t.

One thing I do have to say, I wish they would add all the differences of each letter in the alphabet such as how to distinguish it if it’s the initial form, middle form or the end form of a letter. That would complete LearnArabiclanguage honestly. I understand and know each letter now individually but I need to learn every form as well. That would be AMAZING if that was included in an update here soon!

5/5 stars in my opinion.

👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Great app, glad it begins with introducing the alphabet and gradually loses the transliteration to facilitate reading actual Arabic words. The quick and simple exercises really do help and ease the learning process. Can do it quick on the fly when you’re bored or get lost in it for a while. I’m amazed how much I’ve learned in such a short period compared to when I was using book/audio combo methods before.

Relearning Arabic

I took Arabic in college (7 years ago) and I’m surprised that I remembered this much but LearnArabiclanguage is making is easy to dust off some of the knowledge that is in there somewhere and bring it back out to the forefront.

I like the style of LearnArabiclanguage , it’s aesthetically pleasing as well as easy to use.

I rarely pay for apps but I am considering purchasing the full app since it’s been fantastic as a freebie.
