Dot to Dot Reviews

I have had DottoDot before and it worked for a month. One day I had opened this game, and I tried to complete a dot to dot, and it said no internet connection. At first I thought something was wrong with my internet, so I checked it and it was 100% fine. I tried other apps to see if something was wrong there, and everything was fine. I returned back onto DottoDot, and it said the same thing. So I deleted it, and then proceeded to reinstall it. When I tried to complete a dot to dot, it said the same thing, no internet connection. So I deleted it out of frustration, and haven’t downloaded it since. It’s been a couple of months and I have decided to retry DottoDot. I downloaded it and it did the same exact thing. I know there is nothing wrong with my phone, and to make sure I got my friend to download DottoDot . It worked perfectly fine for them, and I thought maybe there is something wrong with my phone. I got it checked out and nothing is wrong. DottoDot is garbage and I don’t know how it’s working for every one else. Please try and fix this it used to be my favorite app ever!

I have really enjoyed doing the free ones. The more complicated pictures with lots of dots are my favorite. However, once I run out of free ones, it’s $7.99 a week to do more...I would consider paying $7.99 once to unlock it (or maybe $7.99 for the year) but definitely not each week. There are a few games with a subscription like that and I’m surprised that people would actually pay that much for it each week. Also, in an earlier version, I was able to do a starred puzzle by watching a video but now I can’t...the only option is to subscribe. Please bring back a more accessible option!

While the dot to dot pictures are awesome, there are some issues with DottoDot . There have been several times that my stash on hints have randomly disappeared. I understand they need to make money but I feel the cost of the premier feature is too much for what you actually get. With this last update I lost all of the pictures I had already completed. It’s also weird that you have to do the pictures in a certain order and can’t pick and choose. DottoDot was better when I first downloaded it but with each update I’ve become more disappointed with it.

I enjoy playing this to pass the time. I like that there are special themes for the different seasons/holidays. I like most of the updates you’ve made including hints after so many dots, the navigation arrow to help you find the next one, and even the small screen option in the corner. I didn’t mind watching a full minute of ads to unlock some of the pictures. What I do mind is that there isn’t an option to unlock them anymore UNLESS I purchase the premium version. I also don’t like that there is a limited number of dots in a certain time frame unless I purchase the premium version. Get rid of the limited dots and bring back the option to unlock pictures with ads or I get rid of this game.

I will admit, this is a great way to relax, but the newest round of changes is not really making my experience better. I know that app manufacturers have to make money somehow, but I just can’t afford to get a subscription so watching a few ads to get the better pictures and give the developers ad revenue seemed a great trade off.

I don’t need a directional arrow to show be where the next dot is or the little exploding fireworks when I connect the dots. I just want to access all of your fun pictures!

I’m going to finish out the ones that are free and then find another app that gives me more of what I am looking for. No animosity meant, but the new version just isn’t for my playing style.

I would say that it is a very, very fun game over all so far but I haven’t had it so long so I don’t have my mind completely set on it. But I would say that if you don’t have the premium for that app, then you only get to play one picture per category and that is not that fun. And one more thing is every time that you have to level up, or go into any picture you have to watch an add I would make it maybe every other. But still a good app

The game is very entertaining and relaxing although I’d suggest some option for dark mode. I have chronic migraines, so having a white screen while playing a game can be really aggravating to my headache. Even with the lowest brightness it’s still quite bright. Adding a simple feature like dark mode would be helpful seeing as it would help some more people relax.
Another thing is…I understand the developers/creators need to generate profit off of the game but having a few more free puzzles would be nice. I try to avoid free trials seeing as it can be somewhat difficult to cancel before trip period ends so I’m avoiding that. After completing the puzzles that are free, i don’t really have anything to do. Just some suggestions! Overall great game

I have never written a review but I love DottoDot so much that I just had to write one. I have the dot to dot physical book very similar to this so I was very excited when I found DottoDot . I have had DottoDot for a few weeks now and I am almost done with all of the pictures in every category. I love the flow of going from one dot to the next and the fact that I don't have to draw it because I cannot for the life of me draw a straight line. I love the challenge of when I can't find a dot so I have to either play with the zoom or come back to it later. I'm waiting for more categories and pictures! Love DottoDot!

WAy to many animals. Lately that’s all we’re getting, one right after another!WOW!! LOVE DottoDot. FINALLY a dot 2 dot for adults!!! It’s sometimes easy, and sometimes not easy, that’s one reason I love DottoDot!! When I’m finished with the free ones, I’m going to pay to get the rest. I can sit for a couple of hours playing. The other night when I started DottoDot . I went to bed but didn’t want to put my tablet down to go to sleep.
Thank you so much for an awesome app, and providing a bunch of free ones! If there weren’t enough free ones available or realized I wouldn’t spend my time with DottoDot.

Now, I personally think DottoDot is great but there are a few thing that I think you should fix. If you fixed these thing I think it would be a really good game. The first thing is that it will says that there is no internet connection even if you are not in the car or if you connect to that Wi-Fi. This has happened to me at least six times. I don’t really mind the adds because they aren’t that annoying and most of them aren’t that long. The last thing I would like you to fix is that there should be more puzzles and categories that are free to get because once you finish all of them (I haven’t) it would get kind of boring. Other than that I think it is a REALLY good game and that everyone else should download it because I totally recommend it.

I only downloaded this game yesterday because I needed something to kill off my boredom. I got this because it seemed interesting and really fun too! There is no adds and it does not say things in the middle of you doing things. It does have over 300 dots though. It takes almost 10 minutes to do a full connect the dot picture. But, anyway, you should download it because it is such a great game for anyone at any age over 5 years old! It kills boredom and you can play it even on a super rainy day!

It seems every time DottoDot updates it get more restricted on what is available for free and the subscription is absolutely absurdly expensive. New puzzles are easy and definitely not worth the price. Guess with the new limitations, it’s time to just delete because there’s no way I’m paying that much. I liked at the beginning when any puzzle could be opened by watching a few ads.

Edit: thank you for changing it to once again be able to open puzzles by watching an add. Please keep it this way.

My experience was one in a million it was like one you could get only one place here. You can not believe how easy but hard it is the play, one thing that I really loved was the way you don’t have to draw the nines so that they aren’t straight, by taping each number leaves you with a perfect and pretty staring line. In my opinion this was a great experience and I would recommend DottoDot to anyone.:)

After 10 long months of sporadically trying to use this broken app, the latest version 1.19.6, has finally fixed the bug that persistently displayed a “device is not connected to the internet” error screen when selecting a puzzle, preventing the user from playing the game. You can finally play the game again with no issues!!

I was so pleased when I found DottoDot. There are so many fun pictures. Some go quick, some take more time but they are all fun. The only problem I have is that as they update and add more puzzles, it will sometimes put them in the middle of the category and I can’t do them because it tells me I need to complete a previous puzzle to unlock, even if that whole category was completed except for the new ones added. I have to redo the puzzle that came before it to open up the new one.

I love that someone came out with an app that is connect the dots for adults rather than for kids - its very fun and addicting! I have a real book with adult dot to dot puzzles, and this is a good virtual companion to that. The interface of DottoDot is really easy to use, I’m just waiting for more images because it’s really easy to finish all of them in just a few days!

A couple suggestions for possible updates:
- The options to automatically snap to lines (what there is now) or really draw the lines (new option!)
- It would be cool be able to use your own photos and create dot to dot images!

Would love to see images of specific dogs or more animals, celebrities, cartoon characters, and food items!

I like it! Thought it would be too easy but NOT!! It’s a good challenge in many ways for someone like me: I’m a bit impaired cognitively and spatially after a stroke. This is great recovery therapy! Love the idea of more than one sequence going at the same time in different colors to create a more dimensional picture. Makes me pay attention and think! The helps are great if you get stuck or make a mistake. Took me a few tries until I learned what they did and how they worked! Best app of this type!!

I’m only doing a five star so developers can see this. The game doesn’t even work, before you say anything my WiFi is all the way up, I have no tabs open, and my IOS version is maxed. When I open DottoDot it’s like the lady with the dots, then it freezes?! How am I supposed to freaking play a game I can’t play? Please fix this, I’m going on vacation tomorrow and I want some no WiFi games to play in the car. This seems fun and it’s #1 on connect the dots on DottoDot Store please please please fix this. ρℓєαѕє яєѕρσи∂!!!

I highly recommend because in the free version, there’s many different puzzles offered, and you choose the puzzle that you’d like to solve in your current time slot because the number of dots is presented beforehand. I’m planning to sign up for the three-day trial and the subscription after, which has the best perks.
