I have played APA for over 10 years in 2 different states. But I recently relocated to N Carolina. I was put on a team that had qualified and can’t play because they waited till after the 4th match to assign me. I wanted to play more than just once a week and no one will take a new player. So much for southern hospitality! I contacted the league operator and was told his league doesn’t like to put new people on their roosters. Nice huh! So how do you get involved if attitudes like that are supported by the operator. Don’t waste the $25 to be excluded check your area for BCA or Valley leagues both were very welcoming to me and I regret paying my fees to APA here. Although to be fair. It was an excellent experience before coming here. Went to Vegas several times and it was the best. But you got to be careful where you are and who your operator is before you waste your money like I did. Don’t pay them up front. Just tell them next time until you get a few matches in and decide if you want to be a part of it all. I loved it before but could not be more disappointed than I have been here. I wish the apa would just refund my $25 and I’ll step out and let them have their private club of exclusion. That way they won’t have to deal with their irrational strange danger fears. Sad!

From a data base view, if you play in more than one region stats are a problem. Overall Historic data is not great, hope they improve. But looking at the technology, if the app is so stable why do we need to keep updating this app every few days? I would think it would be more stable.
Again I update this as another roll out. If this app was so stable, why so Many updates? Why do I need to log in so often, why is it so hard to see data from multiple regions, last season data, etc, etc

Looking for information is not as easy using the new app . Signing up for tournaments is more difficult. Navigation through the app is more difficult & contains less information. Printing scoresheets is easier but obtaining stats for captions to properly match up takes more time. Navigation through the app is slower as well. Not an improvement from my point of view. One would think the league would make as easy as possible for players to sign up for events, just as easy as renewing membership. It would make individuals wonder where the focus of the business is. A point of view from a member with over 500 matches played, plays multiple tournaments every year, captained numerous teams & still captain of one & co-captain of another. It appears the the app is geared to new players and getting them sign up and more difficult for long term members to get necessary information.
