Cone Color Picker Identifier Reviews

I’ve been trying to figure out a Pantone equivalent for a teal green-colored jacket but it keeps giving me sky blue which isn’t even close.

Literally was testing using a Pantone color book and the pms numbers it was offer were nowhere near the actual color.

Not sure if it’s an issue with the iPhone camera but the colors being displayed in ConeColorPickerIdentifier are not representative.

I’m just tryna identify some color type and not trying to pay any money

I am trying to collect colors that I like into a bucket for my upcoming wedding but when I long press and try to select my wedding bucket it slides right off the side of my screen. I have also experienced crashes while trying to exit the color selection screen

Moving swatches from one bucket to another is not easy. Deleting is also not just a swipe.

1. How do I set a bucket and have all samples land in that bucket?

2. How do I move a samples color from (apparently the default) All Colors to a specific bucket?

Time to modernize gestures to match 2022 mobile software UX.

ConeColorPickerIdentifier is great, but I would love a way to group my color selections.

Q: how do I see colors in RGB instead of Hex that I see by default? Is there a settings option at all?
Can you average the parameters over longer periods? It updates color choices way too fast; and also do some spatial filtering to back out glare and uneven lighting.

I love ConeColorPickerIdentifier so far, it’s really awesome to be able to compare colors and mix CMYK and RGB builds to help with color matching. A couple of things that would be an awesome inclusion would be searching/adding colors based on PMS reference numbers, also an LAB value for scanned colors.

I’m color blind and it’s so helpffull. It has a fancy name for the color but it also tells u just the basic color

I’ve just recently got ConeColorPickerIdentifier because i’m red green colorblind and ConeColorPickerIdentifier comes in very handy when non-colorblind people ask about what colors I see. Very easy to use and fast working too!! Also can be VERY helpful for graphic design and art in general. Now I can finally stop asking other people what color things are!!

Cone has been invaluable for my graphic design business. To be to point my iPhone’s camera to virtually any object and get instant color Information including CMYK values!

This is by far the best color tool available. Any chance we could get the ability to name/add notes to our colors? Would really increase the value!

Stand-out app designed by a designer.

I found ConeColorPickerIdentifier on Reddit and thought it would be incredibly useful to have since I do a few web projects every now and then. Using it to find an exact color match has been useful. The developer has made ConeColorPickerIdentifier easy to use and very useful. I had an issue with ConeColorPickerIdentifier and the developer emailed me back a couple hours later with a fix!

I’m sure anyone who is color blind has been asked a dozen stupid questions by those who’s cones are intact. ConeColorPickerIdentifier saves me from having to ask random strangers what color something is. It’s saves me from telling people that my favorite shirt is blue when it’s actually purple. We all see the world differently and that’s what makes it beautiful but ConeColorPickerIdentifier gives me the ability to know what other people take for granted.
