I have used other apps to keep up with weather changes especially for plants and berries that I have been growing over last few years. There a few reasonable apps that include a lot of information. Mike’s Weather app is one of the inexpensive apps I used of those I have used. Yes it collects $.99 cents a month and that’s like the cost of a cup of coffee. MikesWeatherPage covers a wide amount of information that I am still learning after 2 years of use. What might make it more user friendly for inexperienced person’s like myself if at some future date or release a help menu/faqs/links/short tutorials. I am not asking for in-depth but something where a pointer or screen touch in help section brought a highlight and or link for more info. If that will raise cost, then never mind. I like the $.99 cost since when I mention it others they’re interested to try it out. I also like the monthly charge so I can opt out whenever I need to and restart in a no hassle manner. Great app and when I spend time and search for info on the net I learn a little more about weather and learn about emerging severe weather year round.

We've followed Mike's Weather Page since it started, way before Facebook was around. We just realized that he has an app, only recently! It is perfect, just like his site. As a lifelong weather hobbyist myself, Mike is my FIRST go to source. I love his COMMON SENSE, intuitive, critical thinking approach that many of the computer model worshipping, certified meteorologists lack nowadays. My friends on Facebook are following him in droves now. He is a down to earth fellow Floridan good Ol boy with a very sharp instinct for weather predictions. Great job, Mike! ❤️

I don’t necessarily care that he has decided to charge $0.99 for this or that he wants it monthly. What I care about is that it’s deceptive in the fact he is not upfront about it until after you try to sign up for an account (which you’re required to do to see anything on MikesWeatherPage ) and you can only pay through PayPal. That winds up skirting around MikesWeatherPage Store indication of having in app purchases so you have no idea until you download MikesWeatherPage and try to sign up. It’s fine if you want to charge. Not fine to keep that info hidden on MikesWeatherPage Store. Just for that, I’ll just stick to the website.

Was my most favorite go-to and I always recommended Mike. But his self proclaimed ‘social media managers’ are obnoxious bullies. Once they bully you to the point of no return and cancel your monthly membership, they block you.
It was once all about enjoying Mikes passion. Sadly it’s become all about money, free gifts and online notoriety.
Now, what brought me here at this moment…. App notification’s. Mikes minions have me blocked from even trying to peacefully remain a supporter via MikesWeatherPage. I’m blocked but still get app alerts. What kind of buffoonery is this?
Countless supporters only hope that one day his ‘social media managers’ are done away with.

As a long time user of Mikes Weather Page, which is fantastic, I can’t believe I never noticed that there was an app. I guess I just got so caught up in the page, I missed the obvious. MikesWeatherPage simplifies the page but keeps every last bit of the data. If you love weather or live anywhere near where hurricanes have an effect, you must get MikesWeatherPage. Go now. ...I mean it. Go get it now.

As a water rescue professional, I need the facts without the hype to ensure the safety of our teams and those we seek to protect. For many years we have relied on Mike’s insight and analysis regarding major storms. Many more times than not, Mike has got things dialed in and figured out long before most others. Thank you Mike, and thanks for MikesWeatherPage.

MikesWeatherPage has been working perfectly for me and it makes finding what I want to look at so simple and quick.

When I first installed and paid for MikesWeatherPage and try to open it it’s struggled so I simply closed it down and came back to it later and has been working flawlessly since then.

Mike’s Weather Page removed my usual practice of visiting ten different web sites or apps to get the information I need. Great tool I use at work for decision making based on weather events. It’s worth the 0.99. I don’t mind at all contributing toward a reliable resource.

I'm an Emergency Manager for EMS and a network of hospitals. I'm also a weather geek - Mike's page has everything I need at my fingertips which makes my job easier when making weather decisions. Accurate with all the models and links I need at a moments notice. Thank you Mike - big fan!

At least with weather storms and Mike’s app we will know what's coming during the hurricane season. Hope all the other 2020 storms (virus, riots, police brutality, etc) will subside soon. Praying for sunny days and people loving one another (as Jesus commanded).

Floridians, you should get MikesWeatherPage! He breaks down all scenarios and models and makes it fun ! This is totally his passion and you can see it while listening to him! unlike the news- which do nothing but cause mass hysteria come hurricane season!!!!

Mike is an amateur, but the information he shows is second to none in density. He doesn’t try to forecast - just presents the data. Trusted for years by emergency managers and other amateur weather sleuths.

Apparently after paying 0.99 in MikesWeatherPage Store you have to pay monthly not through MikesWeatherPage Store but only through PayPal and the credit card option REQUIRES opening an account or it will not accept payments through the credit card. Oh and apparently 0.99 only purchases MikesWeatherPage download with NO actual ability to use MikesWeatherPage until you sign up for monthly payments. In my opinion not playing fair and DECEPTIVE. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I downloaded this weather app based on many recommendations, so glad I did, it’s detailed as you want it to be, customizable and great information

We utilize the web version everyday for our offshore operations monitoring storms moving towards the gulf. Plan on supporting mikes page to help continue to keep building and providing important information.

I am hesitate to write a poor review for MikesWeatherPage as I enjoy the website frequently. However, I did pay to subscribe and was charged the fee. However, despite the promise of activation and then a refund, nothing ever happened.

I was never granted access to MikesWeatherPage and never received a refund.

Perhaps a more traditional method of payment through MikesWeatherPage Store instead of PayPal would work better.

Wow! I didn’t know you had an app! I love this! The live lightening detector is cool too! I love having all the data from your website one click away! Thanks for the service!!

$0.99 a month is totally worth it for all the info you get. But to hide the subscription until after you sign up is deceptive. It’s the same info as the site, which is amazing. But I refuse to give in to a subscription, whether it’s $1 or $100 dollars when i feel they’re not being upfront from the very beginning.

Please fix.

Update: App is back up and running.

This isn't a free app which is fine, HOWEVER, people need to be made aware there IS a .99 per month subscription cost BEFORE they download it.

I've been using Mike's website for years (donated because it's so great!!), I follow his Facebook page and on twitter, and now an APP - perfect!!

As with tons of other reviewers, I paid for the monthly subscription (through PayPal) but am unable to log in past the payment page. I’ve requested a refund from the developer, will cancel the subscription through PayPal, and will submit a PayPal dispute as to the payment already made. Apple needs to flag MikesWeatherPage.

I love the website, so decided to support MikesWeatherPage . I signed up and paid my subscription fee. When I went to logon, it’s asking me to pay the subscription fee again. Apparently it’s broken. Had to go into PayPal and cancel the subscription. I’ll stick with the website.

GREAT IDEA MIKE, I'm not one for subscriptions. BUT! When free features are available I will use them for sure. ! Big fan 5star rating on Facebook too !

I paid for this TWICE over and I still can’t access MikesWeatherPage. I even reset my password but every time I attempt to log in it asks me for money again! No customer service number. Total scam!!
