The one star is only rank for the challenges. The game and graphics are great. The car setup is great all the mods you can do and customize your car is great. The challenges like door dives and close calls are absolutely ridiculous. It creates a situation where you’re no longer trying to drive the car smooth and being in the zones like you should be. Having long hand brake pulls to keep on a wall and diving really hard to put it on a door which most likely end with you spinning out or getting gapped bad. The close calls are the craziest. You have zone to keep the clock running but if you try to hit the zone you’ll never find enough walls to gather enough distance of close call to complete the challenge. I would consider this a somewhat type of sim and the challenges are making you basically have a horrible unchasable lead. Another think I’d like to change would be having to basically purchase all the upgrades before being able to purchase the best upgrades. It makes no sense, if I in real life want to by a e46 and chop it up and build a pro car I can without having to slow purchase every upgrade before putting the best part on it. I know a money grab when I see it. Well just make them by every part and not make it where you can get every part without putting real money into the game. I’ve put in countless of runs trying to complete the challenges and not even coming close.

This game used to be amazing, 5/5 stars. HOWEVER, the ranking system changed and made this pretty much unplayable in terms of multiplayer. The ranking system used to match you with players who have cars of similar stats. This meant that if you played with a stock car, you would be matched with another player with a stock/lightly modified car. This also meant that if you played with a car that was an in-app purchase, you would be matched with someone who had a heavily modified car with similar stats. The NEW system made it so that no matter what car you drive, it matches you with players who are equal to your ‘best’ car. If you bought an in-app purchase car, you will be matched with a car with pro-level stats, EVEN IF YOU ARE IN A STOCK CAR. I bought some in-app purchase cars a long time ago so that I could play with a heavily modified car when I wanted to, but still play with a stock car if I wanted to. Now that I have those cars, I can’t sell them, and I am constantly matched with cars FAR above my skill level. There is really no point to having more than one car anymore, and I find the game to be pretty much UNPLAYABLE. Developers, if you are reading this, please bring back the old system. I’m tired of being matched with pro-level cars when I’m trying to drive my stock cars.

First i will say this- this game is usually huge fun to play. extremely addicting

the added content, pro driver cars, all fun updates. i have made the mistake of buying many of these cars

the reason for two stars? bug after bug after bug after bug. every time they fix one, two more pop up. last patch it was sponsor issues and que/search bugs. now, im being placed in lobbies with no opponent and losing huge rank points on my cars because of it. the next race, ill score a mega lead run- just to lose and be “disqualified” while my opponent scored 0 points!!! this has brought two of my vehicles out of “dk” ranking and thus stalled any upgrade process on those vehicles to allow me to progress. being beat fair and square is one thing- but when you invest money into a game, for the devs to keep chucking content at you and allowing the experience to be destroyed by basic glitches is absolutely insane. ive already made my mistake and given the devs too much money, now i can only hope they will eventually bring this game back to a status where it is worth the investment

if you are interested in getting into drifting this game is great it has a lot of customization and plenty of parts for your cars it’s really cool but once you start getting into the game and realize how much you have to do to make the money to buy the parts you start getting stuck you can’t buy parts if u don’t have the money the challenges for your trees that they offer start becoming incredibly difficult they ask for an absurd amount of point to complete the challenge near impossible and their ai’s are incredibly fast to where you can’t keep up with them with the parts you are able to buy, the game is not beginner friendly. I will say if you have played other games like carX mobile or carX on console/pc this game becomes slightly easier because of past experience of drift games. But you’re still going to get stuck on these challenges they’re way to difficult for your average play you’d have to no-life this game just to be able to enjoy it.

I’ve been playing for quite some time now, and although it is a great game, I don’t really find myself playing it at all, more or less just hopping on for 3mins to collect the free stuff and not wanting to play a match because I will 7 times out of 10 get disconnected and waste my time, which is very frustrating for a game where grinding is all you can do and every little match even for 1k matters. At first it wasn’t a big issue, until I literally got disconnected from 5 matches consecutively. Now I honestly don’t want to touch the game, so I hope it’s not just something of my own fault, but I’ve never had this big of an issue with it in the previous months I’ve played it. Another thing would be the amounts you get from winning certain tier matches, I think making them free to enter was a great idea, but you still just don’t earn much from them even if you try your hardest, and you mostly wait around for the gold tier events which are few and far enough that I just don’t want to waste my time looking to see if they’re on. Not like I expect these things to change instantly, but it would be nice to take into consideration so that playing this game is more fun than just a giant grind.

I’m going to start by saying that the game is absolutely amazing. There are lots of great cars and customization options like bodykits, spoilers, and a bunch of other parts. Cash and gold are easy to get as well. The graphics are decent for a mobile game. The gameplay is great, offering lots of variations in the tracks. Here is the main point I wanted to make. There are some serious bugs in the game. The first is that after tuning or installing parts on your car, they often don’t save. For example, yesterday I purchased tires for my S2000 that were 4,500 coins. I logged on today and the tires weren’t on my car or in my inventory. I also didn’t get the 4,500 coins back for those as well. The second bug is that the game simply crashes more than any other mobile game I play. This happens at least once or twice during the day while I’m playing. The last and most serious is that often when I’m playing, the game refuses to let me press the gas pedal. I’ll be drifting and then all of a sudden my car just slows down even though I still have my finger on the gas pedal. This is one problem that is not easily fixed. I can swipe out of TorqueDrift and log back in and the problem is still there. After taking a break (maybe 3 hours or so) the game pretty much returns to normal. This bug is very frustrating and I hope the developers can fix that. Anyways, thank you for taking time to read my review!

I’ve had this game since around the time it came out and it has been an all around good game but I just can’t handle the fact that every time I go to do a race now my opponent glitches out and I won’t get to do the chase run or anything and I hate how after saving up over 250k worth of legit money in the game I can’t even get all the parts for the viper like I can’t even put on a body kit for it please fix these issues. It’s a great game but that is a must have in order for me to keep playing. Also please make it a little easier to level up so people don’t have to pay real money to have access to the higher up tracks like drift shifters or so people don’t have to buy gingerman just to unlock the sponsor. But other then that I don’t have any complaints, accept I think a exp booster would also be sweet like added into the store and crates

Since having the viper I upgraded it so it has all purple parts hoping I could like unlock the body kit some how but there still isn’t one there please fix I really only bought the car so I could get the kit on it and a spoiler and make it look cool and it took months of grinding please fix

To start, it’s a fun game. There are multiple means to get gold and cash. Plus lots of car options and real world Formula Drift cars. The tracks are based on real world locations, which I thought was neat, and it’s fun mastering them. There are only two things that are holding this game back, car physics and customization. To be honest, this app has one of the most realistic handling models out there. But that realism comes at a cost. Learning to drift with the starter cars is extremely difficult. Only when I got an FD car from the crates did the difficulty lower. Next the car customization is barely excusable. You are set on pre-made bodykits. Although this app does remedy this by including a livery shop, spoilers, and under glow. One game that does this better is Fr Legends. The game allows you to customize every little part of the car. You can even remove individual panels. At the end of the day though, this app is still a fun game to mess about.

Despite a few blemishes like no login system to allow you to continuously play with friends without sending “ codes” each time you switch your opponent between friends it’s an extremely addictive game that while the smooth physics and beautiful graphics and sick drifting itself, lets you spend time fine tuning and customizing the way that your drift missile performs in the game. Just tweaking the builds and running laps around the “yard” to see how it all fits is worth the time, not to mention when you achieve a sweet sweet victory over someone in the cleverly engineered multiplayer . If you tune and perfect your driving style correctly and spend a few minutes getting to know the game it becomes a game you may lose a couple hours to at a time. Please add accounts, leaderboards, and possibly the ability to set up a tournament ladder option for multiple friends to face off until there is one victorious driver with glory and of course bragging rights. Wonderful game I can’t wait to see how far the developers will go to amaze drift addicts and beginners alike.

This is for the 10 billion but to be honest if real racing 3 wasn’t a big app on my 128 gb phone id put up there but this game to me feels awesome. The only down side is that , I wish they would have more engines and car body’s and teach you how to do swaps so you don’t catch your real house on fire. As for example, I’d rather learn how to do a coyote swapped s2000 for my gen x dad. Like have kits for motor to frame and transmission and beyond and show a realistic example of what needs to be done to put in the hours to widen a tranny tunnel so some drift nerd or someone with no car knowledge understand why a T56 or a Tremac probably won’t fit a odyssey unless your Kyle from boosted bois and you naturally do 9s on a street un prepared surface (I gotta say Kyle , you’re a monster of car creator ) anyways, the creators hopefully I can affiliate for your app and tell your new fans if I’m still on the platform not bored of the cars and competition. As I stated about a week ago this is an excellent game. When it comes to graphics and physics and the realism it’s absolutely amazing. I correct myself when I said all the engines sound the same. I can actually hear the differences in engines and exhausts with my $100 Skullcandy headphones. Anyway, the constructive critisim is that (in my opinion) there should be more street cars to buy (unlock or in game purchase), mod and race. Those may come with future updates. Also. I am having a problem gaining new sponsers. Leen and JDM aren’t opening for me despite my numerous times exceeding the require scores. (Unless I’m scoring wrong) a 25k combo is not that hard to do on Western Pitch. But the game has not registered any success yet. I have screenshots and video as well. Also also, it seem like some sponsors can be obtained while in a practice run while others cannot. It’s a bit confusing and some consistency would be appreciated there. Overall, excellent game. Minimal data useage which is a major plus. Realism is on point. I’ll definitely recommend this game. Keep it up!

This game is by far the best experience I’ve had playing a racing game. There are zero pay to win transactions which is awesome, if you just grind the game and play it rewards you accordingly which I love. Not only that but by playing you are eligible to win pro cars through crates you get for doing drift events. The game can get a bit repetitive, however there are tons of drift sponsored events I haven’t unlocked yet so I will see if that opinion changes. I would wish for one thing, and that’s some sort of challenge within the game where you’re trying to beat the pros to become number 1. Kinda quirky but could be fun if done right. The physics seem very good and care customization is impeccable. From car parts being able to be tuned, to body kits, neon, wheels, and decals there’s plenty of content to play with in terms of the cars. I can’t wait for torque drift 2 and I really hope they bring the game to consoles because I’m buying it in a heart beat if that’s the case. Truly magnificent game, I can’t recommend you try it enough.

This is the best, most addicting drift app I have ever come across. It’s so much fun perfecting yourself on each and every map and corner to find out what you need to do to get the most points possible. The only issue I have found is that you lose waaaaay too many points if you lose against a lower tier. On one of my cars, I’m a Drift King II (used to be III). If you simply lose 1 race against let’s say a Pro III, you can lose 15-22 points. If you win the race, you’ll only get like 7-9 points. I understand that it’s kind of the point, but it’s hard to grind when 1 loss can take you 3 races back. Due to this, I’ll only use my S13 (Drift King II) on specific tracks that I know I won’t mess up on. One small tap of the rear bumper can completely disqualify you. To fix that, I’d love to see an actual reset button so that we can get back in easier and we won’t lose for a tiny mistake.

I normally am not the person to get a drift game, but this one was surprisingly easy to pick up on. Now by no means am I truly good at the game, but I am mediocre enough that it isn’t difficult at all to make some money fairly quick within the game. The cars themselves are decently presented graphics wise, while the amount of customization and upgrades available is exceptionally good for a mobile game. The drift physics are pretty good as well, the cars will get very snappy at times when you’re spinning the rear wheels which is a good realistic feature, though at times the cars will snap randomly but this can normally be overlooked as it isn’t very often. There is an abundance of maps to choose from and all are of a decent size, though a couple of the smaller tracks could definitely use more space. The multiplayer lobbies are very nice as well, with multiple ways to adjust the settings of the lobby, though as per normal for a multiplayer system the disconnects can become annoying. Overall, the game is simple to pick up, with a detailed presentation to the player and pretty realistic for the most part while still being fun to play.

My favorite iPhone game by far. The only game I play on my phone daily. Sure, the games not perfect but these guys actually listen to the players and make a major effort to fix any problems that come up as quick as possible. These guys have personally reached out to me when I’ve had questions or problems. Sure there are other games out there that give you more customization options but it’s pretty obvious to me that these guys are focused on the physics, playability, and graphics of this game bc they surpass any other drift game I’ve played by far. My only real complaint is I need a new phone so I can play longer than 10 minutes without my iPhone 7 Plus getting hot and the battery draining 🤷🏻‍♂️. And if this game ends up on Xbox I’ll be playing there for sure as well and saving my eyes a bit when I’m at home. I wanna start by saying that this game is a definitely must download if your a drift guy! Decent cars and customizable options, not to mention realistic tracks and fairly good driving physics compared to most drift games. My issue come in with jus a few things. I feel like the point system should be adjusted or revised. I dont feel its fair to loose a battle because your opponent cant set a good lead run there for you end up sacrificing your 2nd round points. I can set a good lead run then loose all because i cant chase the guy im supposed to follow because he’s everywhere yet he killed me cause i laid down a good run and he was able to follow it. Also i feel like you should have a few more tracks in rotation when theres events up. Sometimes theres only 4 maps or so and they can get pretty repetitive. I even think being able to have a friends list or some type of chat would definitely improve the overall gameplay and experience for all of its users! Again this is an amazing game and I definitely recommend it to everyone, it can definitely jus use a few touch ups!

I’ve been mobile gaming for probably 8 years now and I’ve played many games and many racing games and in 8 years I’ve never spent a dollar on free game because most games I feel ask for money to much or is required to continue in game but I broke that streak on this app. In most mobile games there it two currencies, one is obtained through game play and the other threw paying real money and this app has two currencies but this app is different in the way that gold is actually really easy to get in game and in large quantities now of course buying it makes it faster but that’s not the point and skill and experience is far more important but the fact is that this app is vary active with the fans, has a great community, doesn’t demand I empty my wallet and doesn't cram an ad down my throat every five minutes and it makes me proud to play this amazing game made by amazing people and makes me proud to have donated money to this amazing game.
Now this review was longer then I planned but I can’t say enough good things about this app and it’s friendly, interactive and helpful creators, keep up the good work and thanks for reading!

Absolutely amazing job to you at grease monkey games for making the most addicting game, I love the physics and how the graphics are both I would rate 10/10 and I love how many cars you get to chose from giving you a way to drive a ton of different ways, the most recent update had revealed a few exploits but other than that I give your game a 10/10... be sure to keep the updates coming I will be sure to play all of the updates. Once again absolutely amazing game.

Although I do wish you had less cost on parts and tires, I don’t think it should cost over $100,000 to get a pro angle kit or $60,000 to get a supercharger, and you could use a bit of work with the livery’s I can make my car look the way I want it to the I look on the other side of the car and the is a random red streak across the car form a sticker I put on the rear bumper, and to fix the combo stuff... opponent *slams into wall, keeps combo*... me *taps wall lighter than a feather hitting the ground, loses combo* I’m sorry but it’s true and I am getting really mad about it

Overall, this game is absolutely amazing. The cars are cool, the tracks are amazing, and much more. But there are some things that might improve this game. First of all, the ocean drive track has a bug in it, on the first checkpoint of the full track won’t work. Also, I really thing it would be nice if we had a lot more cars for Cheverolet (a 2021 Camaro would be nice; also a Silverado) If you do add the camaro, I would also like to see a label Motorsport wide body kit for it. I would also like to see the GR Supra added into the game. I would like to see major engine sound improvements for the LS1 and the RB2. I want to see a real V8 sound shown in the torque drift startup cinematic. I would also like to see a overhaul in graphics too. I also want to see being able to get every custom part without having to be in a specific rank. Overall, this game is pretty darn good. Keep up the good work!😁

By far the most entertaining game for mobile. Graphics are A1 and physics are great. Car customization is great but I would love to have options for spoilers, maybe add some lighting options to the cars such as strobe lights, open headlights for the 180sx... you guys did a great job with this game, the tuning is great and I appreciate the update making it so you can tune during practice, this helped a TON! Overall I am very impressed with this game and enjoy playing it, HOWEVER, the most aggravating thing about this game is the connection issues, which I know can never be perfect, but when someone else disconnects and it says failed to connect and kicks me back to the main menu when I have 14 wins in a row and now have to start over again trying to get as many points per win as possible and high win streak it is just flat out frustrating. We shouldn’t be penalized for connection issues. If there was a way to continue win streaks after connection issues it would be great. I know it’s difficult because then there poses a threat of people creating connection issues to cheat the system but there should be some kind of forgiveness for connection issues as this has been my biggest factor in progression in this game. Other than that BEST GAME EVER MADE

Ive had this game for a while and it has been so much fun. No other game can compare to the physics, style, and fun that this game has. Hats off to the Grease monkey team. Only problems I have is 1.) the game has been freezing a lot on me (on iphone XR) 2.) what qualifies as a drift tap, because there have been many scenarios where i lightly tap a wall and it ends my streak, but other times ill drag my rear end on the wall and completely break my drift and it’ll keep my streak going. So i think that mechanic may need a little work (maybe a streak is broken if the drift angle is broken by a certain degree). and finally, i just think there should be a little more customization of body kits. Maybe allowing a little bit of mix and match between owned bodykits and stock bodykits? That would be pretty awesome in my opinion because it is simple, fun, and adds another level if car diversity to the game. So yeah, those are my thoughts. I very very rarely write reviews for games, but i really do enjoy this one and I want to help make it better!

Hey people from TD! I’m gonna write an honest review on TorqueDrift and i really hope you understand. So, I really love the graphics, it is the best out of a free drift game. I have been playing this for about 2 years now. All of it is so realistic and the views are amazing! I really recommend this game if you have a taste in cars. It has all the modes, and even hyperdrive like “targets” But clipping zones! This is awesome! But, there are things that need to be tweaked with the game. The whole game is realistic and all, but don’t call me sensitive for this, but the fire coming out the exhaust looks kinda realistic but not close enough. And for no random reason, the game crashes while I’m adding parts to my car. Even when I chose my Silvia against the Srxo player showcase, Before it shows the Horsepower thing at the top, it kicks me out, I really want you guys to fix this. And, that’s all for today! Grease Monkey Games, Thanks for the game! This is fun to play everyday I can’t get off it. Bye guys! Have a wonderful day!

Excellent Drift game!!! Official Game of Formula Drift!
The game is constantly being updated, so it sort of feels like a perma-beta, but everything else is fantastic! I love how the parts and cars are all name brand and true to real life.
My one issue is that it seems a bit slow to build cars and whatnot.. it would be better to be able to swap engines and wheels from car to car... the developers are very interactive with the community and claim to have BIG plans for this already wonderful game.. many more cars and tracks to come.. this game isn’t dead or dying, It’s thriving! ..the last thing I’ll say is that it feels like there’s a point in the game where you’re waiting for either parts or another event to come around. This makes it difficult to just play the game without spending actual money or waiting several hours...
