I’ve been using this calculator (as “Calculator Pi”) for quite a few years. It worked well for me for the basic math I use it for. I was stunned to see it had put up a paywall just in the last 3 days! No warning, no explanation. I might have kept it and paid the small fee, but the sudden change without advance warning felt like a sucker punch. Deleted.

I have enjoyed this calculator until today. Accidentally pressed “C”. Fortunately there is History! BUT… I cannot figure out how to easily use the history to restore a long calculation. I can retype each item again but don’t need history for that! I easily “copy entire equation” but cannot find a way to “paste” the equation. SO… went back to CalculatorX Store (because there’s no evident HELP in CalculatorX ) and clicked support. It brought me to advertising, feedback and a Facebook connection. No HELP that I could see. As I no longer have Facebook due to security concerns I could not see if there was HELP there.
As I chose CalculatorX mainly because of its history capabilities I am sadly disappointed. I do hope someone out there can help me figure this out. When you’re tired from working on seemingly endless math calculations it’s easy to at least temporarily forget how to use an otherwise easy app. Regardless there should be a readily available and obvious help section to answer questions. That in my opinion would make this calculator perfect!

CalculatorX is really good I love the purple it is my favorite color. Also, it’s the same as an regular calculator but this is better because it’s purple and white. If you have an iPad mini 4 I don’t think it comes with the original app so you have to go on CalculatorX Store and search calculator. Please get this one it has really good quality. 4.5/5 not bad I usually rate it the rate because I don’t know nothing is perfect lol😁. But CalculatorX is very good for collages and school. One more time lol 😂 ITS PURPLE 💜 so please get it!

I’m pleased such an app exists for the Apple Watch. Much easier for me to use than digging my phone out of my pocket. But one thing I’ve noticed that seems to be a problem is that you can only view to one decimal point. I know there’s not much real estate for the Dev to work with on a Watch, but you need to find some way to see at least 2-3 decimal points. Perhaps touching the result displays a pop up with the full number result?!

I like the purple and was free. I have donated the 99 cents because it is useful. Nice looking and they weren’t obnoxious when asking. Also gave an option to see ads if you wanted to support without paying. But that is only an option if you want. It comes ad free from the start. I liked the attitude so I donated

I do not normally write reviews. But this calculator is so cool. You can choose style and colors and it even saves history of past numbers you looked up. It makes it fun to use the calculator. Enjoy!!

I just needed a basic calculator without a bunch of intrusive ads. I appreciate that this is being offered for free. I have made a silver level contribution to help out. Very worth it.

This is so simple and beautiful app. Has two color themes and two icons. Is free, free of ads. I always keep-it open and hidden on the right side of the screen and when I need it I just swipe left and do my job. Is just great

I love CalculatorX,I especially love the lack of commercials the only thing is that you have to get tokens. And to get those you have to watch a commercial but that rarely happens!

Another thing is that,I love how you are able to change CalculatorX to “dark mode” to the purple and pink look. CalculatorX is fantastic!

Last thing,I love how you have a delete button like you do on a keyboard,and how you’re able to have a history and name your calculations!!

I did not like the fact that my I-Pad did not come with a calculator. I looked for a calculator that was not going to cost me anything but also no annoying ads. That search to awhile but, found it right here!!

Only one recommendation: Allow the option of changing the background color. Which the developer has already commented on previous posts that option will be added to the calculator in the near future.

It only has two color themes, black and purple which is fine with me. It’s free with ads that aren’t aggressively popping up every time you open CalculatorX . There’s no welcome screen when opening CalculatorX just a simple calculator with scientific capabilities.

I have been using CalculatorX for a couple of years now. It’s quick and easy for the history. Love the options available. Plus, the use between devices is seamless. And calculating tips is super simple!

I’ve been trying all the calculator apps out there. This one got it right! I wanted basic, with the numbers in the correct position and able to see history. Nailed it! The ads aren’t annoying but I’m going to look to see if there is a reasonably priced paid version. Something nice to add would be more color choices. App is still worth 5 stars just the way it is.

I was shocked that there was no calculator app on the iPad Pro. I was even more surprised to find endless calculator apps with ADS?!?! Who puts ads on a calculator? What has the world come to? I’m glad CalculatorX has no ads or banners and it works. I am actually more inclined to donate to CalculatorX. I wish there was a dollar option. (Broke college student)

It does everything I need it to do! There are no annoying ads ever. And it’s my favorite color ! Purple! Who could ask for more! I’m so impressed! Thank you to the makers of CalculatorX ! It’s very impressive! I’ve had it for a long time it’s my go to! Love it! Makes life so much easier!

I’ve been using CalculatorX for several years now, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The changing colors is really cool, the numbers are really large, and I love how it tracks history. I’ve tried a lot of other calculator Apps and this one is truly my favorite! 😬

It is so helpful for things like homework problems and other things and I love it so much and it helps me a lot problems I have a very trouble with it and it’s amazing it’s wonderful and I’m like speechless from the game it’s amazing it’s perfect it’s amazing possibly it will be the worlds greatest game in the world just made it so amazing I love this game so much it’s amazing it’s wonderful

CalculatorX is ad free and colorful it works as well as other calculator apps. It helps me with homework and there’s nothing you have to pay because CalculatorX is free! Apps these days are full of ads every minute, but I’ve haven’t gotten a single ad using CalculatorX! The only flaw about this is that it doesn’t provide percentages. Otherwise CalculatorX is great!

Really enjoying the interface, the history, the tape that tracks each calculation. It’s free, and I do not mind being asked for reviews, as some others have complained about. I plan to support them with the optional “tip”.
