My Little Pony Rainbow Runners Reviews

It’s an OK game, but there isn’t really much to do. All you’re doing is running around for EVERY SINGLE LEVEL . Sure, it’s gets a little harder as you progress, but it’s not really entertaining. I think you should add other things, like you could put in some pony/creature characters, who talk to you before a level and then their challenge thingy could be somehow related to them. For instance, Princess 👑 Cadance: she could have obstacles like statues of Spike flying at you, also maybe she could have occasional crystal hearts that give you extra lives if you get them. Also, maybe you could have, like, special occasions, like ‘oh no! Princess 👑 Celestia is coming tomorrow to this part of Ponyville and itself all black and white! Help bring back color here before she comes!’ Also, I really wanna know how exactly the Mane Six running around brings color 🌈 back. Don’t they have to be TOGETHER to use the Elements of Harmony or do their big magic 🪄 things? Please try to make this game more interesting, thanks!

I paid $20 for my daughter as a gift she earned to unlock all the ponies and it some how reset and is like I never paid. It has been impossible to contact anyone on this issue or get a response. Maybe through this review I can get some answers or help. As of now don’t waste you money.

Now that I finally got a response I’ll let everyone know, I paid $20 for this game on June 16th 2019. I wrote a review about my money being stolen. After the response, months later, I looked up all my in app purchases like you suggested. It’s not there! How can I restore it if it isn’t there!? Someone somewhere messed something up bc my 4 year old and I were definitely playing this game with ALL THE PONIES I PURCHASED and believe me I didn’t want to. She begged for weeks and after she earned it I paid for these ponys now she doesn’t have them anymore. I had paid with an iTunes gift card so can’t track it through my credit card. Extremely dissatisfied and my child is extremely disappointed.

Almost every game of MyLittlePony u have to pay and then finish the game it’s like WHY like who does that to poor people who just want to play games and finish it without money. Sorry but plz make a game don’t pay to finish. Also after your kid(s) play the game and you pay money your kid(s) will delete it so not cool. I only pay for games that last forever or long this isn’t long enough tho. It’s a very fun game for your kid(s) but when you have to pay say bye bye and delete the game. Or if you want to play it again do reset game and don’t pay.

If you’re reading this, thank you! I have a suggestion for the game, I wrote a review before but now that I’ve been thinking about it I have an idea. So what if you made the pony’s cost the coins in-game? You could pay for the coins or save up for them. Then you could purchase the ponies as you go up in levels. And if you don’t have enough coins for a pony when you’re trying to get in a level where you need Rarity or something, you could either buy the coins or save them up. You can keep the bundle pack though, in case some people want them all without having to save up. Maybe just make it a little cheaper. I know this would a pretty big update, but I think it would make the game a lot more fun, plus players would have a reason to come back to the game.

Overall I found myself enjoying the time I spent playing MyLittlePonyRainbowRunners. The levels start out really easy, but gradually become a little more challenging later on. This gives the game a very nice difficulty curve that never spikes up at random.

I also like how the Rainbow Powers grow and change as you upgrade the two characters available. This keeps the upgrades from becoming too stale and gives the player something to strive for.

However, I do have to agree that putting a pay wall between the player and the other characters is a little bit much. So here's what I recommend:
Allow the player to play a demo version of the locked characters within their specific levels. This way the player isn't barred from the rest of the game, but you can still sell the characters for $2.99.

Alternatively, you could create 6 new characters and shift the price tag onto them, thus freeing up the main characters and giving the player full access to the game, while still having a way to make money from the game.

When we first downloaded this game we were really excited. We played until we realized we had to pay for new characters. We asked our parents but they said no . You want to keep playing checking if you can play as more characters again. If you get one more character to play that level, you are stuck. Again! Children want to play but they can’t just because you can’t give all the characters! No you just make them sad and stuck so you can get parents to pay for just pixels that you might not even get. This game would be fun if you didn’t have to pay for things and you can complete the game. Fix this please it would make me really happy and I could enjoy the game without paying for some ponies. My 4 year loves ponies & unicorns so this one seemed like a good option. As many others have already mentioned, you basically have to fork out $15 to get the rest of the ponies to even progress. We bought them but now her playing is just a repetitious clicking. There could at least be some kind of hidden lesson or teachable moment for this kind of money. Also, having to fork out another $15 to unlock the ponies in the other pony quest game is also irritating. Either make it less expensive for a single game, or offer a bundled unlock all for a bit more that will work for a cluster of games you develop. This would then at least allow them to go from one to the other randomly to keep them interested. I absolutely will not spend another dime on any of your other games.

This game is amazing. I don't understand why people keep complaining about having to buy other ponies. Buying the ponies also comes with the option to remove ads. MyLittlePonyRainbowRunners needs to make money to continue to develop content. I bought all the ponies. I have lots of fun, it was worth it. I have never written. Review but I agree with the review from a year ago. To only have two players and require the other ponies to get passed certain levels there should be a way to play those levels with out purchasing or have someone to purchase the game and have access to all the ponies and charge for upgrades. Other wise I would have given a 5. As it sits right now I have moved on from all available levels and can not move forward unless I 1. Reset the game or 2. Buy more ponies. Even if I could go back into levels I have already passed would be a good alternative to not having to buy the ponies until I’m ready to spend more money on the game. So maybe open up the other levels so you go back in and re-run them

This game advertises itself as “F2P” but it is more of a trial than actually playing the same. This is because you are FORCED to pay money to continue on in the game.

You have the option of unlocking all ponies for $15 OR you can just unlock one pony for $7. If you don’t opt for the $15 purchase you will then realize you got suckered because you HAVE to buy all the ponies to complete the game.

It is designed to get you to pay money and hopefully in a way where you make the mistake of only purchasing the ponies one by one until you realize you have to buy them all for MUCH higher than the original “unlock all ponies” pricing.

Even with its predatory pricing design, it isn’t even made well enough to LET you buy the ponies as it errors out when you try to make the purchase. Tried to unlock everything, errored out, bought one and it succeeded so maybe it’s by design to force you on the “pay more” route.

I would recommend staying away from this game. It is hard to explain to my kid why I wouldn’t pay more money for the ponies but I cannot support predatory pricing games like this.

Ok, I understand this is a game aimed to entertain small children but I was bored and the preview made it look fun.
It’s basically “Robot Unicorn Attack” for toddlers. However, that’s not why I’m giving it a 3 out of 5. I’m doing that because of being given the ultimatum of making a purchase if I wish to finish the game. Out of the Mane 6, you’re given the choice between Twilight and Fluttershy as playable characters. Some levels require specific ponies and you may not continue without them, nor can you unlock any of them without spending a few bucks. Went as far as I could get, which only took a few hours and now I’m deleting it since I’ve completed it as much as I can.

It’s a great game. You should totally download it. Even though you could think it’s for little toddlers, if you really look in to it, it’s really fun! When you see it on an add or when you are shopping for a new game you see MyLittlePonyRainbowRunners and you think “Oh that’s for babies” it’s really not. You shouldn’t judge a game just by it’s cover. Just like books. Honestly it’s for kids and adults no matter what age. See y’all later!

It’s alright as a game, although to unlock other ponies than like, twilight and fluttershy, it’s 8 dollars per pony? And some of the levels are locked so only certain ponies can play? And they’re mainly for the locked ponies too. I’ve upgraded the 2 ponies I have and I can’t get any more.

I don’t have the money to buy the other ponies. There should be a way to like earn them? With the upgrade points. Like,, 3-4K upgrade points for a new pony. I just wanna play and not pay 20 dollars to unlock every pony tbh.

Other than that money problem, it’s an alright game. I’ve played it a bit, upgraded all the ponies I have. Kinda just... looked at everything. Idk there’s not much other than like the levels and leveling up ponies.

Also y’all kids are playing these games, do you really think normal kids are gonna have 20 dollars to spend on a game? You should be lucky people decided to play your game, no offense.

I got this game for my 6 year old who loves My Little Pony. She loves the game; however, with only one map she is completely done with the game with a pack (we purchased the rest of the ponies) fully powered up ponies. Now, there is nothing left to do but to completely reset the game. (Who wants to do that?!) The ending of the game was disappointing as well. Also, I think the game should have more purposes in collecting the coins. Once you have fully “Powered Up” your pony’s, the coins have no purpose. I will say she is very proud of herself for completing a game for the first time and that is nice to see.

The game itself is fun and entertaining, but it’s a really fast play. I finished in less than 24 hours (by the way, $10 to get the rest of the ponies is a pretty bad deal when you only use them for one repetitive map). The fact that the only way I can keep playing is to reset the entire game is fairly irritating. Why not just make it so you can replay levels without starting over, or even make new maps for people to enjoy? There are places other than Ponyville in Equestria, and I think more people would enjoy this game if we could go to those places.

It’s good but please make it to where the charters are only $4.99 please cause if they are my mom will get me pinkie pie and I want her so bad or make them all free I like all free idea better but also make it to where if you upgrade twilight 5 times instead of magic it turns into flying and also this is not complain it’s just opions or somebody might call it options but please make it free or $4.99 please free and please pretty please do the flying for when twilight gets upgraded 5 times it turns into flying

When I started playing I started with two characters. I thought that as I played the rest would unlock, but they didn’t. And to progress any further I am FORCED to pay for them. That means I HAVE TO pay $4 for the other four, or $10 to unlock everything.

On top of that, it is just a repetitive game. As a “free game” I didn’t expect much, but this is bad because the story way to generic and feels so out of place. It is not very challenging either because during the time I did play I only lost once.

Other than that, if you have time to play the easy cookie-cuter runner and the money to waste on it so that you can finish it. Go ahead, I can’t stop you.

Don’t get me started with the buy character packs cuz if you can unlock them without paying I would give at least five stars than one star budge studios also if you have MyLittlePonyRainbowRunners people don’t pay the packs cause just like one of The person who got MyLittlePonyRainbowRunners and complained about MyLittlePonyRainbowRunners with MyLittlePonyRainbowRunners purchases about the characters you need to pay but the thing is just like you said well guess what you have to pay if you want to get all of them you have to pay why I think someone at $16 so yeah $16 or you can pay each character six dollars so that’s all I have to say

My child just finished the rainbow runners game and now can't seem to be able to play it again.I try to push the houses to play and nothing happened and I go to settings to see if something is wrong and again I'm not able to change anything. Just because my child finished the game doesn't seem to be fair that she wouldn't be able play again what would be the point of paying $10 dollars to unlock all ponies to finish a game that much faster and not be able to play after that. That would be just stealing.

How come when I deleted this game ( because you can’t replay levels) I bought all the ponies and for some reason the game says I need to buy it again even though I already bought. The game in MyLittlePonyRainbowRunners Store also shows what you already bought and it’s says that I have it, but when I go into the game it shows that I need to buy it again I don’t know why? And how come to get all the ponies it’s now 20$ when before it was $10 and to get ONE pony is now 8$ when before 2$ so how come you changed the price?

My son loved this game, and we bought him the pony pack, but when he finished all the levels (which he did relatively quickly) he was very upset to find out that he couldn’t replay the levels without reseting the game. We’re upset we wasted the money on the pony pack.

My suggestion would be to at least allow them to go back and play levels over again without resetting. If there are no plans for additional levels, maybe rethink that as well. Also, lower the cost of ponies in the store. They are way overpriced for what this game currently offers.

I was sort of enjoying it, but it's a very repetitive game. They only let you have 2 ponies Twilight and Fluttershy. And then suddenly after a certain level you have no ponies and now you have to pay $1.99 for each of the 6 ponies just to go on. It's not very honest or fair to leave us with no way at all to move forward in the game unless we give you our money. My kids and I LOVE My Little Pony. This game... Not so much. We should have options, not be forced into buying ponies. For example I almost bought Rainbow Dash or Rarity, now I'm not buying any Pony and the game is going to get deleted. 👌🏼

So one day I got hormony quest then it was so horrible so I said I’m never getting a my lil pony game by budge ever so the add just keep coming up so I said I’m just gone to get so I got it but once again they just want money so you know already buying stuff so it’s ok just every time you get a game from budge it cost no matter what so this really bad Barbie dreamhouse is better then this this is trash because every my lil pony game gets worse and every game by budge is bad like in Barbie Dream house when you decorate soon when you come back it’s gone and every game made by budge is trash even my lil pony every game !!
