I had just updated FanFictionNet , shut down and turn back on my IPhone 7 and event updated iOS to 15.4, and yet FanFictionNet still crashes whenever I try to open it. I DO NOT want to have to uninstall and then reinstall FanFictionNet to fix the issue due to some stories that are present in the ... Show more library that I can no longer download due to them no longer existing on the main website itself. Please find some way to fix this issue!

Hi I’m a reader at your website and I don’t like the open app function you put into your website. It’s large distracting and breaks the flow of my reading. No one wants to be reminded that you can use FanFictionNet .

The website is fine and I believe that you should remove the prompt to open FanFictionNet because it detracts from the quality of what is very good website.

This is ridiculous. It took ... Show more me 3+ hours to log I. First time on new App as my email had changed. Really? I was thinking of authoring a story. Uh uh not now. This is such a terrible program. Not user friendly. Techies probably like it. Course they don’t generally cooperate with normal people anyway. They believe everyone wants obscure, convoluted access to anything.

FanFictionNet used to be great but every update seems to either break something or remove a previous feature that I personally use. The other reviews are covering a lot of it but my two biggest issues I didn’t see mentioned are that it sometimes gets stuck in buffering mode between chapters and yo... Show more u have to reboot FanFictionNet and that for some reason you can’t sort fics in communities. I just want to see which of the thousand fics is new or newly added or newly updated. But you can’t do that anymore. It says try a longer search phrase but I don’t wanna search anything I want to look at all of it.

I want to use FanFictionNet rather than Wattpad, but I just can’t figure out how to publish a story. I will keep trying, but making it user friendly would really improve FanFictionNet and the website!!!

I usually love reading on FanFictionNet due to my poor WiFi, it’s usually one the only apps I can properly use. But as of yesterday it keeps crashing when I try to open FanFictionNet . Please make a patch, I would hate to have to find a different app after using this one for so long.

Links used to open in app instead of safari, but this no longer seems to work in iOS 15.

I wonder why when read in FanFictionNet, you can’t use iOS system dictionaries as in other apps? I love FanFictionNet and it was working fine before but now it’s randomly closing FanFictionNet immediately after you open it.

For about a week now FanFictionNet has been crashing readers are unable to open it. Other than that it’s great but I would be better if the maximum of downloaded stories wasn’t 1000.

FanFictionNet is pretty good(when not taking forever) for reading stories. Writing is an issue though. Sometimes it takes forever to upload a working chapter and recently for no reason it won’t open up certain files. It’s rather frustrating.

Not much to say besides it’s good enough and allows you to download stories a nice addition would be adding in a filter option for characters you want to look for in you’re library like how it is when you use the website.

But there’s something wrong with the search now. I can’t look up any movies or other fandoms. I hit ‘Read’ and there’s nothing to choose from. Even when I search for specific movies. I love FanFictionNet and so I hope this gets resolved soon.

This is truly an amazing app and offers plenty of reading for those who prefer to read fanfictions instead of books.

However, when it’s updated, almost always something ‘breaks’ usually where it kicks you out as soon as you try to open it. These are fixed in the next update, but when it’s up... Show more dated again, somethings wrong.

This is over all a fantastic Fan Fiction app! But there is a bug where if I log out I can’t log back into my account. It says login failed. Please fix this bug.

FanFictionNet is the best I’ve found a lot of good stories an I’m not a reader type an this got me reading this is a good app if u like to read an like good/wild/romance/horror ect. Type of stories :)

As it says in the title when ever I try to get into FanFictionNet it just crashes on me. But besides the problem

I like FanFictionNet but every time I lose WiFi I keep getting logged out the same when I try to read the stories I have plz is there any way for me to stay logged on with out WiFi?? Alos I updated and now I can’t use FanFictionNet cause it keeps crashing

I first wrote my review maybe a year or two ago and in that time FanFictionNet has gotten terrible. I originally praised FanFictionNet for each update getting better. Now in the past few months, updates have been notoriously turning me off from using FanFictionNet. Just this morning I went to re... Show more ad a story and noticed I have almost no stories downloaded when I remember having almost 100. The only thing that did the trick was force closing and reopening FanFictionNet . Which seems to be the fix for most things. Whenever a story I DOWNLOADED has to think about rendering the chapter to me I usually have to force close. The reason I put download in caps is because a story shouldn’t have to think or go so slowly if I already downloaded it to my device. A new one yeah but not something I’ve had download for months. Next, the notifications while a great addition has become annoying. With this new bug of downloaded stories going missing, and now that they are slowly coming back makes them have a notification. This is something minor but overall annoying. I hope these mistakes are fixed soon.

There are many things on FanFictionNet that VoiceOver just reads as, "Button". Because of this I am unable to get past the first screen. Therefore I am giving FanFictionNet a very low rating. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you if there are any more issues with FanFictionNet and VoiceOver, because of the current issues. However, I would recommend going through FanFictionNet entirely to make sure everything is accessible to all of your possible users. After you do this, I will be happy to re-review your product.

When you go to write a story, they limit much of what you can write. yea i like that they will have people review your work, but it is not helpful when I am worried about censoring what I am writing out of fear of being attacked by the editor. i MUCH prefer to use wattpad. they have more of a varie... Show more ty of stories, and the writers get full freedom to their works. decided to try something new with FanFictionNet and it just wasn’t for me for these reasons. they make you sign a whole long thing before you start publishing about the things that they do not allow in their writings. they want all writings to be rated K which is “ok for most ages” but many people who write FANFICTION do not write it for young children to be reading, nor is any of it appropriate for these children. overall, i personally did not like FanFictionNet.

This is more of a review of the Fanfiction website as a whole rather than just FanFictionNet . First off, they hit you with so many rules that you're forced to only write a certain way. Then they don't let you publish or even message people for half a day after you make an account. So you have to wait for hours to do what you downloaded FanFictionNet to do. And then finally, the first thing that happens in less than an hour after I got my account, I get an email from another user with a long list of "bullies" in the community to avoid. All of this has seriously disheartened my choice to join Fanfiction, and I'm currently looking for an alternative site to write my fanfictions on.

FanFictionNet has been total garbage as of late. I’m trying to figure out how FanFictionNet works and now it’s garbage tutorial is teaching me nothing. I came to read a story that was reuploaded onto a separate site in order to not bother the one that was reuploading but I might as well exert my rage onto the small things that bother me.

FanFictionNet is still pretty garbage in my opinion but I do think that this is more directed to computer users through my experience seeing that there’s a community I was told that still exists on fanfic net so.. 2 stars for now.

I’m uploading a story so that people can find my self insert of my —— account to blah blah and yeah.. I’m reuploading my BNHA crossover so I’m dealing with tags now, how tf does fanfic net know what Dgm is and I still can’t find the frickin BNHA tag?!

I love FanFictionNet sooooo much! I love to read stories on it and stuff but I have too many issues on here. First of all, I can’t PM. Like every time I try to send one, it says, PM not sent and I am connected to WiFi and I do have an account. Second, I cannot change my profile for the life of me.... Show more I’ve tried to google it and I go to the avatar section, I hit it and then it takes me to the image manager and if I try that, I need to post a caption and everything and I’ve tried that but it doesn’t show up on my profile. Sadly to me, these are the things that I can’t move past because i lov SYOT’s for the Hunger Games but most of them only take tributes by PM.

It’s a perfect way for me to read fanfics but the amount of issues is too much. The issues used to be minimum. I could deal with having to leave FanFictionNet sometimes to make something load and other small things. However, the update before this newest one completely ruined FanFictionNet . I had... Please fix this. Even with this problem I still love FanFictionNet and will continue to use it. I just hope this doesn’t happen again in the future.

Configuability:
I would like the ability to force the upper/lower status bands to remain const... Show more ant. I get lost in a good story and currently have no convenient way to monitor the time and the state of my battery without performing the status band mambo of tapping just right and then the top (important because it has the info I need) band disappears the moment I scroll without so much as a by your leave.

Screen functionality. I would love to be able to turn off the screen navigation in whole or in part. Nothing more frustrating than to be in the middle of a chapter only to slip and have FanFictionNet decide you meant to flip to the top or bottom of the chapter.

Sorting. Sometimes I want my list sorted in most recently updated order, sometimes in most recently read and sometimes alphabetically by either author or title.

Other nice to have: history of the last n stories I’ve opened, not just current or last read as I have now.

i wish there was a way to hide the cross overs and OCs (own characters) also there needs to be a notification center. don’t change the reading list just add a notification center so i can look on my own time and not lose my list of stories that i was actually recently reading. they overwhelm the li... I absolutely love using FanFictionNet! It has great stories at the tip of my fingers! I love the library usage and the folder concept! I also wish the audio reader portion didn’t always have to start from the very beginning of the chapter again every time you use it, instead it should start off where you left it on pause. I love FanFictionNet. I can switch back and forth between stories that I was reading (only if I were reading them in FanFictionNet ) and it will save my place. This is way more convenient for me since I will read several stories at once.
I haven’t found a home button yet that will take me back... Show more to my profile so it’s harder for me that way to switch from story to story.
FanFictionNet will freeze on me too. If I by accident or purposely drop down the bar on the upper and lower screen, when I tap again to dismiss it my app will be frozen and it won’t work again until I close out completely and open it back up.

FanFictionNet the amazing. It allows people to write their own fan fiction and tells readers when their tagged or written stories is updated or reviewed. FanFictionNet also allows us to view other reader’s tagged stories. The best feature of all is that the stories are ordered by genre, type, rat... Show more ings, tags, alphabet, etc. FanFictionNet also give certain requirements to make sure writers don’t just write a few lines or so.

However, there is one thing about FanFictionNet I don’t like and it bothers me very much. When people tend to post links to certain things, I have to hand type and look at the page at the same time. It’s very frustrating when you have app and you can’t cut copy and past things from the chapters. I really wish that FanFiction can allow us to copy and past things .

FanFictionNet was my first step into anything fan fiction. Maneuvering FanFictionNet was confusing at first but I got the hang of it quick ( this was probably just me being dumb though). The only problem I have with this is that the private messages don’t show on FanFictionNet so I have to use the browser version to get them. Hopefully this is fixed and it will make it perfect.

Edit: Fixes have been released and FanFictionNet is now working as it used to. I actually got super happy because I had a backlog of story releases to catch up on. Thank you for FanFictionNet.

I had a nice collection of fanfics I downloaded but ever since maybe two updates ago, all the stories I had downloaded got deleted and only 11 stayed downloaded. Plus, FanFictionNet has become literally unusable. You can't load stories, you can't view stories, you cant do anything with the current state of FanFictionNet . It will either stay loading infinitely or just gives you a black screen. Please fix FanFictionNet and I'll change my review.

As the title states, I use FanFictionNet to post my fanfics or add chapters to the story! But there’s a bug that popped up after this last update. When posting a chapter, the space bar doesn’t work unless you put the words down first then go back and put the type bar thingy between the words and u... It’s not a big bug as the space bar not working glitch only happens when you are naming a story or the chapter you are posting, so it’s not a big thing to worry about fixing but it is a bit of a hassle having to try and put a space between the words sometimes.

Also whenever I leave the document part of FanFictionNet , where I write my stories, it wraps me to the main page that has the friends, beta readers, pm and other “inner apps” for FanFictionNet itself and I think that can be fixed, this one glitch has been happening to me for a year now
