Song editor: Can’t edit songs?????!!! 😑😒

When I tapped add song from library, and the song I wanted to edit, and shorten, it said “and error occurred, try again later!” So I tried again, and it didn’t work. I thought, maybe the WiFi’s not good or something and decided to try later. I tried later, and the same message popped up! I’ve tried to edit all different songs, and none of them worked. Trying again later like it said didn’t work either, so what’s the point of MusicEditor at all? 🙄 😡

Obnoxious ads, not easy to save without using apple music

I mean I get that this is a free app, but these ads are over the top. They significantly alter the user experience. Personally, when a developer uses such obnoxious ads I lose trust in their integrity and am less likely to buy their product.

In addition, saving an edited file requires the use of apple music, and the complete sharing of information between these apps. Given my existing sentiment about ads and developer integrity, I have suspicions about this intrusion of privacy and potential misuse of my personal information.

If there were a way to save the file without using apple music MusicEditor would receive three stars. But as of now, it was pretty disappointing.

Completely stopped working!

I used MusicEditor to create a playlist for pump up song and once I completed the playlist, it started running really slow. I ended up needing to fix it anyways, but when I tried to go back in, there were errors and the whole thing wouldn't load at all. I've since deleted MusicEditor and alllllll of my work, but it's still not working. Huge disappointment

Useless

I’m not sure why there are so many amazing reviews unless they are mostly fake! First of all, there is no instruction on how to use MusicEditor; it’s basically trial and error (a lot of error). When you finally get the song edited the way you want it, there is no way to upload it to anywhere! Upload to a message, it’s literally just text. Upload to Dropbox, a text file. Glad I spent $2 to get the annoying ads to stop popping up EVERY THREE SECONDS! Waste of money and time! Don’t bother 😡

Oh, and good luck trying to get app support. The link opens in Facebook and says the page isn’t available. Good going, developer 👎🏼👎🏼

Has potential for so much more

1st. Upgrade. The ads are terrible and make the free app unusable.
2. Why isn’t there an undo button? You are committed to every little change and have to start over if it’s not right.
3. There is no tutorial, or how to, or faqs. Basically trial and error to figure out what each of the buttons do. Once you figure them out (kind of) you’re sent back to problem 2 because there is no undo option.

Waste of money and a headache.

Please update with an undo and how to guide (not a quick vid but a menu option to look through or refer to) and you will be far more useful as an app.

Used to love, but now trims imported music

Okay. I used to love MusicEditor. I don’t entirely understand how people can think it’s difficult to figure out how to use... the symbols are self explanatory pretty much and it’s easy to slide your finger to aim sections. Easy to trim. Copy. Merge. Etc. I used MusicEditor to cut several songs for ice skating program music. No issue getting it to download, emailing, etc. none. It would exit out of MusicEditor occasionally, but not enough for me to care too badly since it’s a free app.

So why 2 stars? Within the last month, suddenly when I go to I
import any music? It trims it down to the first 30 seconds or so. The only time it doesn’t is if it is music saved to my camera roll... which makes zero sense....

Music editor?

I can see why some people would like this but between the ads, the crashing, the fact that you can’t overlap music, and unless you made MusicEditor you have no idea how this works for the first 10 minutes of trying to put a song together. This just isn’t a good app. It’s barely functional and poorly designed.

Fix the little stuff

It just needs a few tweaks fam this is like the only app where u can download from a browser, but it crashes when u try to choose a pic for your song and the browser doesn’t work

Good but..

Good but doesn't let you export your songs anywhere you can only edit it and play it on MusicEditor, should make it able to export songs to any other music related apps as an mp3 file that's the reason I downloaded MusicEditor to be disappointed please make this exportable for the next update

Ehhh. It's good, but it has some negatives.

In my honesty, I think MusicEditor is really cool. Especially how you can download music, edit it, listen to it, and edit it how it looks whenever you're listening to it. For example, like how you can put a picture for it, or how you can put lyrics for the song. It's really cool how the MusicEditor has this. Unlike other apps.

However, there are some negatives about it. When you're editing your music, there isn't any undo button. And also, it crashes whenever you try to choose a picture. :/

There are several things that MusicEditor could have or improve on. Such as at least a guide or help button to show the user how to edit their music. This is because when I first used it, it was a little confusing and the user might give up trying to use MusicEditor and see what else it provides. To add on, it needs to fix its current negatives. Such as crashes and such.

But besides all of my reasoning, I think MusicEditor is cool. ^-^

Good until...

MusicEditor has been amazing! I have been able to download songs and easily change them. The only problem is sometimes MusicEditor closes itself when you are working on a song and it deletes your progress unless you previously saved it. Otherwise it is great to use!

Great but messes up some!!

I love MusicEditor most of the time and it is really easy to use and fun!! But sometimes I will be almost finished editing a song and have done soooo much work on it and MusicEditor will freeze and then it will go to my home screen. Then when I click back on MusicEditor EVERYTHING I had done is gone!!!!! I don’t know if this is MusicEditor or my phone but it has happened way too many times!!! Other than that MusicEditor is a great way to edit music!

Would be great, but only if it worked properly...

I really want to be able to edit and download audio tracks, and MusicEditor does a very great job of doing that! The controls are easy to use, and the process of uploading it is somewhat simple. However... I’ve been kicked off MusicEditor many times, and have lost all of my progress. It would be a little better if my progress was saved halfway through, but it isn’t. Please fix this!! I don’t even mind having the ads, but I don’t want MusicEditor to keep crashing!

Fantastic app for stripping sound and music files

I normally use it to pull audio from video files. I also use it to crop the audio file to start and end at specific parts of the file.

Edited review

I was trying to cut certain parts out of an MP3, but when I played it back it was echoing the original under my trimmed version, making it very unusable. I had very high hopes and was let down. This anger may be stemming from the fact that it's one in the morning and I just need to edit this dang MP3 but wow, MusicEditor just needs to be better.

DISREGARD THIS REVIEW^
I think it was my fault, MusicEditor is amazing I'm glad I gave it a second chance. #leapoffaith

Great for Slimming Down Tracks

If you need just an intro or need to edit a song for an event MusicEditor is great! I use MusicEditor to make 8 or 40 second clips. I’ve also used it to make my own mix as an intro for performers to walk on the stage.

Oh my gosh!

I can’t believe I actually found an editing app that works! And it’s free!!!! Highly recommend! It took me 5 minutes to edit a song when I’ve never edited anything before!

Great Start, Kinks to Work our

This is probably the most legit LOOKING music editor for the “price”. This allows you to get some pretty precise a cuts……if you make it through the learning curve.

It’s a bit difficult to navigate, but once you get it...it’s pretty dope. It is a bit ad heavy and can crash if you try to do too much. But as with any editor SAVE OFTEN. Or add an auto save function.

I’d stick with it to see how the developer improves.

Feature Packed

This appears to be a solid app from s solid company that also makes the solid app, "Video Saver." You can't go wrong trying MusicEditor. A slight learning curve perhaps, but well worth a go!

Pretty cool

Good app, lets you edit songs and put them together. Not too much to edit (at least not that I know how to do) but it's cool to have a few different songs put together, kinda like a remix. Not too hard to use either.
